Still have a lot more to share! 😂 btw thanks for having both of us on your amazing show! ❤ Can’t wait for more episodes of this one night in Bangkok podcast. 🎉
Thanks for your insights, you were great. Hope you find someone special. Although not a lot of good farang along Sukhumvit, so expect it to take a while!
Great show Eric, I'm glad you get some guests from all walks of life! Great to hear different perspectives from Thais who can elaborate what life is like for locals in Thailand being able to speak with excellent English!
What such a great conversation with two Thai women. The qualities and values they express are so refreshing and definitely what works for me. I hope only the best for them in their futures.
Awesome show Eric, and guests were the best! After two visits to Thailand in the last 6 months, I decided to pull the trigger and retire early, from Virginia, USA. I visited a lot of spots (Hua Hin, Phuket, Koh Samui , Jomtien etc..) but fell in love with BKK. Thanks for the great information, and the bit with Earn and her view of US being Vegas, had me in tears 😂
I totally know what you mean. I knew from my very first visit in Thailand that Thailand was the country I wanted to live in. By the way, another great island to explore is Koh Chang.
Those Hiso nightclubs are not for normal Thai. Shopping time is the best time to approach the ladies aged between 20-35. Polite Cold approach with relax atmosphere will be more effective to connect with ladies. If you use hot approach, you will scare or uncomfort those ladies easily. Only a few local guys attempt to find his long term partner in nightclub, usually short term ones. Lots of girls in luxury night clubs are hunting for rich guys there, but it finally end up with short term or very short term relationship. Rich Thai guys are not stupid. They knows how to differentiate between women who just wants your money and women who is suitable for love and care. In Bangkok, there are many available ladies, so you should not be rushing into relationship. Shop around before making your decision. My recommendation is for high value man.
always a fun pod. Honest viewer advice, it doesn't matter where you meet someone; it can be anywhere. It's more about how you carry yourself that sets the vibe going forward. definitely miss thailand; needs to be more than an annual trip.
Excellent interview-style video with English speaking Thais. Very informative and enjoyable Good job! - Getting tired of typical expat videos. This is intelligent and refreshing.
Took a few sitting to watch the whole show, but very enjoyable both girls had good opinions and answers to your questions. Realy enjoying this channel well done guys.
Somehow, I stumble across your content. I have traveled to Thailand three times within the last year and absolutely fell in love with the scenery, culture, food, and its people! Great interview and perspective from both sides. I'll be on the lookout for more!
I know Earn from a few appearances she made on the Friends from Thailand channel. Really smart young lady. And a lot of great insights. Both of them speak great English.
I like your show- most of the time it’s very informative. I’m really glad that you asked a Thai person how to say Pattaya cause so many foreigners mispronounce it. I did want to make a comment about something you said about older foreigners that live in Pattaya since it is cheaper to live in than Bangkok, a lot of retirees, move there and although the main reason might be obvious( sex ), the place also has some other things going for it -easy access to the beach some nice attractions like the sanctuary of truth and also: the island, Koh Larn. I think the place gets a bad reputation. But I want to live there? No but I don’t think it’s as bad as most people make it out to be. Keep up the good work. PS you didn’t wanna say where Urn was working but you kinda did. A Mexican restaurant on Soi 11. Are you dating her? Cuz it kinda felt that way. Just saying
Sorry, when I mentioned the guys in Pattaya I was specifically talking about the tourists who are very clearly there for one reason. I actually think Pattaya could be a great place to retire as you mentioned. It’s definitely not as bad as many people think, especially if you avoid a few specific areas. And Earn and I just met so we’re not dating 😝
Biggest scam I've experienced is when walking around people will offer you to take you to temples/tours saying that "the place your going to is closed" and that "i can show you a better place". It's just a waste of time if you go with them and are often pressured to buy items at their suggested destination. Always do research. Don't let people divert you.
