I hope one day soon I get to watch the snow fall in person and then hear the crunch under my boots, nothing better. It was so sweet to hear Audrey say she can smell the Spring in the fresh air. I noticed that Ben is doing so much better eating his lunches and adding soup from the cafeteria when it is offered, that's so great. Jacob seemed so happy to have had his field trip, I remember enjoying them too when I was young. I can't believe its already Easter this coming Sunday, it came so fast, I might have totally missed it if my daughter hadn't asked if I was cooking, oops, and yes I'm going to make a baked ham and some simple sides, maybe scalloped potatoes and a nice green salad with rolls. My husbands birthday is this Thursday (he's going to be 61) so we'll make his cake for dessert on Sunday, I think he either wants a coconut cake or a pineapple upside down cake, either way it's going to be good. You'll have to revisit NS, you know we always have lots of crunchy snow here!! I can't believe it's Easter this weekend either. Time is going by so quick. Ben's appetite is getting better, it's always nice when he enjoys and finishes his lunch.
I hope your husband has a nice birthday, both of those desserts sound delicious. We are having our Easter dinner with Dave's family on Friday, I'm trying to decide on a dessert to bring. Have a great Easter with your family as well! 🐰❤️

This may be a silly question, but what is a pizza burger? Is it a hamburger with mozzarella and tomato sauce on top? I'm glad Daisy is recovering well. It's so cute how Emily likes to help with the lunch-packing/lunch-emptying process.

Hey Alison! Not a silly question at all, I think pizza burgers might be a local thing around here, but it's just a hamburger bun with tomato sauce, cheese and Pepperoni. Gas stations sell them around here too. We used to love them as kids.
Emily is always eager to help (and sometimes eat their leftovers lol). Have a great week. 😊
