- Is it worth spending a bit more on hair straighteners? Here, I compare the £400 Dyson Corrale straighteners to the £30 Remington Shine Therapy ones, after the passing of my Platinum GHDs. What's the verdict?

Just wanna add- great review of the products! However in regards for results, I would recommend going in sections. About 1.5 inch sections and pass the iron in smooth slow passes. A comb under the straightener when you pass help lay the hair for proper straightening to avoid missing your waves. I know you are doing a quick review though lol but I hope my suggestion helps! I will say I have a Remington myself and it’s wonderful!!!
Also forgot to mention- when you go fast and do 5+ passes through the hair it actually damages the hair more than just doing one good slow pass.

Very helpful video, I stood on my GF's babyliss straigteners and broke them by accident (not my fault she had them under some clothes on the floor!)😵 ended up buying the Remingtons after watching this, hopefully she will be super happy with the results

Does it get around the scalp area (face framing area) without burning your scalp?
Hey! I mentioned I don’t tend to do it that close to the scalp as I don’t like the ‘flat’ look it gives me! Tbh i wouldnt advise holding it too close to the scalp :/ x
Do you like the Remington or the GHD better? If you could afford the GHD at the time.
Sadly not a straightforward answer. I like both. In terms of the experience, GHD. When focusing on price and function, Remington - although we'll see if I get as many years out of them!😅
Because they are a higher heat plus u don't have to charge it an ur plugged in to the damn mains girl I have the remmington an I got hair dryer an straightener for £40 f the dyson one haha

The Remington straighteners are £79. Good review though, the dyson definitely not worth it!