The problem is. It’s hard for foreigners to distinguish between decent women and easy women. That being said, Bangkok is amazing and I found it peaceful and very safe
Truth or dare are welcome to foreigners just they are packed so need to book 1/2 day before to have a table. Baccarat soi 24 is more foreigners friendly I will say. In TOD there is a lot of Thai that speaks mostly Thai. New spot in town : GOT soi 24
Excellent interview, you are really improving in doing this Eric. I think the audience liked this one more than the previous one as these ladies appeared more down to earth and, you know, more normal and not way out on the party scale. I always wondered about their names, are these the true names or do they just pick them at a certain age. I mean, some of the girl Thai names can be out there leaving me to wonder how did she pick THAT name? Like Earn? Another observation: I am not sure it is good to include in the video someone who is not shown in the video. The guy behind the camera had great observations but we don't see him, kind of weird; just an observation. Also, much better in the eye than Bottom G lol
Thanks for the comment. Allow me to answer each of your points - Party Girls: I actually don't think many of the females I've had on have been overly huge partiers, although I understand if it may seem that way (it's a subjective scale of course). Thai Names: Thais typically have a legal first name (Cherry's is Pichamon), and then their parents give them a nickname. The nickname is usually an easy to say one or two syllable English or Thai word such as "Gift", "May", "Nut", "Boss", "Som", "Fern", "Karn", etc. There are probably many reasons they do this, but one of them is a cultural tradition to "confuse" evil spirits so that their baby is left unharmed (or something like that). Guy Behind Camera: Yea, I agree with you. The reason for this is just that we don't have enough space (the room is quite small) and I also don't have enough cameras. I didn't expect Dan to have so much to contribute - I just invited him to come hang out and didn't realize how much he'd be involved. It's definitely something I want to fix for the future. Thanks for the detailed comment and appreciate your suggestions 🙏
I think there is very different culture with thai ladies, people are attracted by beauty, bodies, smiles..but then culture, different character, families, mony issues, etc etc have a big impact in terminating relationship.
Yeah that's true, but it's also because people in general only know what they know. And in order to have a relationship with someone from another country, you really have to open your mind to new things. And for some people that's hard.
thai's liking korean culture is a lot about k pop and light skin complexion. few analyze reasons for korea's success since korea was also an agricultural economy not too long ago but they focused on education standard and actively seek the best educator minds/scientists from around the world. their study and work ethic and discipline also commendable thus they are a first world country, have home grown cutting edge technology. similar to japan and some koreans attribute their discipline being learned from the japanese.
The way the web developer guy doesn't appear on cam reminds me of the scene in The Office where David Brent is with the girl and guy interviewees and he completely ignores the guy. I imagine the cameraman here was so fixated on the ladies that he didn't bother to set up a camera for the guy 😂😂😂
I agree so many men come off the plane and talk to every single girl like they are a freelancer there’s no chance in their home country they would even approach a woman. I studying Thai 2 hours per day now so I can talk to normal girls on the street in November.
Hi, I must say that issue here is a a language barrier, which is some how catered to some extend by google translator. So in other areas language issues come in communication, whereas, on SOI-11 its a comfortable place having everything in nearby and communication is easy
Men you should watch all the stories read by "Thai Talk with Dan" to really see what in the long run in a relationship with them. I am really worried now having a thai girlfriend. In particular Isan one
Nah I disagree. His stories are a small percentage of negative experiences, not the majority of relationships. I’m not saying they aren’t true, but that’s not what everyone here is like … and I think some of the guests I've hosted demonstrate that.
Those stories are usually only the negative ones because that gets views. You really have to experience it yourself and not let anyone make those decisions for you.
I'm a retired farang here in Thailand and have lived here about 2 yrs. I would be curious to know about how Thai women feel about dating older farang retired here vs younger men who are only here for a holiday. Obviously, the younger men will be better looking and have a lot of money while they are here, but then have to go back to their home countries to earn more money. Whereas, a retired man may or may not have a good income, but are actually here for Thai women to date and possibly marry.
I have seen some younger Thai women with older gentlemen (in a real relationship), so it's not unheard of if the guy has his stuff together. But I also disagree a bit with your statement because a lot of young guys do in fact live here and have a ton of money from running businesses. The problem as you alluded to is that the young guys have too many options so it can be frustrating for many women.
