at certain conditions (around 50-60 mph) it just blows up to shitty pants sometimes during a normal drive mode. never happens in sport. it feels like it happens when it does a glitchy quick gear shift back and forth on the uneven wavy road. i can't imagine how that explosion sounds from the outside bc it's super loud from the inside. i feel bad for the people around when it happens but it's soooo cool
The Tow and go uses the SRT exhaust which is basically a 3" Catback addon for the 21 RTs. It also raised the peak hp output of the 3.6L equipped models to 300hp with an additional 5hp And to be honest that could just be an estimation by someone. However even if The difference was actually measured and not just estimated.... Well I think that the exhaust potentially might have gave over 5hp to the 3.6L. You see they also use a larger heavier alternator with the 300hp tow and go package too. And as we know a larger heavier rotating mass usually takes more energy to accelerate.
Thanks for the video. My local dealer just emailed about a customer ordered Tow & Go that the customer bailed on. I was wondering about the exhaust, and you answered my questions. Sounds great! Just have to decide if I like the Black/Radar Red interior on a Reactor Blue exterior.
Of course! That's why I'm here. Oh okay. Those blues are rare, I only saw it in person once. They stopped making them for 2022 so there's that. Curious to what color calipers 🤔. Oh, that's the red seats! Hmm, that's something to see in person. Would def look good with a darker blue I think

In a city city I average about 13. Highway about 16. If you heavy foot it you’ll probably see 15-16. All depends on the area in which you live and the type of driver you are haha

Honestly if you listen to a Durango Hellcat cold start and a tow n go, the tow n go sounds way better stock…crazy to believe!
