I see that it has Thunderbolt, but no DisplayPort in. Will it be possible to get display passthrough from those Thunderbolt ports? (I.E. Connecting the GPU to one Thunderbolt port with a DisplayPort -> Thunderbolt cable, and the other Thunderbolt port to a monitor?)
I just picked up this board for $169 and a sticker on the box said 14th gen ready... I don't understand why this was so cheap? it has 2 tb4 ports you arent missing anything on this board... but yet others like this cost $400
Can you plug in a standard set of speakers in the line out jack? Maybe a stupid question, but this isn't the typical set up I'm used to seeing. Actually found my answer in the online manual. Yes.
I preordered one, then I remembered I was already tripping OCP on an SF750 with my 3090fe. Guess I'll wait till spring for cooler master's v1100 or v1300 sfx PSUs to come out.
Have they talked about releasing ones that big? That would be insane. Their 850 is already a great value bought for the right price. 1100 or 1300 watts would be crazy
Could you please check if Noctua Low profile coolers (NH-l12 /NH-l12S / NH-l12 Ghost S1) will fit this board? Previous Strix boards had an incompatible rating from Noctua cooler list but could fit.
The manual is already available and no there's no temp sensor header. They had to use a riser card just to fit sata and the front panel header on the board.
ROG needs better engineers... MSI z690i DESTROYS this abomination... Asus needs to quit falling back on daughterboards and give their ITX designs to real engineers...
Interesting super compact board but does the board feature one of those 2 pin temperature sensor headers?
Out of all the Z690 Motherboards, which would be the absolute best one for gaming? Price doesn't matter.
Think I will grab this board for my build.
12700k, NR200, Artic Liquid freezer
i see if have some hole in the back io can you check if this board have VRM fan inside ?
A good cpu cooler to fit on it???
Noctua NH-U12A
I am unsure which will fit… will the u12s or 12a fit?
It is backwards compatible to 1200 and 15xx coolers so you should have plenty of options.

Only with the integrated GPU
I'm not a fan of how those PCB's stack on each other. What happens to my windows key if I buy a new MB and CPU?? Thanks for the review!
Why would it do anything to your windows key? oem single use retail lifetime

Will the usb c thunderbolt be able to output the gpu output? Or do i still need to connect my monitor to the dp of the actual gpu?
No, it's iGPU only.

With those huge stack, I want to know what kind of air cooler fit that MB, since most SFF itx build use air cooler.
My thoughts exactly.
Watercooling is the way
The Dark Rock TF2 will fit for example
@@DIFY I prefer air cooling. Less noise.
@@oscartirado8146 maybe if you're only running a 120mm rad.
pls remove the ribbon cable from the m.2 pcb
My volume will not work on my Hive ?
Does the ROG logo on this board light up ?
planned to get one of these for my nr200p, time to swap out the z390i edge ac
Tem Bluetooth?
Those m.2 will not support pcie 5.0, alder lake only has 5.0 to the x16 slot.
Can you try and fit an NH-D15 on there if you have one around?
is there a cmos battery on this motherboard?
Does it have a temp sensor header on it?
The manual is already available and no there's no temp sensor header. They had to use a riser card just to fit sata and the front panel header on the board.
Is this mini ITX motherboard able to produce 4k resolution on dual monitors?
This board only has a single hdmi port on the motherboard if you’re talking about running it without a dedicated gpu.
Can’t wait to get one of these and throw a 12900k on it
☹
Hey i loved the overview. I am considering this board to replace my 2013 bleeding edge desktop that is getting a bit long in the tooth.
really want to know the price of this board
$259.99
More like $429.99 now. Ouch.
I am ready to downsize to ITX!
Thinking about getting this and putting in a 13900k
Can you use DDR4 with this or is it DDR5 only?
Pumped for the new Intel chips!
I am glad i am off the pc train. I don't like the nvme stack or sandwich. I wonder how many heavy hand pc users are going to brake that.

ok...now cable manage this thing lol. nightmare
funny, I searched for an ASUS B590-I...
Google?
craft computing ;)
Very affordable!

I have had great success with this board. No issues with daughterboard either. 12700k/3080
tweezers.. HAH!
