How To Make The BEST Mob Spawner Farm!

- Minecraft 1.21 adds a lot of new features and enchantments which you can get from villagers. And the best way of doing this is by getting rotten flesh from a mob spawner farm to trade and this video explains exactly how to do so!

You don’t have to light up, that doesn’t improve your rates at all. A spawner is not actually dependent on the mob cap being free. It will spawn mobs at the same rate regardless. Doesn’t hurt to light up caves, it’s just not actually improving your spawner.
I was going to comment this but you beat me to it!
See back in the day I heard you had to light up caves😭
@@Drewski559 it will help literally all your farms that rely on natural mob spawning, so it’s not a terrible idea either way.
Like the reason that helps is because if you have a farm relying on natural mob spawning, but there’s mobs in caves taking up the cap, your farm will be less efficient, or sometimes even stop completely, because it can’t make use of the entire amount of mobs that can exist at any one time. Mob spawners ignore this cap, spawning a number of mobs at regular intervals regardless.
Hmm, but why does my spawner generate spiders very slowly, sometimes only 1 after like 20s
@@oyaoya5200 every 20 seconds is normal, only 1 mob can be a number of things. It could be the whole area isn’t dark enough so doesn’t have enough space, you haven’t given the spawner enough space in the first place, or you aren’t moving the spiders out of range of the spawner.
If it’s not any of those idk, those are all the reasons I’ve had that problem.
Personally on bedrock I mine out a room and then make a drop chute under the spawner directly. Then I put water in the corners
Idk if you’ll see this but can you do a gunpowder farm??
@@speedyslayer8570he did do a gp farm idk the link but go through his vids and look (if you want)
@@speedyslayer8570it's way slower on bedrock
@@speedyslayer8570a normal farm up in the air on the plains terrain will get u sm gunpowder w a lootin sword i pretty much blew up the whole nether and got most set of netherite w trims
To make the farm more efficient DO NOT place a slab on top of the spawner. Instead place a glass block two blocks above the spawner. Thank me later👍🏼
Out of curiosity why
@@Neevkl_7it’s mainly for skeletons but it allows mobs to spawn there but will get pushed down I believe
@@ifd.rhys76mobs cant spawn on glass pretty sure
For skeleton yess but in zombie spawn a baby can spawn which will not fall
You can also put a campfire on the hopper to make it afk
Cool btw stuff like this works on bedrock but ones with out spawners are SO slow
Except bedrock doesn’t have sweeping edge
@@Ginguaoh no the whole farm is broken now… oh wait it’s not
@@alexv6119 is just less efficient
quality highly depends on where you want the zombies cuz for some players below the spawner or directly in the middle of the wall may be a better place to put your killing chamber also being closer to the spanner as opposed to being further guarantees that the mobs will spawn so don't dig even further down
instead of doing 6 blocks down, i advise u do around 23 so the mobs are one hit
Too far from the spawner for it to work.
If you want to drop mobs 23 blocks you'll have to make a bubble elevator and then drop them.
The mob spawner has a spherical radius of only 16 blocks, inside which a player needs to be present in order for the spawner to activate. If you go too far down then the spawner will not be active and you won't get any mobs
Tutorial helped me, thank you warned a sub too
There is also one with hole right below the spawner block amd just need 4 water source from each corner. Make it 9x9 with the spawner block in the middle
The best way is to use a campfire. I have my skeleton spawner on a light switch. I turn it on and I can afk or keep busy in the base and it just runs and runs. The campfire is on a switch so it can be used two different ways. In short, the "Best" would be a campfire, lights and redstone.
You all have a wonderful day!
Thats not how a spawner works
1. You need to be within 16 blocks for a spawner to work
2. The whole point of a spawner farm is XP and sometumes for the drops, and you need a player kill for XP and looting effect to maximize drops
I had a double spawner xp farm on my last world but I made a new world since I had everything and can’t really build let alone mega structures so I like starting over lol
U can also just not farm this and make a diffrent xp farm all together
THX
Torching the area shouldn't do anything to the rates as the dungeon spawners aren't affected by the mob cap. They'll just keep spitting them out.
Isnt theee a limit to how many mobs spawn from a spawner before it breaks?
good old days
Me: goes out at night to slap mobs 🤣🤣
Screw this, build a full size nether portal and a thing to turn it on and off. Or even multiple portals if you're Java. Water to bring them to you. Now you have gold and rotten flesh.
Can you do a tutorial for Spiders/Cave Spiders
Thank you for tell me spawner need exp
also on bedrock?
Yes
Yes but you should make a trident killer at the bottom so it can auto kill mobs

Bro you can find a sponer in your spon seed ..1431831130929889 seed minecraft
Gnembon flushing mob farm >
why my mob spawner has only a little bit to spawn? it spawn around 2 zombies
If you have caves around the spawner, light up those areas.
@@mattnerdy7236 oh thanks buddy
@@mattnerdy7236that doesn’t help, spawners always spawn at the same rate regardless of the mob cap. Other mob farms that rely on natural spawning will be helped by this, but not spawner based farms.
What’s likely happening here is the area around the spawner isn’t completely dark, so doesn’t have room to spawn the max amount.
@@mattnerdy7236That doesn't matter as it's a spawner it's independent of regular mob spawning.
How far are you from the spawner?
Whats the purpose of putting slab on top of the spawner?
So mobs don’t spawn on top of the spawner and just fall directly into the water
Best video
They dont spawn unless i am right next to the spawner
yes you have to be in a close radius
How can we make it more efficient so that the mobs can be one hit after they fall because if we dig more then the spawner doesnt work
youd have to push them up with a bubble elevator and have them fall back down
They need to fall 19 blocks so water elevator then drop them down to u 19 blocks they should be one hit then
This is absolutely NOT the best spawner farm I guess. Because the slab on top of the spawner will allow spawning on top of it and could reduce rates if the mob does not jump down. Spawners spawn mobs in the air blocks, not on solid blocks. The drop shaft should be more than 6 blocks to remove the mobs from the spawner’s area to allow faster rates. It’s even better to drop them far way down BEFORE washing them by water sideways. Lighting up the caves does not help in the spawn rates because the mobs from the spawner does not count into the mob cap. This farm will work, but will not be at top efficiency due to those factors.
I made one with slab as well on top and it works perfectly. The difference is that I put water on each corners so the mob would drop right below the spawner since I made the hole right in the middle within 9x9 area
4x4x4 😂😂😂
Brother that’s not how you read off volume.
we need a creeper mob spawner
no we dont
