Hi Warren, the afternoon of ales looked absolutely perfect! The pie and mash looked great too! Can't go wrong with pie, mash and a few pints. I had been trying to do that for for my birthday a good few years in a row but always fell through. Loved the bit of history on the pubs too. Great! Cheers mate!

Great day accomplished with tired sore feet. Beautiful scenery makes the adventure more worthwhile. Those cattle with the whit strip could be Belted Galloways not sure as we don't have them here to my knowledge. Onwards and upwards guys. Bushyboy Oz.

What a lot of food for one! Looked nice though, id rather prep the food at home and just cook it at camp. Youd be well advised to wash the brand new pans before use as they have production residue chemicals on them 😬

That meal looked enormous but fair play you ate most of it. It almost looked as if you had dug a 4ft trench at 17 minutes and appeared to be stood up inside your tent 🙃🍄

Sadly the majority of the pubs on this are full of the entirely cloned unoriginal hipster bores. There are a few normal boozers left but they probably won’t like being filmed. The Dundee was a run down but good old boozer. Sadly now full of repetitive trendies who actually think they are unique. And priced accordingly. I can think of a brilliant pub in the area which obviously I won’t be naming on here !

Looks great for me. I prefer stone for the buildings, and bricks for the platforms, but it's my preferences not yours 😉 On my garden railway, I use glass microscope slides for the windows, because polycarbonate (plexiglass or rhodoïd) opacifiate outdoors.

At the time of making this comment I came here today and also did the driver for a fiver!

Part way through. Quite annoyed that the South Downs National Park Authority didn't mark the diversion a the bottom of Butser Hill. You held your temper better than I probably would have!

Nice work. It ain't easy. For our SM32 line we used Foamalux (expensive, but we used to obtain off cuts), that can be carved and easily cut. Also resin cast buildings. Most don't get left out during winter. Don't forget and adhesives need to be frost proof too, as do the buildings themselves.

Who would think there's so much thought required to put together these station models with all their intricacies. You have to wear so many hats Warren it surely is a labour of love. This will be worth seeing. Bushyboy Oz.

Another hikealogue epic from Warren the history buff. Can't follow why Dan skakes his head smiles and goes away when you dissitate your facts mate.. lol. Awesome scenery classic hamlets on the waterways what's not to like on this adventure of a lifetime. You both cover different elements f the journey so we end up with a huge overall picture. Used to live in Swanage for 8 years used to help out in the cafe when it was in Swanage now in Corfe Castle now living in Darlington the home to the worlds first public steam train service between Sheldon and Stockton but still miss those Swanage and railway with the area it’s in

Good video Warren Nice with a few quick beers, less to carry then having 3 pints😁 I wouldn't worry about the colour on the ponchos, if packs small and works who cares. Weather looked grim. Bad year for hikers and campers. Doesn’t stop you stop you though. I need to get a decent pillow like you got. Good tip on the custard warming it up in the water👍 Liked that and will do that myself soon. Good video. Hopefully you'll have more views and sun for future camps. Cheers Warren👍

Thank you for this - brought back memories of a visit some years ago, when I marvelled not only at the beautiful buildings and tableaux, but also how the trees and shrubs were perfectly in proportion - I imagine there was a lot of horticultural skill to achieve that effect. And, having watched a few of your garden railway series, you would know just how much expertise required to get that complicated layout operating so smoothly.

The first 2 pubs were using plastic glasses for those drinking inside, that would have me jogging on I'm afraid. Lemonade in a plastic cup yes but not the Lords own juice of the barley..

This sort of video brings back a lot of nostalgia from years gone by when we were kids. On your first quick pan APSE AIR looked like arse air so I immediately thought flying by the seat of their pants .. lol. Something uniquely different with this thanks Warren. Bushyboy Oz.

Charming modelling and bonsai type gardening, looks very close to scale, just lovely. Thanks for sharing 👍✌️💜😊 I always loved Bourton on the Water's version (and the nearby model shop and its exhibition layout). In the early 2000s, I also got to visit Bekonscot as I had tentative links with some who worked/maintained the railway etc (and the Garden Railway TV series). That's a remarkable model and railway, well worth a look. Im also reminded of my childhood and Tucktonia circa 1976, marvellous fun. Journeys down to the South Coast often also included trips to Bournemouth Station, Salisbury Station too. Watching the noisy, at times scary, but wonderful, Class 33s entralled me - I started weathering my models, aged 7, after I saw how dirty the real railways were. Then there was model yacht sailing, crazy golf in Bournemouth - oh and long performances from Ken Dodd in the evening (his humour seemed to transcend and cater for all age groups). Happy times💜💜👍😊
