The issue is sadly both lack handling, the turbo lag on the F40 is horrendous, it still has the same weight distribution issues (60/40, not 50/50 like claimed) as the 512TR and testerossa, and was of similar weight to the countach. None the less both cars are still masterpieces even for todays standards and timeless classics.

I would call it a safety feature more than anything :)

Not much will be left of the Ferrari and of other cars nearby. There is a reason, why they have built racing circuits for going that fast.

It's called the overtaking lane. You should only use it to overtake, then go back to the other lane.
