Roger was in North Charleston, SC in 2010 and was leaving after his solo concert in the back of North Charleston, SC Performing Arts Center, he was in the passenger seat of a white van and stopped the driver when he was about to pull out onto the street. He had seen me with my Quadrophenia album cover and rolled down the window to sign it with my Sharpie. Some other fans with children a ways away saw what was going on and they came up to the van. Roger got out of the van to meet everyone, signed autographs with my Sharpie he had asked to borrow and posed for pics. One of the biggest rock stars ever and he could have quickly left out of the parking lot but stopped that van and graciously stayed around for 10 minutes. I'll never forget that. Thank you Roger.
What a pleasant memory, I saw them in Seattle 1982 for their farewell tour (imagine $16.00 ticket) 41 years ago, the greatest concert I ever attended. Never too old for rock and roll. God love em! Keep on rocking!
Oh my God I'm listening to more of this thing he sounds like a classic blues singer which is what the who really always was. Like everybody said this is insane this guy is 79 years old he looks fantastic he's got the great stage moves he's got the energy the passion the beautiful head of hair I can't believe it's 2023 and at least the two of the members that I left in too bad the others lost their lives really I can't believe we still got Pete and Rodger and Zack and the rest of them including Pete's brother getting it done unbelievable. What a gift who would ever think in 2023
That violin solo was amazing. Close to the original recording, but even better - tone, timing, intonation, feel: perfect. Wow. And Daltrey, at his age, at the end of a concert, still belting like this? In his prime, he was one of the greatest rock singers of all times to me. In his retirement age, with like 80% of the power he once had, still an impressive singer.

The Who, now Roger and Pete, have sustained the core energy and brilliance that made them instant friends when we first heard them in 1965. I'm glad I saw them on their 1974 Quadrophenia tour and a few times in the following decades. We're lucky to have grown up with them and still have Pete and Roger with a great band. Thanks for this.
I cannot believe how good how good Rodger sounds. Unbelievable. And what I had a hair of the man's got my God. Anyways the band sounds great Pete looks and sounds fantastic I love Zak starkey's drummings
Roger and Pete are legends. I’m in awe of how Roger can still sing so well for his age. He’s not like he was when he was in his 20s-40s, but for a guy who is almost 80 years old, he’s incredible. They’re not doing this for the $. They give a lot of proceeds to Roger’s charity for teens with cancer. They’re icons. People have come here to see them. They had to cancel a lot of dates due to the Pandemic. The negativity is disrespectful. They were game changers, pioneers, of punk, classic rock, they care about humanity. They’ve done so many charity concerts and of course there’s the BS, “hang it up”, just don’t go see them if you’re not happy with their performance. I lost the chance to see them at MSG prior to the pandemic, i got sick, I may never get to see them again. 😢😢😢
Saw them in Frankfurt in 1980 while stationed in hiedleberg. I liked them when I went, walked out realizing I'd just saw the most POWERFUL R&R BAND OF ALL TIME!!! LONG LIVE ROCK!!!
I don't know it was probably 7 years or so ago, but all of my life I kicked myself that I never got to see the who perform live. And somehow I heard about them coming to downtown Detroit Michigan. It was going to be at Joe Louis Arena which is easily 20,000 people. I couldn't believe somehow I got tickets we were kind of towards the back in the upper level but you could not find one empty seat in that entire place by the time the show started. Even the ticket manager said they weren't allowed to do any ticket upgrades wear if I paid them extra they could put us farther down near the stage even if it was on the side or behind. They just couldn't do it they were all bought up. And I'll never forget what a great show it was I mean literally Had the Time of Our Lives. Can't believe I actually got to see them before it was too late, and I wasn't able to. But I guess they're still out there. Pete's son is pretty good on guitar and the rest is just backing music. Roger sounds great!
