According to Pablo, the song proves that the group is “not just here to play games or act cool.” “A lot of people still doubt us, denouncing everything that we do and everything that we're trying to achieve. We love what we do, that's why we do it respectfully. ‘What?’ is about self-love and empowerment. Each of us has our own flag. We should be proud of it and raise it as much as we can. As SB19 and as individuals, we know that we're not the best at everything, but that shouldn't stop us from what we want to achieve." -SB19, PABLO, On his interview at Rappler This song is indeed a meaningful one. A sequel to their masterpiece Go Up. Pablo, in the first part, implies that their story had begone, and they won't stop striving towards their goals which is to internationally break into the music scene representing the Philippines. He also said that even though we think we're not the best at everything it must not impede us from achieving things. Ken portrays that wherever they go, they will bring their mistakes, experiences along with them. And promises to keep their feet on the ground, a reflection of how humble they are. Fact: Pablo, the lyricist, had on his pin tweet the line I will bring my garbage along with me. Justin depicts that the windows had finally opened up for them, which represents the opportunities that welcoming them. He stated that they were finally there, they have been recognized by the people and that he was grateful for not giving up before. Stell's part illustrates that we must always believe that everything we lose will far be greater with the blessings that will be lying ahead. Josh represents that it matters not if you are different; If what they are doing was unusual, knowing that people had doubted them. He said that it was better to be different than going with the bandwagon, judging others. 20'20 implies a perfect vision but not utilizing it to see the bigger picture. The chorus, well, it can have two distinct but interrelated interpretation. Raising our own flag, and raising the flag of the Philippines as they dominate the world. Nonetheless, they owe it all to the Almighty, and whatever they are achieving, It's all because of him. They are indeed worth to stan. With the majestic MV, a meaningful and inspiring masterpiece. Talented individuals who wrote, choreograph and have a creative director within them, their visuals were just a bonus. I can't wait to see them on a bigger stage! World Domination, let's go. This is just one of the many interpretations, so go and let us listen to the song again. And let it be a reminder that once we believe in ourselves, and in Him, nothing is impossible in achieving our dreams. We must endure everything, including the suffering and so we will obtain all the blessings we deserve. Fact: They feature at the end of the MV the most important map of the Philippines, the 1734 Murillo Velarde map - named after its cartographer Jesuit priest Pedro Murillo Velarde - defined in vivid detail the territory of the country nearly 300 years ago. ctto
Stan SB19. They are the 1st PPOP Group trained under a Korean company that branched out here in the Philippines. The one who with highlights on his hair was Pablo the leader the one who wrote their songs including WHAT❓. The second one is Ken, the main dancer of the group with a low and husky voice. The third one was Justin the youngest in the group, the director of their MV. Next was Stell, the heavenly voice in tge group who can belt HIGH NOTES. (You should listen to their ballad song Tilaluha and Hanggang sa Huli.) and the last one who wear glasses was Josh the main rapper of the group.
Thank you y to all international artists for appreciating Filipino talents & thank you for including SB19 🙏we A’tin (18) really appreciated 🥰 #SB19 SB19
I loved how Nicky put honest opinions. He said things that needed to be improved and it very well appreciated. P.S. The change in melody and tempo on SB19's song is intentional to put emphasis on each members individuality.
Thank you for reacting our SB19's music video, we really appreciate it. SB19 are the first PPop group to be trained in Korea Music Industry for almost 3-4 years. Raise your flag for who and what you are!! ❤❤🇵🇭
I hope that these artist will have more exposure and support from their own country because they are all so talented and they deserve the recognition. Tho Sb19 have already made a noise globally and they're at the peak of their careers , they are literally out there but for some reason Filipinos are sleeping on them. I think that if only filipinos can totally support these groups Like how they supported kpops and other foreign artist they will surely be pushed to the top. Filipinos are very dedicated supporters we all know that.
Swerving away from formulaic tricks and pandering to trends, SB19 took song-writing and production to another level, almost impossible to be categorized in one genre. In a statement, the band’s main rapper and lead vocalist Pablo shares that “The song ‘What?’ is really different from what we have done before. This one has a more aggressive take to it compared to our previous songs.
THANK YOU FOR APPRECIATING SB19 THEIR HARDWORK. A LOT OF FOREIGN REACTORS ARE IMPRESSED & EVEN CRY BECAUSE THEY KNEW THE STORY OF SB19 BEFORE REACHING THIS PINNACLE & IT'S JUST STARTING. BILLBOARD & MTV IS JUST THE BEGINNING HELLO HOLLYWOOD!

