So we were smart , we went to the loo first. But in walks Roney and goes into a Cubicle. One of the Older guys gives Rod heaps, whilst he is a tad busy. And Rod outgave give him heaps .LOL. Then when he got upstairs in stage he apologised for being late , he said he was harrassed by local Idiots while he was dropping a Turd. LOL. he mentioned, "i had to endure the Idiots or drop a great big Turd up here, What do you want ?" In all the shows from Artists ive seen, he is the Aussie Best

I went to a RR show on my Bucks night and won a door prize of 3 VHS tapes, which he signed. One of the says "Brian you prick" haha. After we went out to town in Adelaide and his brother was drinking at one of the bars. Never really could confirm it was his brother, but he reckoned he drove his truck around with him.

🚬🤠 the dude played a show at waterford tavern in logan city in 1988 or so.. the cops had the entire hotel surrounded….. staked out… it was absolutely amazing ☝️❤️🙏 the crowd was going nuts.. he played from start to finish.. everyone had a great time… no arrests as far as i remember… one of the toughest crowds ☝️📈🔭🐥
He was charged with profanity in 87. The law firm in Brisbane where I worked over the summer holidays was defending him against those charges. From that point on he was a marked man in and around Brisbane.
He was the bomb in his time in Australia for sure...he set the bar very high and nobody has dared reach it even yet....tastefully rude but still couldn't be censored even back then!!! -that takes genius planning especially when its not noticed as you try to breathe watching and listening to his antics...he had a much testier show when in a pub though....loved him!!! always appropriate in his surroundings.

I saw him in Queenstown nz in 1990 , someone in the audience made the mistake of touching his foot , Rodney got upset ,and really belittled the guy ,he also suggested that the rest of the audience would be likely to beat the tar out of him ,if he ended the show early.
His vocal talent is pretty amazing. The jokes were good here (toned down for a Hey Hey audience). But if you really listen to what he does at the very end, he is a real fan of old time blues and is able to deliver it perfectly.