Hi Eric! Your viewers must understand that these two women don't represent all Thai women. You've chosen to interview two Thai women who love to go clubbing and have high standards. There are good Thai women who do not go to clubs, work normal jobs, and like being approached at the shopping center. Foreign men don't need to go to nightclubs to meet normal Thai women. Earn's snobbish attitude is not representative of the majority of Thai women.
Not sure how much you watched but, Cherry said she doesn’t go to nightclubs. And I myself said you can meet people during the day, at the shopping mall, etc 🤷♂️ No need to be rude.
Traditional Thai women don't go drinking and dancing at clubs. These two are definitely not traditional Thais. Earn works on Soi 11, a known "entertainment" area.
@@OneNightinBangkok_ Not being rude but you've misrepresented Thai women on this vlog! Yes, Cherry does not go clubbing but she is NOT a traditional Thai woman. She pretends to be Hi-SO and her standards are higher than the majority of Thai women. Traditional Thai women aren't narcissist like Earn and Cherry.
@@DigitalNomadInvestornot sure what you think is “traditional.” You expect them to be out working in a field or something? Of course Thai women go out drinking. It’s normal.
Becareful Cherry, you look like a complicated woman. It's a red flag for a long term relationship. I like the Earn's spontaneity. I enjoyed this interview while working. It has been years since I haven't been to Thailand. I kind of miss it.
My parents were from Thailand, but are not Thai. I'm completely naive to Thai culture because I grew up in the US. What's the big deal with "Isaan girl"? Are they supposed to be from the high status Thai community?
Mate, honestly.. that interview was quite difficult to follow and thus not very informative. Their English is great. But, the ladies answered a lot of the questions as if they were caught off guard. I love the format and the subject matter and I’d really like to see more! Just suggesting maybe in future you could let the interviewees see the questions a few days prior to the interview.. that way they might be less shy when answering Thanks, keep it up! 🇮🇪
I can't believe it is 18th episode. This episode is really explains well about Thailand dating culture so well.Quite amazing 🤩😍 Both ladies were wonderful 👍😊 Since day 1 of channel creation and i am chuffed to bits listen such fun conversation.Just Cherry 🍒 is interesting lady, well i am single too 😂Seriously i have to agree with 100 percent about Thailand, not because i like channel, but because it is entirely true from my perspective too.
Great show! Both wonderful ladies. Earn - love your comments and style. I can see why you’re a fabulous hostess. Be selective with your men because you can. Cherry - I’ll bet your IG will go wild with new guys to meet. Hope you return to this show to talk about your dating and relationships which will flourish I’m sure. Good luck to you both.
I wish I could get back to Thailand, I was in the navy and spent a lot of time in Thailand and the people are incredible and women beautiful, id love to return there.
Good show again, but l notice every episode almost there's a dig at older western guys. As a guy who met his thai wife at your age, but is now an older guy, just being older over there comes with a stigma. I know which guys you mean, but a lot of the older guys go there with the intention of meeting a wife, which is often a better reason than what the younger guys go there for.
Yea you’re kind of right, although when I refer to “older guys” it’s usually in specific situations where these guys act inappropriately or are looking for certain special “services.” I know there are a lot of good older gentleman here but unfortunately they don’t often cross into my awareness as much.
Eric that’s far from unique to “older” guys, there’s always a section that acts with little class regardless of age, as for BKK now I’d argue it was arrogant younger guys that were more problematic, the older ones of that type tend to self segregate into your Nana type areas. You know better than lazy stereotypes you see this with your own eyes all the time.
You're wrong on the visa for marriage in America. It does take a while to adjust the status but not for the reasons you outlined. Within the application you do need to be able to show support but its a very low bar. just a bit over the poverty line.
1:09:14 re: men risk-takers. A foreigner being in Bangkok implies he/she is a risk-taker. How many risk-takers did she meet in the US? Most American men are definitely NOT risk-takers. IOW, risk-takers go to places like Thailand so she is likely to think this of all foreigners
what do people say about Esan girls? I'm mixed male (lao, thai, chinese, viet) just curious what they say? when i was in Thai last fall/winter had a great time. would love to move there one day.
