    Those quad trac 600’s aren’t even working up a sweat. Farmer says he can pump the spreader full and chain the semi and drag it all the way back to the highway! Or any where else he wants. That’s snort!

      Lots of horse power and traction to use the power.

    I like that they have a way to pull manure from the tanker to the spreader. That is an amazing set up.

    That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10 1 John 1 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. Jesus answered, John 14:6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 The rapture is imminent!

    I run blazer 6750’s on JD articulates with VTI injectors up to 8K an acre application rate. Wouldn’t have any other type of injector. Also run Diller 7250 tank trailers with boom off load.

    My neighbor uses closing wheels on the back of his liquid tanker. It really helps with the smell. Less than 14 hours the smell is gone.

    That's the best fertilizer you can get. Would take a while to cover big acres but I'd think ROI would be worth it. Serious equipment there.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely good for growing corn. This pair probably can cover 120-140 acres a day.

  • @rd4660

    He spoke a lot of words but he never did tell you how deep the manure is injected.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s not deep the disk openers just slice a trench. I would say 1-2 inches. Mainly the applicator is opening the surface for the liquid to soak in. I filmed a Balzer 8500 just before this pair of 7650s. The 8500 was chiseling the manure in at 7 inches.

  • @John-nc4bl
    @John-nc4bl ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That is a very narrow manure injector behind that 600 Quad Trak.
    The tractor should be able to pull at least 30 - 40 feet width of injection blades for a lot less passes on the field.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Unfortunately it can not work that way on injection. This 7,650 gallon spreader is applying 6,000 gallons to the acre. It takes 4 min 37 seconds to make a pass down the field and half way back up to empty 7,650 gallons. If you spread out 30 to 40 feet you would have a tremendous amount hoses to plumb and you would empty in a minute on a quarter of a pass so you would have just as much traffic if not more across the field. A constant flow drag line is ideal but in cases like this applying to fields far from the farm this system works best.

    My dad had one of the first "big" model 2200 Balzer liquid vac tanks new in 1978. 2200 gallon. I remember making several trips to Moutain Lake MN to make improvements to the vac pump and other updates back in the day. One of the first to have injection also. Used 3 large chisle shanks in the rear but left very rough ground to finish. Later one they developed colter design that was much better. We also had a 4 row side dressing bar for corn. Worked well but the large tandem axles would tear up the end rows something terrible lol. Spent many years hauling manure with that tank with an IH 1026 hydro then later years Allis Chalmers 7020.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wow thank you for sharing such great history. Those are two very cool tractors. I wish I could have filmed the 1026 and 7020 spreading. Did you run duals on the tractors?

    • @shawnklemm1532
      @shawnklemm1532 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@bigtractorpower Not when spreading manure no. The 1026 didn't have a set of duals but the 7020 did and we only put them on in the spring when needed and ran one on the left side if it was on fall plowing duty.

    I know that farmers in Pennsylvania like to use the natural fertilizer in their fields. I know, because I used to travel out that way to visit relatives who lived there, and you can certainly smell the fertilizer. It would also explain why their corn-on-the-cobs are so tasty.

    How many acres does a tank do at a time? How long does it take to empty a full tank?

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It empties in 5 minutes. They were putting out 6,000 gallons to the acre. The tractor would run all the way down this field and half way back and the tank was empty. These two Quads together are probably covering 120-140 acres a day.

    I know you’re just doing what you’ve been taught, but if you care about your children’s future you’d better listen to both sides! Borrowing to invest in this type of equipment is very risky! CAPOS are rightly under threat. Spreading acreage calculators are changing. New soil science proves these practices are wrong. Lakes are suffering algae blooms and it’s from liquid slurry more than cities. The future is in bedding systems like Xaletto. Do you think JBS or Smithfield is going to foot the bill? Bedding compost is 1/4 the weight, doesn’t leach, stops antibiotics use, and doesn’t require disgusting lagoons. Your legal protections from odour complaints are ending soon. Animal rights demands an end to concrete slotted floors. Listen to both sides and you’ll see the risk!

    • @Swampwild1
      @Swampwild1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carlyle or Charoen Popkhand will just go to Mexico, Brazil or an 11 story building in China. You’ll be sitting on 10 year old slurry tanks that are regulated to 5 times the acreage required.
