Does anybody in Starfleet ever actually get to COMPLETE shore leave? Either some emergency comes up or the shore leave BECOMES the emergency. The stress levels must be through the roof in this organization.

Really? People genuinely preferred this to the Klingon Civil War? After a while I just have to question the sanity of die hard fans of some of these sci fi franchises because, while indeed fun, these episodes were goofy as fuck and totally hollow.

Man when I saw Leeta I was like "oh no not you again." Gotta hand it to Cryptic's writers for really nailing the dread seeing our favorite Bajoran gremlin from across time and space.
I absolutely LOVE these new 25th century Starfleet interiors! The beautiful white and red, the lighting is much better, and overall it's probably my favorite aesthetic of any Star Trek production. Even beats my previous favorite, the Enterprise E.
The new interiors are definitely nice, but I wish they would start making them available in places other than just the new missions. Even Starfleet Academy got a facelift recently, but the only time you see the new map is in the Tutorial.

The artists and designers did so much work, but the rest don't put in the work to actually implement it because it doesn't provide anything they can profit from. Same reason why we might never see the tutorial bridge or new Enterprise F bridge for player ships.

I would recommend doing the TFOs that correlate with these episodes, since future episodes will reference back to them and they help smooth the episodes.

Yeah I started watching this a few months back, didn't get too far in before realizing I wanted to play this game and not spoil it for myself, so afterwards I only watched his vids after I'd done the missions and stuff myself. When I saw his Delta Quadrant stuff I was like.. wait, WHERE'S JANEWAY?! I'm glad they went back and added her to the older missions. It felt so much more nostalgic having her there.
Always love Captain Kumaki. She's perky, damned smart, more than willing to get into the thick of things. Her Mirrorverse counterpart is all of these things, and ruthlessly efficient to boot. Also I want to punch Mirrorverse Me in the face. No reason. Just sheer principle.
Mirrorverse me for some reason insists on using the most useless rifle in the Galaxy. Plink…plink…plink… Main Universe me carry’s enough firepower to lay waste to a planet in their pockets.

I mean, stop me if you've heard this one before, but a snarky old enemy shows up, demands to talk only to Hale, spins a story about the old enemy's rival back home cooking up a mysterious superweapon, and demands to come along to 'help' Hale take it down? Yeah, I'm totally sure this isn't some convoluted scheme to help Leeta settle a bunch of scores, elevate her position back home, and dump any blowback on Hale. This is far from the first time this exact situation has come up. Hell, it's not even the first time it's come up _recently._ Oh well, I guess at least Leeta didn't insult Hale's intelligence by asking for asylum or claim she'd seen the light and wanted to go straight.
About time Janeway showed up! That just leaves the questions of Picard and possibly Sisko. Incidentally, Rick, if you're going to do a new video on non-Cochrane FTL tech, there's the Inversion Drive from one of the novels in TOS. It also qualifies as a failed experiment, but with potential for bypassing the flaw that removed it from use. For the record, the novel in question is not based on an episode of TOS. Basically, the Inversion Drive is an Infinite Improbability Drive from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but it mucks about with deSitter spaces. Technically a success, but the implementation tested yielded the potential for what may as well be what the SCP Foundation calls a YK-Class End of the Universe scenario. Specifically, it introduced anti-entropy into the main universe, and life requires entropy. For visuals in a video with a segment about it, use stuff from the TNG episode "All Good Things...."because the "Anti-time" involved in the episode is quite similar, in my opinion.
.... Speaking of The SCP Foundation, what Mirror Leeta is saying about the scientists' opinions is that it could cause a ZK-Class Total Existence Failure scenario.
Been replaying older STO story lines, and while it won't be in your story line, it's nice the Janeway is in the delta rising, while the stories themselves are no different, you do report to her to turn in missions
Yo I adore classic Trek and I terrifically enjoyed STO when I was playing it from 2016 - 19 but I just don't have the time for it between the other games and the rest of living. I'm about to start this series from vid one today, and thanks so much for making it!
You would think that the Terrans would focus more on conquering their own universe before committing too many of their best forces and experimental resources to incursions into the Prime universe. Besides for the occasional data raid to get up to date with what technological and scientific advancement the Federation has come up with, they'd be able to have a lot more control of the situation in their own universe compared to the Prime universe, which is inhabited by a lot of very creative and resourceful people who the Terrans consistently underestimate.