A lot of foreigners are aware that most bar girls are from Esan, so some foreigners may have had bad experiences with girls from that region of Thailand. Obviously, that's just a very small percentage of people from Esan but I was just poking fun at that.
@@OneNightinBangkok_ ah I see. First time hearing this! I didn’t really go to the foreigner bars so no experience. I don’t plan on either lol. Went to one night club with my cousin and that was pretty fun. But yeah I don’t plan on going to any of those party girl bars.
@@OneNightinBangkok_ we’re both American. No, it’s not smart to find to go to clubs thinking you’ll find a LTR. I’m not attacking you which is what it appears to be what you think.
No, not at all. I just wasn’t sure what you are trying to say. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with meeting a girl in a nightclub… I think what’s important is who she is. There’s nothing inherently wrong with going to a nightclub, either in America or Thailand.
Why would I ask them how well they can cook? Actually, one of the last episodes with Darin and Bonus, they DID talk about how they learned to cook at an early age. And no, I actually don’t think these ladies watch much or any US-media.
They literally said during this interview that Thai people watch America and other countries media that's how they get there biases on these different types of ethnic groups
Club Panda cater Chinese and Koreans mostly on walking street. Rest it is occupies hugely by Indians. few clubs are for other foreigners like MIXX, LUCIFER & insomnia
Based on this whole video, you just cannot meet any lady at all unless it is in a noisy and dark club. Basically, it will become like Western countries.
Pattaya is improving it is less of a red light area more than ever before with walking street changing to be less gogo clubs and more dance and food and the sex part has moved away from the beach to other areas i.e soi boicow soi honey to mention a few but if you stay in lets say north pattaya wongamat beach it is a beach resort nothing more yes massage and restaurants and small vendors but nothing that a family wouldnt want theere kids to see same with Jomtien and durring the day central pattaya is a beach town at night its like lets say Vegas yes its got its naughty bits but so much more great food great normal clubs and lots of bars and pattaya is a bargin for food a logging i just had some friends stay on beach road at Mera Mara and loved it ..
First of all, there’s nothing wrong with going out and partying. You shouldn’t generalize. Second of all, I’m pretty sure that Cherry said she doesn’t actually go to nightclubs so… 🤔
@@OneNightinBangkok_ Traditional Thai women don't even have "clubbing" in their vocabulary. True, nothing wrong with going clubbing but let's not be fooled to think these girls are traditional, especially Earn. Cherry looks older so maybe she got the clubbing phase out of her system. Earn put a lot of importance on clubbing/dancing. Again, nothing wrong with it, but certainly not girlfriend (or more) material.
@@DigitalNomadInvestor @sokaiya Wow, judgemental much? Where I come from (a western country) I spent most of my twenties partying and clubbing with my girlfriends (there were many, I wasn't a good boy). They were girlfriend/wife material. I wasn't so inclined. So what is the difference? Earn in particular is very young. Too young to be settling down. Bangkok is also a very western style city in many respects. I see no difference with what i did and what she is doing. If anything it makes her a much more interesting lady and thus a far better catch. Who wants some stay at home, no life experience, boring partner/wife? I'd suggest that the traditional Thai lady is a thing of the past in Bangkok.
@@OneNightinBangkok_ Albeit, but you took the question. How do gals in Boston respond to the same questions ? It's probably the same despite algebraic moral variables .... then you get the massive sex-pat migration or pal yelling Eureka or Wicked Pisser with idiotic stances you cheaply enhance or amplify.

It took me 3 months in Germany before the action started and that was the best thing ever. BTW I'm British 😂
Wonder how they look with no makeup
My parents were from Thailand, but are not Thai. I'm completely naive to Thai culture because I grew up in the US. What's the big deal with "Isaan girl"? Are they supposed to be from the high status Thai community?
Usually I’san girls’ mean those people who want to marry a foreigner and get a better life as a result. Esan is a poorer region in Thailand
Mate, honestly.. that interview was quite difficult to follow and thus not very informative.
