I told DE of an idea to update Ash at Tennocon. Fatal Teleport should be built into his teleport as a Tap/Hold option ability. Augment instead adds more duration to Smokescreen when enemy is killed from teleporting if smokescreen active, similar to Valkyr Warcry augment.
I think Ash is amazing but his kit does need that synergy QoL. I'm running Desiccation over Teleport and I feel that it was a missed opportunity to mass blind into a blade storm for a army of Sand Cats. EDIT: So, I learned that Ash's Teleport is useful, you absolutely can summon the sand cat army by simply teleporting into the blade storm.
What I love about Ash is he doesn’t need a ton of ability strength. Slap on some duration for smoke screen (with augment) and pick whatever slash based weapon (Torid incarnon and glaive prime).
Ash is still the only frame in my roster that has double digit percentage usage, second one is creeping up though, the bookboi, what can i say, i am a slash enjoyer. Latron with the new mods goes hard on ash btw, or burston, pure destruction.
I have built three Ash primes because i find him to be so versatile with helminth builds. You can run Gloom and make him an unkillable tank, Dark Verse for extra nasty slash, ophanim eyes while invis is wonderful for bosses and high health targets, wrathful advance is always solid, aquablades and wyrd scythes are interesting ones for melee focused builds, and creeping Terrify plus invis is a great combo as well for making Ash a better Defense frame.
I dont think Glaive Prime needs Weeping Wounds for this build. Correct me if I'm wrong but what's the benefit if everything already dies so quickly? I understand Blood Rush and don't argue against it. Might i recommend instead of WW a mod with heavy attack efficiency to reduce the build-up time, or even Gladiator Vice/Primed Fury for that speed increase to Blade Storm.
Hi. So i just started recently using Ash because i needed a level cap frame, and a lot of my searching led me to Ash. There's one thing with him i dont get though, how do you get his finishers to kill? I have the build copied almost to the tee except for some of my mods/arcanes not being maxed (specifically crescendo and my mods on Ash not being maxed, so his strength isnt in the 300's), Ash's exilus slot, and Hammer Shot on my Glaxion. I made sure to watch the vid and when he got into the mission he went straight for the killls with Ash's 4, but when i use my 4 with Ash it doesnt seem to kill as easily, if anything they die from the bleed damage. From my understanding, Melee Crescendo won't proc of of bleed kills, only final blows with finishers. Is there maybe something im doing wrong or? Im just trying to figure him out so i can better use him and not.. die, so easily. Idk, maybe it's the fact that his strength isn't where it's supposed to be. Any help would be appreciated 😭 (If it helps, my main frame is Harrow.)
Sorry for my english, but i hope you understand what I mean. I coppied the Glaive part of the build exactly like in you showed it (identical ash and glaive build), but it doesnt work. I noticed that out of 20 enemys in the simulacrum only 2-5 got slash procs. I also noticed that with 12x multiplier the damage output was not multiplied by 12 , but way less (probably 2). In the video when he trows the Glaive you can see how the combo gets used and dissapears and then builds up again, but that is not the case either now(when i throw it just stays there untouched). Another notice is that now you can get to 12x combo with glaive by throwing it nad not 2 like in the past. Im not sure why its not working for me, maybe its because of the element rework. This video was uploaded after the update, but maybe it was filmed before that. Also the Volatile quick return mod shows +3 Blast radius and not +100% like in the vid (thats probably not important). To sum up: I think DE made some updates to throw weapons and mods making some builds like this not work. Please tell me if im wrong but I tried getting this build to work for over a week now and it just doesnt want to.
Idk if you figured it out on your own yet, but I was confused having never used the glaive before. When you throw the glaive by holding your melee button, it does explode on contact but this isn't where your damage is coming from, you have to manually detonate the glaive by pressing your heavy attack button while it is in flight, that's where the massive explosion of crit and slash is coming from.
Dual Tox has an Incarnon form but Glaive Prime does not. It comes that strong already. Incarnons come from the Steel Path version of the Duviri Circuit. Which means you’ll have to unlock Steel Path by completing every mission in the star chart then finish the Duviri Paradox quest to unlock the Circuit game mode.
@@thebigbossoubaid9938 I would unlock Steel Path Circuit now instead of putting it off until Dual Tox is back in rotation because it’s only here for a week once it’s back. You may be super busy that week and be unable to play a lot to unlock your Steel Path at that time. The added bonus here is since you’re unlocking Steel Path Circuit now instead of waiting, you could grab any other incarnons that catch your eye in the coming weeks as well

Nope. No need for the new mods on the glaive. You'll need to stack the galv mods for 100% damage and it might give out diminishing returns. Thats what I heard on the wf discord.