Wow the juans, ylona and sb19..thank you so much for this line up..they all deserve to be recognize globally just like other famous filipino musicians.😇🥰💙💙💙 much love from A'TIN ph.
What❓ MV is uncharacteristic, unexpected, & unusual for SB19.. for me, it's their grandest MV to date. There's a lot of things happening in the course of 5 mins but surprisingly everything worked out well: the genre that are mixed together, the elements, the sound itself, the wardrobe, the story and context.. It's supposed to be like that 'cause that's the plan. 😎
WELCOME TO THE FILIPINO REALM, THANKS FOR REACTING TO OUR FILIPINO ARTIST, EXPLORE MORE OF THEM, YOU WILL BE MINDBLOWN AND ADMIRE THEM MORE. GOD BLESS US ALL
The different melodies in the song is the MESSAGE of the song itself. One interpretation is about raising our flag, about our individuality. Each melody represents a member. For example, the boy with a hat (nature scene), his part is hopeful and light. That melody represent him, cause he is a literal ball of sunshine, jolly and he is warm. The one with trashes is someone who is deep, silent and has a deep personality, the dark theme on the song represents him.
Agree, I was waiting for it then got sad cause it was cut😔 Anyway thank you. But if you have time @el'splanet can you upload the whole reaction vid for sb19
The sample song by each artist reactors sounds so good. I would most probably search for it later. Good Luck to all artists and aspiring artists out there~
Thank you for reacting to OPM, I feel proud and happy to see people appreciate so much about the music from our country, they're all very meaningful and beautiful, Please listen to it more
12:53 That guy in orange ia genius! Pablo did told the Music Producer to make the song sounds like "We Will Rock You"!!! Ang ganda po ng mga kanta ng mga reactors (^_^) Minsan talaga, napapaisip ako kung paano mo nakukuha ang lahat ng reactors. Very Diverse. From Filipinos to Asians to Americans to Europeans to Africans to every body! Either you have lots of connections or you're just naturally friendly. (^_^) 19:06 "Chord Progressions, Melody, Song Writing" Ang talino ni Kuya. Kuya El, salamat po talaga for promoting OPM. Pwede po mag request? Baka po pwede niyo pong gawan ang ALAMAT - K BYE? Beke nemen powx. Hehe Salamat po in advance!!!
Yes they are handled by a korean entertainment but for this music video, the music was produced by filipinos including the leader of the group who composed the song, their main vocal and a recognized dancer/choreo were the ones who made the choreo and the creative director is also a member of the group and even the production team were all filipinos I dunno if its just me, but I hope people will stop comparing them to kpop(which is impossible) because they are trying to build their own sound and image as a group. But I appreciate the artists' reaction, just want to voice that out. 😊
i saw one of your videos, and hoped that you could introduce sb19 to others, and then i found this. thank you so much❤️❤️❤️ i love their reactions, and it somehow adds confidence to a'tin, that we can really fight with the giants, because sb19 deserves recognition of the world
I like shaquillereyes... He's so cute... Like i like his impression about how refreshing was how the chord progression and tempo transition... I have encountered too many pieces like classical music has those and time signature changes. There's so much happening in that what composition...
SB19 and THE JUANS are Basically best friends!!! These two groups together in one setting...chaos!!! Best believe ATIN (SB19 FANDOM) will be checking out your music!
Love that at the last is sb 19.. Thats the thrilling part and the exciting one.. And their view about sb 19 im happy and very proud coz they can relates tonit.and the song mv what is right in its time. U know the message is for everyone
I am proud, as a Filipino. And as a superb fan of The Juans, a fellow supporter of Ylona Garcia since Bailey(...sorry hahaahahaha)and a proud supporter of SB19. I AM SINCERELY PROUD.
Thank you for checking SB19's latest single ❓This song is about self empowerment. You notice that it was a question mark on the flag on the mv because each one of us ha a different struggle. We just have to raise our pwn flav prpudly.
I love SB19. What MV is so symbolic. Double words play. Raise our flag without bullets. They wrote the lyrics and sounds by Pablo. Choreography was by Stell. MV director was Justin. They did that themselves. They are all very talented. Great singers and dancers.
SB19 fandom called A'TIN ( pronounce as 18) Explanation the name of fandom: A- stands for AURUM the first name of SB19 fandom ( before the fandom is no name..so the fans decide to have a name we came up with that Name aurum until SB19 give the fandom an official name and that's A'TIN). Another meaning: A'TIN- SB19 said there's no 19 without 18..and if you pronounce it in tagalog is ATIN in english "OURS" all the achievements they have is for everyone.😊 Ahm i want to add this about the name of the group..SB19 SB- is the initial name of their company which is ShowBt since they are the first artist produce by the company they want to use that name and about the number which is 19 that is the country code..south korea +82 and the philippines +63 if you add the number like this 8+2+6+3=19 they did this to show respect both countries. Complicated but they are always like this😅😅 to make bleeding our braincells like they did in their song WHAT❓we always Make theories because of them but it's a good thing coz we learn from it. I hope I helped with the information I provided.