Their English is great.
But, the ladies answered a lot of the questions as if they were caught off guard.
I love the format and the subject matter and I’d really like to see more!
Just suggesting maybe in future you could let the interviewees see the questions a few days prior to the interview.. that way they might be less shy when answering
Thanks, keep it up! 🇮🇪
I'm surprised you feel that way because Earn's english is better than almost any other Thai person I've ever met 🤷♂️
@@OneNightinBangkok_ my original comment is a few paragraphs.. I mentioned that “their English is great”
@@kevinlawless8980 ahh I sorry I misread
@@OneNightinBangkok_ No panic.. great work!!
Thank you so much
I found my diamond in Stuttgart Germany and now live in Hat Yai and Songkhla. Southern food is so good
Cherry is all class!
Thanks for the comment
Crushing it
Thank you 💪
You're wrong on the visa for marriage in America.
Girl In black is insanely cute wow
what do people say about Esan girls?
Saying bad things about Pattya is funny when the worst places are actually in Bangkok . All depends what you're looking for.
lovely compilation
Good video
Hey Eric, how many times would you say you've taken a lady of the night home since being in Thailand?
Zero. I have a hard rule about never paying for “services”
@@OneNightinBangkok_ You have NEVER ever once in your life taken one of these lady's home?
never.
Fascinating, inciteful conversation. Thank you ladies for your honesty.
All that expensive sound equipment, yet the sound quality is very poor!!
Hey, it's been 9 years for me. So I am better than Cherry. Or maybe I'm weird guy. Good podcast whatever the case.
Thanks for watching
Earn might be the most beautiful girl i've ever seen
Damn cherry is just gorgeous
A Boston transplant ❤
Interesting show.
But if you wouldn’t date a girl from a club in your country what makes going to Thailand different?
I don’t think I said that?
@@OneNightinBangkok_ that’s what the two ladies said. They like to be approached at clubs or the best place to approach them is at the club.
I'm a little confused. You're saying you wouldn't date a girl you met at a nightclub in your home country?
@@OneNightinBangkok_ we’re both American.
No, it’s not smart to find to go to clubs thinking you’ll find a LTR.
I’m not attacking you which is what it appears to be what you think.
No, not at all. I just wasn’t sure what you are trying to say.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with meeting a girl in a nightclub… I think what’s important is who she is. There’s nothing inherently wrong with going to a nightclub, either in America or Thailand.
U guys the original thyland are black people and they are still there do your research 🙏 plz the indigenous okay 👍
Earn is a party girl. Nothing wrong with that, but she's definitely recreational use only.
Thats all great but how well can these girls cook?
These chicks watch too much US centric TV/TikTok/Insta reels
Why would I ask them how well they can cook? Actually, one of the last episodes with Darin and Bonus, they DID talk about how they learned to cook at an early age.
And no, I actually don’t think these ladies watch much or any US-media.
They literally said during this interview that Thai people watch America and other countries media that's how they get there biases on these different types of ethnic groups
What is that intro song?
"starflyer" not sure who it's by
Is that "Dan the Man"?
Nope, it's "hollywood" dan.
That's not at all what they said but okay 🤷♂️
Have u been to Pai?
Yes. It’s okay but wasn’t my favorite place
I like earn more and more the more i see her. Haha
🔥👀
They go nightclubbing and drink. That's all you need to know.
Careful boys 💪 these girls speak English which is a huge red flag
Id take my chances...
No boom boom is gloom gloom….
weird thing to bring up racism then just skip over it, really no reason to bring it up
Too many monger questions from this dude. Girls handled the cheesy directives with grace. Pretty normal worldwide,
I literally pulled the questions from the comments…
@@OneNightinBangkok_ Albeit, but you took the question. How do gals in Boston respond to the same questions ? It's probably the same despite algebraic moral variables .... then you get the massive sex-pat migration or pal yelling Eureka or Wicked Pisser with idiotic stances you cheaply enhance or amplify.
Really?