I'm not sure about radiation, but big electric arcs like that give off a lot of ultraviolet light. The burn from that will make a Risian sunburn feel like a mother's hug.

My captain Ilya Te V'Ger has a passionate hatred for Mirrorleeta... So much so that she aquired a Hololeeta just to mock of the real one. Sadly i don't have space on my ship so she is stored next to Holojaneway and the MH1... To many prisoners to many prisoners...
I'm not sure about the STO timeline (which I think had Admiral Leeta messing around with time travel IIRC), but it seems like the Terrans were rebuilding and as of the current empire has went back to being violent (though with a Bajoran as Admiral and a Lukari scientist in high position I am not sure they are as xenophobic as earlier periods or if it is just convenience)

I've been following and very much enjoying your fighting Adml Mark Hale series, am really looking forward to more episodes when you have a minute. As you might possibly recognize from previous questions, I'm a bit of a firepower lover, especially when it comes to Starfleet designers finally getting the finger out in this particular area. Case in point, when Mark Hale's gorgeous Armature goes head on with something in a fight, it fires something that looks like a supped up version of the Defiant's iconic cannons. Would you care to explain to someone who is utterly hopeless at computer games? It would be so much fun to see the Federation win in a mine's bigger than yours contest! 😆
I believe at this time, I had equipped the Armiger with simple phaser arrays and pulse phaser cannons. However they can be overcharged with an ability provided by one of my officers, which is what you see in this video. Eventually however, I stripped out the cannons in favour of using more phaser arrays as it's not wise to split the equipment too wide, even if it looks cool. There was a different ship I used for a while that focused on pulse cannons, and could really create a massive barrage of fire, but that didn't suit the Armiger.
@@CertifiablyIngame That is a shame. I absolutely loved the way the Armiger would turn, take a bead on a target and suddenly one shot it with an incredibly satisfying blast of phaser energy. Still, looking forward to the Universal Alliance and somebody mentioning there was that annoying thing with dilithium but we fixed it, to Hale and he investigates in-time and makes sure it doesn't happen. The Discovery timeline gets branched and Star Trek STO continues in its own fun version of the Federation heading for the corners of the Galaxy, instead of stumbling for centuries.
I really did not like this mission chain for several reasons. One: visual bugs Two: they gave my character a voice Three: the kit sucks for my character Four: the scumbag Will Wheaton Five: Weasley Crusher Six: the monster Janeway (both universe versions). Seven: I really hate the defiant and was forced to use one while playing as the mirror universe counterpart of my character. And that's just the basic reasons I hate this chain. They are dragging it out far longer than they should be.
How is the Terran Emperor this reformed Empire? O'Brien, Beshear, Chakotay, Tom Paris, Harry Kim, Picard, Riker, Laforge, Ross, or maybe Eddington. I cood keep going but y'all get what I'm saying.

I really did not like this mission chain for several reasons.
One: visual bugs
Two: they gave my character a voice
Three: the kit sucks for my character
Four: the scumbag Will Wheaton
Five: Weasley Crusher
Six: the monster Janeway (both universe versions).
Seven: I really hate the defiant and was forced to use one while playing as the mirror universe counterpart of my character.
And that's just the basic reasons I hate this chain.
They are dragging it out far longer than they should be.
How is the Terran Emperor this reformed Empire? O'Brien, Beshear, Chakotay, Tom Paris, Harry Kim, Picard, Riker, Laforge, Ross, or maybe Eddington. I cood keep going but y'all get what I'm saying.
Remove Harry Kim from this list.
