Randy, That could be a buy here pay here GPS tracker used to Track the car in case people didnt make their overinflated payments so they could reacquire the car. Or its a fleet tracker

Great video Randy. I absolutely love the colour on the Impala, it is amazing. Such a shame that there are some nasty people out there who think it’s perfectly acceptable to leave an illegal tracking device in someone else’s car, that is truly despicable. I am seriously impressed with the work done at the Austospa as well, he is a true professional who deserves major credit for removing most of the nastiness inside the Impala as well.
Love the Impala, we used to get them regularly as a hire car when we came to the USA. That blue colour is gorgeous 👍

My Uncle had a Vette similar to that. Rode in the back part under the back windows when i was about 4 or 5 yrs old.
They did a good job on the trunk trying to get it clean 👍
Fam for the oil paint that's in the trunk of your car, it's very easy to remove just use gasoline or kerosene and let it soaked for 15-20 minutes and then brush it off with water that's it. If you didn't know kerosene oil or gasoline are great for the removing off oil paints.

Randy, it's a hot spot, also the trunk leak is the tail light seals there's a updated seals that are thicker that fixes the leak
I had a similar trunk leak on my Honda Accord the problem was that water was leaking in through the inner tail light housings. I got a good used pair and replaced them myself (easy job just a few hex nuts held them in place).

i agree impala trunk is bad. luckily my 2003 tahoe has real size spare tire. sometimes detailers is a good idea. wow it went black to blue.

I had a neighbor a young guy, well younger than me. He did drywall taping and mudding, he never wanted a truck only a car to haul his tools pails of joint compound in and of course they would get trashed, the last cari found for him was my girlfriends boss's car, she was a secretary at an accounting firm, the car was a 1985 crown Vic two door, he drove it awhile then it needed a head gasket which i did, he literally drove that car to death, he was also in a ban so he used it to carry his bass and amp, later on he got married then he got a ford ranger.

Hey randy, Impala great Car get that LTZ you recently saw. I had one the leak in trunk if it comes back is the tail light gaskets just in case they didn't leave the trunk open.. Fantastic Car these Impalas! DUH I should have watched the whole video..LOL!

It's hard to cheap a car clean when you have a gravel road. We used to cover the classic cars with blankets. The daily drivers and motorcycles were just always dirty.

Someone had road rage with my dad and the sync 3 system said unknown Bluetooth Device trying to pair, he was able to turn it completely off and gunned it to 130 in heavy rain and was able to swing around a corner, his words were he saw the truck fishtailing trying to follow him around the corner, after he got away he went right to the Ford dealership to have the car factory reset to clear the cache just in case

That trailer should be wired to be able to charge the winch battery off one of the 7 pins on the power connector for the trailer. One of those pins should have continuous power to the winch battery.
A lot of used car dealers and finance companies put cellular GPS trackers on financed vehicles. I have come across them before in the junk yard,
That pretty blue is called Blue Velvet metallic.
that is a gps tracker used in fleets and rentals mostly but i can see some guy or gal putting it in their partners car if they have suspicion of nefarious actions

That Tracker, it all depends on if it was active and charged, if somebody was truly tracking you.
