Marshall is by far my favorite limited person to watch. It’s probably the commentary background bc he talks through his decisions really throughly and you learn a ton about decision making in play and draft.
Im a new player so I dont necessarily know who you are but youre one of my favorite voices so far, your explanations are very clear and your descriptions are colorful. More from Mr. Sutcliffe please
He’s a commentator/podcaster so yeah he is amazing on microphone and has a wonderful personality to boot. Marshal/lsv/reid are my favorite players in the mtg scene rn.
A game changing bomb in white and pack 3 had plenty of quality white for you to have stayed in white/black. Just cause a color is ‘open’ (very avg cards) doesn’t seem like a reason to bail on higher quality cards in your secondary color.
G1M1, opp plays Repository Skaab. Wouldn't the correct line be use Bleed Dry on Skaab with Exploit trigger on the stack, wait for opp to make the mistake of sacrificing a creature and not getting the Skaab ability in the end?
@@LaveryJJ obviously not, but if you are going to kill the skaab nevertheless, better to do it that way. Marshall could also be waiting to see if the opp was going to exploit and which creature opp would sacc, but he said that he expected opp to go grab the spell from the graveyard, so in that case there's no disadvantage in Bleed Dry the Skaab with exploit on the stack.
You have to kill with exploit on the stack before they decide to do it. Once they’ve decided to do it, the effect happens, it doesn’t go on the stack twice. they may not know the interaction, but if they do, there’s no way to trick them like that.
Marshall is the #1 mtg personality IMO...Arena Open this weekend, if youre looking to cram more content before then, I present you with my latest 7 win run: th-cam.com/video/d5eKE7rwWbs/w-d-xo.html

Fully agree with this statement.

Oh man it's the watch guy! I love those videos!
I’m here for Marshall.
Wait, this isn't a watch restoration...
Marshall has got to be my favorite personality in the hobby sphere. 😎

Are they guaranteed to make the mistake?

You have at least 4 exploit cards and you passed specimen twice. Seems like a great combo although I haven't played a with exploit.
25:10 shoulda got the Cobbled Lancer
Coulda played it immediately
I think Skulking Killer should do -3/-3 or targeted -2/-2
Just lose the restriction of your opponent only having one creature
This is such a clunky deck.. not the best draft of this format for sure
