- Today I am sharing what I packed my three oldest kids in their lunch for school.

What a fun idea with the pancakes with syrup for lunch! I think I will try that in my work lunch. Hope you are all enjoying the March Break and hope Miss Daisy will feel better soon!

Thanks, Angela. The kids love when I send them with pancakes, something a little different. They are having a great March break so far. Now we just need to get Daisy on the mend. Her surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. Have a great weekend. 😊

Pajama day would be my choice too! Thankfully they bumped Daisys surgery up to tomorrow. I can't wait for her to have this behind her.
Looks yummy, as always! Have a wonderful week with the kids! Day trips, hikes, the beach (even if it is cold)...fun stuff to help them expend their energy! Would love to see videos of your time together, if you are willing to share. I understand if you want to keep that private, though!
Thanks Carol, the kids are having a great week so far. We've done playgrounds, bowling, swimming. Lots of fun things. The kids made a list of activities they wanted to do this week, amd we've been checking them off. Have a great weekend. 😊

You might try cooking your pork chops in the oven. Just cover with a lid or foil and cook at 300° for 2-3 hours depending on the thickness of your meat. I brown mine first, but that is just a personal choice.
Thanks Jean, that's typically how I make them too! I like to cook them low and slow so they are tender. I also cook them in the crockpot. 😊
Poor Daisy!! We had a pet that kept getting bladder stone when he was 3 years old. He had 3 surgeries. We put him on urinary tract food and filtered water. He lived another 9 years.
That is encouraging news to hear. This will be Daisy's second time. She had stones two years ago. I will have to switch Daisy's food, and hope for the same outcome. The vet suggests Royal Canin S/O. Do you remember what food you used by chance?
@@mominthemaritimes We used several different kinds over the years. But the last couple of years we used Royal Canin also. Ours didn't like the moist food, so it was dry food from there on out. We would get some of the treats that were safe for him to have. I believe they were Royal Canin. The vet stressed the importance of the filtered water since we have limestone in our water. I sure hope Miss Daisy gets some relief very soon.
Another great week of lunches for the kids, good healthy foods. Happy to hear you are able to find some of the Costco items locally now, that will be a help. Sweet Ben trying to explain why he didn't finish the broccoli, I would have asked for dip with mine. Audrey was funny when it came to the celery in her tuna, but she persevered and took out what she didn't like and ate the rest. Jacob is your best eater, but I'll bet Emily will be a good eater, she's always so interested in the kids lunches. Prayers for a safe surgery for Daisy, vet bills are always so high, but our pets are family and we hate to see them suffer. Hi Tania, I was proud that Audrey ate her tuna sandwich that day. I was happy that she picked out what she didn't like but still ate the sandwich. Jacob has always been an excellent eater. Emily eats more than me some days I think! Lol I was surprised Ben didn't want dip with the broccoli, I don't enjoy raw broccoli.
I will be glad when Daisy has her surgery, it's been a rough couple of weeks for her (and us). She had this same surgery two years ago, so hoping this is the last time. The kids are having a great spring break so far, even though they've been battling some sickness.
I've been enjoying getting Costco snacks. The price is higher because they have to pay to bring the items here and there's no membership required, but it's nice to have the option. I hope you're getting settled in your new home and things are going well! ❤️😊
Awwwww...poor Daisy 😢 isn't it insane how much the vet costs?? But ya gotta do it... she's so stinking cute too...hope she gets better fast!❤❤❤

I found your channel a few months ago (maybe around the time you posted the video about Audrey's heart surgery?) and have enjoyed watching your videos. I hope Daisy's surgery goes well. I'm from Texas but I'll be visiting Nova Scotia this summer on vacation. I'm really looking forward to the trip. I've never been there.
