Can't say I've played all the games, I only played Underground 2, Shift, Undcover and Most Wanted, but I gotta say the newest NFS games look all the same. Don't get me wrong, that may not be a bad thing with set concepts (Gran Turismo, F1, WRC, etc.), but not with NFS. It's like the Call of Duty of racing games.

@@PG-20 no rivals was not similar at all... Nfs hp10 was a highway racer.... Nfs rival was a mix of hp10 and nfsmw12. Go see whitelight review you'll know how nfs was devasted after nfshp10 as next 4 games had the same car mechanics of nfshp10 although the settings were hugely different. Only in payback they realised the car should work differently and they added a tune setting for a car to be able work in both urban lanes and countryside highways

Special edition 240sx 3rd playthrough....tier 5 special engine upgrade, coupled with its steller handling the powerboost made the car compete with top end rides, in the corners at least😌
PGR3 was such an underrated racing game at its time. But I'm heartbroken that Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition didn't make the video for 2005! That game is a perfect gem!

Most of these games are nice, but your forgetting one of the top 3 best racing games of all time. MIDNIGHT CLUB 3 (DUB Remix). ALSO: NFS WORLD was one of the best of nfs
Midnight Club 3 is amazing! LA was pretty fun, and I loved the in car view, but Midnight Club 3 was better for pretty much everything else (except graphic). Heck you can still play MC3 multiplayer, via split-screen and LAN, can't say the same with LA where multiplayer was only online... Lot of games went down this route sadly, no split-screen is one thing (hardware limitations, etc.), but no LAN is just unacceptable!
@@armokil if you wants facts (to a certain extent), you can head over to ISuckAtDriving's channel. He made a track specifically to test S1 cars. Here he has a list of his fastest S1 cars. I suggest you look at one of his S1 car videos and see if you can find the list of fastest cars on that track, somewhere at the end of the video.

Dont get me wrong though. Im not saying they are bad games cause they are not. Graphics are very good in them and the learning curve for the games will test even a racing game pro and i liked that about them.
Man, would've been nice to see Driver: San Francisco. Still holds up to this day in every aspect, except for the online community. Which is not bad, especially considering it came out in 2011.
And he actually missed some of them , like : NFS Porsche , NFS Undergroud 1 , NFS Carbon , Carmagedon , Revolt , Grand Theft Auto 1/2/3/ Vice City / San Andreas /4 and some others that i forgot their names :)
I've played most of these games. The thing i realize is that the GRID series (GRID 2) especially had the most distilled sense of being on the edge of control. It controlled so well. Snappy steering and the effect of the camera jitterring when braking, it was all done so well.
I am very impressed to see gta 5 in the video, and i like that. I am playing on FiveM in the "Project Homecoming" Server and there you can race nearly round about the clock. Besides that, i am personaly missing Dakar 18, but i can under stand if it doesen't fit into 100 Games as the 101st.

When it comes to racing games, I try to play a big variety of them and still try to get some fun out of it regardless of visual quality. Whether you enjoy arcade or simulation, racing is racing. I honestly prefer fast paced arcade-style racing games like Daytona or nfshp2 or burnout, but I also have fun with Gran Turismo, Forza, and hundreds of other racing games just like it. No matter what your preferences are, race on.
From all those games, one really stood out, "Motorstorm" at 0:44, couldn't remember even its name but that game kept me awake for hours. Edit: oh 3:58 they made "n°2"
I know, right? People really hated that but it was so amazing. At first it felt so hard to control i was keep bumping into everything then i got the hang of it and couldn't stop driving. Let's not mention the graphics were gorgeous.
I like both but I wish there were few things from Hot pursuit in MW 2012 (police helicopters, spikes on racers, EMP on police cars, jammer on racers...) and better story than just lvl up by earning sp

BeamNG.Drive may SEEM like a racing game, but it's LITERALLY NOT A RACING GAME. to put it simply, beamng is literally a car physics simulator, using a revolutionary soft-body physics engine to replicate real life physics on a vehicle. Furthermore, it's not much of a racing game if you aren't actually racing against ANYONE. Beamng is a single-player ONLY game. Besides, racing is not the main premise of the game, even though it has some "racing" mission types. The actual premise of the game is just like I said, I car physics simulator, nothing more. Any third party, or even developer-made mods do not count, because they are not canon to the original game

Most of these games are nice, but your forgetting one of the top 3 best racing games of all time. MIDNIGHT CLUB 3 (DUB Remix).

Midnight Club 3 is amazing! LA was pretty fun, and I loved the in car view, but Midnight Club 3 was better for pretty much everything else (except graphic). Heck you can still play MC3 multiplayer, via split-screen and LAN, can't say the same with LA where multiplayer was only online...
Lot of games went down this route sadly, no split-screen is one thing (hardware limitations, etc.), but no LAN is just unacceptable!

I suggest you look at one of his S1 car videos and see if you can find the list of fastest cars on that track, somewhere at the end of the video.

I've played most of these games. The thing i realize is that the GRID series (GRID 2) especially had the most distilled sense of being on the edge of control. It controlled so well. Snappy steering and the effect of the camera jitterring when braking, it was all done so well.

When it comes to racing games, I try to play a big variety of them and still try to get some fun out of it regardless of visual quality. Whether you enjoy arcade or simulation, racing is racing.
I honestly prefer fast paced arcade-style racing games like Daytona or nfshp2 or burnout, but I also have fun with Gran Turismo, Forza, and hundreds of other racing games just like it. No matter what your preferences are, race on.

to put it simply, beamng is literally a car physics simulator, using a revolutionary soft-body physics engine to replicate real life physics on a vehicle.
Furthermore, it's not much of a racing game if you aren't actually racing against ANYONE. Beamng is a single-player ONLY game. Besides, racing is not the main premise of the game, even though it has some "racing" mission types. The actual premise of the game is just like I said, I car physics simulator, nothing more. Any third party, or even developer-made mods do not count, because they are not canon to the original game
