  • DYSON AIRSTRIAT on FRIZZY hair!
    Hey guys! Today I tried out the new Dyson Airstrait on my frizzy hair. I had the Dyson airwrap and that did not work out for me. This on the other hand, I'm BEYOND obsessed with!! Have you tried this out or do you plan to try it out??

    If you squeeze the air straight together, it creates just the blow dryer blow, and you use that on your roots before straightening the section of hair. I noticed it helps so much to get rid of the root frizz. Hard to explain but "blow dry" roots with air straight first.

    • @AshleyMova
      @AshleyMova  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes! I finally realized this haha. Definitely helps with the wet roots. thank you!!

    loved your review. just fyi remember this tool works best with wet hair. In order to avoid seeing the steam re-spray your hair once its getting too dry.

    Love the review! My hair is like yours in frizz. Did the frizz stay at bay? When I straighten my hair with the Airwrap it looks ok but then the frizz comes back after a few hours. I am hoping that is not the case with the AirStraight.

    • @AshleyMova
      @AshleyMova  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Omg the airwrap wouldn't even straighten for me! I mean kiiinddaa but it was very puffy and not sleek. I am loving the frizz taming results of the airstrait. I've been doing my hair once a week and it pretty much stays straight the entire time (I touch up around my face from tucking my hair behind my ears etc but frizz stays at bay!)

      @AshleyMova It just helps to see it. Fine, prone to frizz, can look great and thick when styled. Scrunched curls works okay enough but won’t survive to the next day.
      Needs heat and / or pressure to truly look good.

      @@kz7115You’re 100% right. What you described is my hair exactly. I just bought mine last week and I too am keeping it. I’m super impressed. It even kept my frizz at bay the whole day and it’s been super humid where I live. It’s shockingly batter than any other dryer I’ve ever owned. And the best part? It’s so much easier to use than the brush & dryer method and it’s even easier to use than my Hot Tools Air Brush as well. Another bonus is that unlike the Dyson Airwrap, the Cool button on the Airstrait actually yields very cool (almost cold) air. Score! $500 is very pricey, but for me, because the results are so impressive, it’s def worth it.

    Once again a long hair demo that doesn't require specific styling. It would be helpful to see comparison with someone with medium or short layered styles. Long hair is usually straight or layered that's interested in heat damage due to long-term growth. How does this compare to short styling?

    • @user-jg7qp3nw1k
      @user-jg7qp3nw1k 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Short does ok, layers start to look choppy if you don't curl it under with the airstraight.
