The Inquisitor with all the other stuff is actually quite the formidable boss battle. It was also cool to see Mirror Defiant, Mirror Voyager, & a Mirror Enterprise all in the same place/mission. In the case of Voyager, that may be the 1st time a Hero ship fought its mirror version.
It's a bit sad to think that this wonderfully executed series will soon be running low on new STO content. I've enjoyed these weekly episodes immensely. But at the same time I look forwards to whatever new adventures await.
I'd like to think that Mirror Janeway had something to do with the lack of shooting from ISD, while she was busting out with the Mirror Voyager Warship.
I know this channels was based on playing Star Trek online's story, but seeing as your about to meet up with the newest missions, I'd honestly love to see this channel branch out to other Sci-fi stories like this...Such as the many stories of SWTOR, that would be amazing to see your take on the stories in that world
There is an order glitch that happens when facing Kumarkee, Tilly and the inquisitor. You have to take out Kumarkee first then Tilly then the inquisitor else the battle drags on indefinitely.
I played this mission yesterday, and I _hated_ that fight. Not because of the mechanics, but because all the different visual effects on the screen made it impossible to see the prompts I needed to follow. That said, I like this series of missions so far.
The Mirror Universe response to the Kirk Incident was to change their transporter frequencies. This lead them to become more advanced than the Prime Universe in that particular regard, according to Mirror Spock in a conversation with Kirk in beta content novels involving the Mirror Voyager attempting to replace the Prime Voyager, and yes, Picard is involved. No more spoilers here.
My first thought seeing mirror me was "this guy is such a smug looking asshole" when he beamed in. As the story progressed, I admit he came off more as a pragmatist, putting the good of the empire above his own ties, just like my Discovery Era Captain does for the Federation. It was honestly one of my favorite parts.
Right, I feel like they should have written differently, so that Mirror Hale and his clique aren’t actually defeated, but merely slowed down or held off someway. Still entertaining nonetheless.
I loved doing these missions as a summoner styled borg character, had lots of my buddies plodding around attacking with the towers i could summon from one of the loot boxes, makes it oh so easy

I feel like a "Terran Goodbye" is related to the C.o.D Martyrdom perk, where you leave the person who gets you with a nice little suprise that becomes a big messy suprise very quickly, and is a lot of clean up for someone elses underlings.
This has been a really enjoyable story series and I'm loving this run in the mirror universe, where you face your mirror self. Makes me wonder though, did thr terran Empire destroy the Klingon, Cardassian alliance or are they still about.
Prime V'Ger and Mirror V'Ger face off in an epic battle using Doomsday Machines as lightsabers, all while "Duel of the Fates" plays on all hailing frequencies.

It seems to me Vgeer didn't occur in the mirror verse as it did in standard universe. My guess is that the information on Ilea is to get control of Vgeer and use it as a weapon in both universes so the emperor rules all ( ie can you say megalomaniac)
I find it interesting that Marshall Janeway has Seven's implants. I'm wondering if there's a backstory there, like instead of Seven joining Voyager, they scrapped her for parts.
It's kinda a thing that every mirror variant of Janeway has been experimenting with Borg tech. Current prodigy mirror Janeway has the augments but strangely is not as bloodthirsty as Martial Janeway.
I'm actually looking forward to what the Marshall is going to do to Kumarke and all the others. I can def see her making them, lets say part of her Collective. Now that Ilia is awake the meat of this adventure will be starting. The question is who is the other and what's the danger they present. I'd take odds since we have our Ilia back her opposite is the one she's mentioning. Yeah some Cosmic shenanigans are about to ensue.

Im just surprised the universe hasnt spontaneously exploded or the tyranids havent shown up, one Mark Hale is usually enough to start a war or three and alter the timeline, two meeting each other face to face should cause something truly catastrophic.

considering the Terran Empire's warlike nature... their planetary defence is just as terrible as the Federations. If I had to defended my homeworld then I would take a book out the 40k rulebook. An overkill of orbital defence stations, minefields, orbital and land base antiship emplacements and a fleet numbering between 20-30 capital ships and six times the numbers of escorts and patrol craft. And if a station was being assisted out system, no way in hell is anyone landing anywhere else in system!
Terran philosophy seems to be "if you conquer them they can't conquer you back." Any ship guarding the core planets isn't out conquering new territory, and is therefore not being used efficiently. And I thought _our_ Federation burned through a lot of ships fast.
The Terrans may have taken a lesson from B5, and realized that such defenses can potentially get taken over and used *against* them. Especially by their own people.
@@VulpisFoxfire Excellent point. Promotion by assassination seems to be a popular way to get ahead in the Empire. I'm sure their Jorel Quinn didn't get where he is by playing nice, and I'm sure the Emperor knows better than to give him the keys to an orbital arsenal.
No offense, but 40k space defenses are pretty bad. You described Terra, not an average planet. Vraks, Armageddon, Pearlia, Gria, and many others barely have defenses.

To be fair, the field *was* spread over a much larger area than usual.
Last month Hale was in Gre'thor. Short trem exposure to an agonizer is probably not as bad in comparison.