it's so frustrating how filipinos tend to not appreciate things because they think it's "cRiNge"
Definitely....like come on Filipinos wake up....

According to Pablo, the song proves that the group is “not just here to play games or act cool.”
“A lot of people still doubt us, denouncing everything that we do and everything that we're trying to achieve. We love what we do, that's why we do it respectfully. ‘What?’ is about self-love and empowerment. Each of us has our own flag. We should be proud of it and raise it as much as we can. As SB19 and as individuals, we know that we're not the best at everything, but that shouldn't stop us from what we want to achieve."
-SB19, PABLO, On his interview at Rappler
This song is indeed a meaningful one.

I like that the reactors are also song writers and artists themselves which makes their opinion more credible
I think lead rapper po si Josh😅 si Pablo po 'yung main rapper...
Thanks for checking out our PPop Kings 👑🇵🇭

Thanks for always supporting #SB19.
I loved how Nicky put honest opinions. He said things that needed to be improved and it very well appreciated.
P.S. The change in melody and tempo on SB19's song is intentional to put emphasis on each members individuality.

I'm A'tin (SB19 fan) and I appreciate this!!!

SB19 my Kings💙
The Juans my fav boy bands⭐
Ylona my girl crush💫
Swerving away from formulaic tricks and pandering to trends, SB19 took song-writing and production to another level, almost impossible to be categorized in one genre. In a statement, the band’s main rapper and lead vocalist Pablo shares that “The song ‘What?’ is really different from what we have done before. This one has a more aggressive take to it compared to our previous songs.
Indeed.
Unique, vey Filipino style (Angst), Punky, Grungy, Gothic, Nostalgic, Legendary, Edgy, International Anthem, Art Trailblazer!

Thanks for the good feedback for Ylo's song "All That" 😘🤗🤗
WELCOME TO THE FILIPINO REALM, THANKS FOR REACTING TO OUR FILIPINO ARTIST, EXPLORE MORE OF THEM, YOU WILL BE MINDBLOWN AND ADMIRE THEM MORE.

these artists' songs are songs i vibe with wow. indie artists really hit different
My mind and heart is freaking out rn.... hahahaha ylona garcia since PBB... The Juans and SB19...
I love that El putting the singers and their work in the intro. More of these please..
Dang its a bummer we didnt see their reaction to Josh's Part and the Dance Break, I hope theres a part 2

Proud pinoy ! Congrats SB19 !
Proud A’TIN ! And also thankyou for appreciating Filipino Music :)

SB19 fandom called A'TIN ( pronounce as 18)
Explanation the name of fandom:
A- stands for AURUM the first name of SB19 fandom ( before the fandom is no name..so the fans decide to have a name we came up with that Name aurum until SB19 give the fandom an official name and that's A'TIN).
Another meaning:
A'TIN- SB19 said there's no 19 without 18..and if you pronounce it in tagalog is ATIN in english "OURS" all the achievements they have is for everyone.😊
Ahm i want to add this about the name of the group..SB19
SB- is the initial name of their company which is ShowBt since they are the first artist produce by the company they want to use that name and about the number which is 19 that is the country code..south korea +82 and the philippines +63 if you add the number like this 8+2+6+3=19
they did this to show respect both countries.
Complicated but they are always like this😅😅 to make bleeding our braincells like they did in their song WHAT❓we always Make theories because of them but it's a good thing coz we learn from it.
I hope I helped with the information I provided.
