Hi Warren, What a great trip that was and brought back some memories for me too!! Its about 45 years since I would have last travelled on the Ffestiniog. Been back several times looking at the old cine film though!! I also remember climbing high above the Llyn Stwlan reservoir to have a look at the mine adits Amazing what they have done with the engines and the line as a whole. Very atmospheric in the misty conditions. Well done!! All the best!!
The area is full of history. Lots of stone workings, mines and construction of the reservoirs etc. I tried to video the best bits of the line but it was tricky with just a camera out the window. Thank you for following along and adding your comment. Cheers, Warren :)
It was no brighter when you came out of the tunnel with that weather Warren. Quite an intrigueing track that one definitely hugs the edges. I'll leave it for you to pronounce those names mate. Bushyboy Oz.
Some of the gaps were very very tight! I had to be careful sticking my GoPro out the window! And the names - I had a go but some I find difficult. Cheers, Warren :)
Hey Evo, thanks for commenting again, I appreciate it. My Garden Railway is still very much there I just have a backlog of videos to continue to edit and get out. This trip to the Ffestiniog was about 3 months ago! I have had autumn gardening work to attend to but in the next few weeks I will be back on the Garden Railway development projects again. Cheers, Warren :)