In this build Blade Storm’s damage is affected by Ability Strength, Steel Charge, Arcane Fury, Combo Counter multipliers, and Viral Status (from I believe it’s called Nourish?)
You might be seeing it as not building crescendo because bladestorm's slash proc doesn't build it, ONLY the direct initial damage does, so if the slash proc kills, you don't get crescendo stacks

I have an insane Ash build that puts wrathful advance over his one and uses the augment mods for his two and three and I have arcanes that give armor and energy to an insanely high levels and I use the wolf Sledge to do records all the way up into 7 million damage
7:35 my glaive combo counter does go from 12 to 7 after 1 hit, and after some hits the comber counter dissapear, why does yours stay? appreciate if you could explain.
Melee crescendo gives you initial combo counter when you get a finisher kill. Like how the fragor prime always starts out at 2 or 3x combo (cant remember which) even after a heavy attack, that's initial combo count. Since it's a permanent buff, if you get enough finishers you'll just stack it to the point where your initial combo is at 220 therefore after the glaive explosion heavy, it'll build right back up to 12x.

@ObiWanShinobi777 is your mod setup the same as it is here? If so are you testing in the simulacrum or in mission. If not, if you have anything that negatively affects initial combo or heavy attack efficiency like a riven or another mod, it might be messing with crescendo's mechanic. Also just for reference you need 36 finisher kills to get melee crescendo to keep you at a permanent 12x multiplier, and it does take a noticeable amount of time for the counter to stack back up after your heavy detonation.
Just a curious thought, is there any difference in the stats and damage it delivers if Ash uses Bladestorm with (any melee weapon of choice) and Ash using Bladestorm + Teleport. I have yet to unlock Simaris simulation to test it out, could someone try and test it out? pretty please?
I didn't notice any difference in damage, but it does give you I frames and put you in closer proximity to energy and health orbs so when it's done you can more easily recast bladestorm and go again. Side note, it felt as if using teleport during bladestorm triggered enemies to drop energy more often but that may just be the proximity to the orbs they were already dropping.
It works exactly how its advertised. Harmony detonates the status dot for its total damage. Ash buffs the damage of slash procs and their duration. so a 100 dmg slash proc is turned into 250 (100 x .25 then doubled) total damage if you let its duration run. Harmony obviously short cuts that
I'm pretty sure modding your melee as a statstick for his 4 doesnt work anymore this was patched out a whyle ago, you can still boost the 4 damage by base melee damage and strength, Not the same power as it used to have with silence and the innodem. But it can be used for utility to stay invis with trickery. It used to be able to oneshot enemies regardless with 1 cast, whyle being able to left click with your innodem since the attack speed greatly improves the animation speed

Melee Crescendo makes the combo permanent. You just spend the first part of the mission farming bladestorm kills to get the permanent combo from melee crescendo

I used to run the silence build all the time, If they didn't buff ash, then using the melee as a statstick doesn't work anymore to further imporve his 4'th. Big sad, Why DE why. God forbid we kill enemies with 4 in long runs
I like ash too, but with kullervo being there in my personal opinion ash lost its relevance. Besides a fashion standpoint i dont really play him anymore
Dropping in price since Galvanized Reflex released! I think it’s really good but since you have Melee Crescendo with Ash’s Bladestorm it’s not completely needed here. More so just lets other frames mimic a fraction of Glaive Prime’s power that Ash can fully wield
@@iamdeadicate4480 if your having trouble you could maybe prime viral on? but normally I cast it and if they don't die the bleed makes them weak enough from repeat casts to generally kill them, you need around 40-50 kill like this for it to be fully charged :)

If you want to use crescendo with other frames you can use aero vantage, is tricky but it works
Is what I use for my banshee heavy attack set-up xD takes a good minute to build up but once done you are golden!😅

Ash is one of my goto frames for opening riven mods, his abilities make a lot of them easier, especially finishers with his teleport

PSA Melee Crescendo is currently broken and no longer builds off of Ashe's 4. DE acknowledged the bug on a recent dev stream.
Thats been fixed it works fully with melee crescendo again, they did however break his stat stick scaling -_- one day they will get him stable

depends on content level, if steel path i think you will need it. But good news dual toxo will be out next week in duviri circuit

Make sure you have high strength & melee crescendo as blade storm scales with the combo multiplier I believe
I like ash too, but with kullervo being there in my personal opinion ash lost its relevance. Besides a fashion standpoint i dont really play him anymore

Dropping in price since Galvanized Reflex released! I think it’s really good but since you have Melee Crescendo with Ash’s Bladestorm it’s not completely needed here. More so just lets other frames mimic a fraction of Glaive Prime’s power that Ash can fully wield

@@iamdeadicate4480 if your having trouble you could maybe prime viral on? but normally I cast it and if they don't die the bleed makes them weak enough from repeat casts to generally kill them, you need around 40-50 kill like this for it to be fully charged :)
