I feel you ..i played it 40 something times and it still hurts . I even stopped waiting for my heart to recover . It sent me into an inner deep artistic sadness mode where i could produce paintings and drawings 1000 times better than my work pre TLOU2
Not trying to assume you didn't get it but the game isn't about revenge its about how revenge never gets us what we want. Just creates a cycle of revenge that gets no one what they want and just leads to all parties suffering needlessly.
Abby’s dad was begging to take Ellie’s life let’s not forget. And when he got asked if he could do that to his own daughter, he couldn’t reply, irregardless of Abby saying she would of wanted him to do it even if it was her. What Joel did was what any loving father in the right mind would do. Best storyline in any game or movie for that matter in my opinion!
Exactly, he couldn't outright answer that question & Abby said she would want him to do it but she's answering as someone who isn't in that position & he didn't bother to even ask ELLIE if she wanted to go ahead with the surgery. Abby's dad wanted to take Ellie's life for a potential vaccine...it wasn't even a guaranteed vaccine.
In the Spiderman game , Peter did the opposite and saved people instead of his Aunt but still people have flaws and they always try to fix them joel didn't wanted to scarifice Ellie, but in Spiderman, peter realised that just saving her aunt will be a great problem here i can say that Joel decision was driven by his emotions, not by brain still Best Series

Yep. Season 2 right here. But I bet HBO's gonna make some changes for some characters in the upcoming live action season 2 of LoU to make it more interesting.
I hated it. The second game completely destroyed Joel´s character. Made him weak and killed him off in a pathetic way, just for there to be a plot. Ellie was left broken and alone. As if the first game didn´t happen at all. None of it mattered. Abby... I kinda liked her story. They even broke Tommy. Made him a cripple and had his wife dump him. The whole thing was just "revenge is bad".
Joel was in the wrong for determining Ellie’s fate. If the vaccine were a success, a literal cure would’ve saved millions of lives and the world could become new again. Ellie even hated this.
The fight between ellie and abby was painful to watch and it wasn't like it bad it was heart wrenching seeing how ellie was so desperate to get revenge but she couldn't :(( also seeing abby in that shape and prepared to sacrifice anything for Lev really reminded me of joel and ellie 💔
The biggest problem with this game is the timing of it coming out in a pandemic when everyones brains were broken and everyone got a little bit too emotional. It really is a fantastic game.
And also the fact that the majority of the gaming community is little teenage boys with no emotional intelligence or critical thinking skills. Something required to actually understand the story
Ughhh idk about that lol, I don't think it deserves the hate that fans give it but I do understand it to a degree. Pacing issues, too many new characters that I didn't care about, poor setup to Joel's death. Those are some pretty glaring issues. However, I do think that the game does the poetic side of the story justice like the parallels between Abby & Ellie and the overall theme of forgiveness. Not to mention most of the Joel & Ellie moments hit the feels pretty hard. Season 2 & 3 of the show has the chance to correct these problems so here's hoping for the best.
The gift Joel gave Ellie at the air and space museum (at 1:10:24) bothered me beyond even the horror of the relentless threat of any moment: he gave her a future she can never experience, a future foreclosed, but not just by the "infected". Like all of this genre, such as the zombie films, the post-apocalyptic dystopian nightmare worlds, the humans are nearly always monsters far worse than those at our throats. Space represents something that is the best of us, but for Ellie, it's gone forever, and I cannot explain how deeply sad I find that fact.
Interesting analysis. But you should attempt to look into the past as well - how she was given an experience where she could regain it in a way, gain knowledge of the past, of something that she hasn't explored yet and would never be able to even experience ever again. Maybe, with the right mindset, this gift can be seen as a positive enrichment of experiences she would had otherwise never been able to go through.
@@lucareichelt7338Space isn’t closed to us. We have knowledge, computers, imagery, VR, and history and videos of space travel. Ellie had none of that. She had some books probably but that’s it. He gave her an experience in a world where all she thought about 24/7 was survival. But for that moment he gave her hope.
I am very sad about how Ellie had to say goodbye to Joel, watching him die, and not being able to tell him how much she loved him. Poor Joel who until the end had to be given a grumpy attitude by Ellie (and it is legitimate, since what happened at the Butterflies hospital) and died thinking that he hasn’t doing enough for her
Exactly, their last moments were wasted, I really wish Joel would had explain it to her, I believe if he said 'I can't lose another daughter', it would have made Ellie understand and actually listen to him
just finished the series, and i hope that with the success of season 1 they're able to spend more time and money on the second season to be as good as the game, i'm so excited to see what they're gonna do with this, cause if they do it right it might be the best tv show that ever existed
If the first season was as immersive as in the game and the second season too, this show could top even breaking bad, but unfortunately that's not the case
The way he just…. Died, just like that. One headshot and he was gone. A whole life’s worth of story, a charming fellow that always tried his best to lift the mood… Gone, just like that. Sent chills down my spine.
Thank you for this amazing video. The quality of the image is absolutely amazing. I just wish there weren't so many interesting parts cut out, like Ellie walking through Joel's house , hugging his jacket.
its been over a year since i played these games for the very first time and i still havent emotionally recovered from them. No other game has broken my heart like these ones
One thing i will always be grateful for, is the fact i'm alive to witness this beautifully written story. Thank you Naughty Dog. This will never be replicated.
I love the Matt Patt theory that Ellie isn't immune, and that she was infected by a strain of the Cordyceps. Cordyceps has over 400 hundred strains, ranging from the one where animals are zombie-fied to helping health and being used in medical practices. This theory is based off of Ellies blood work and a written note from one of the doctor's in the second game at the hospital showing that she is infected, but her readings from tests had shown that her white blood cells never reacted to the virus, in simple words her immune system is failing to react to the virus. Ellie may have came into contact at some point, or maybe at the first bite with a strain of the Cordyceps known as Tolypocladium Inflatum. Which is used to create Cyclosporine which is an immunosuppressant. Ellie's bloodwork contains the same reactions of someone taking that medicine, and given that Cyclosporine is a anti-fungal so she will never get infected with another type of virus from the cordyceps
Joel's watch only had one hole in the face for part one, and now that he has a second daughter, it's reflected by a second hole in the watch his first daughter gifted him. I love it
I dont play video games. In fact, my last gaming device was a DSi. Where I work, I basically babysit machines. If they break, I turn them on and off and thats usually the end of it. I watch alot og Hulu, Disney+, and Netflix. I also have TH-cam Premium. No clue about video games but from that walking dead series from Talltell games with Lee I watch play throughs. The stories are amazing.
It makes a much better movie than a game. The story is excellent. Despite what people say, I did care about Abby playing it. But the pacing for a game is off. It slows you down so much for story, as if it’s a Telltale game. You end up frustrated from the constant flashbacks. But as a story, it’s excellent.
Playing through this game again for only the 2nd time and I forgot how much it moved me. There's no better story that I've ever seen, anywhere. Love it. I wonder what season 2 will bring in the series. Wish we didn't have to wait.
the emotions of abby when she first realizes it's Joel from Tommy and scenes after...Ellie coming back after Nora...Joel telling the truth...this game story is too damn good.
I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed TLOU series! I stumbled upon it without any prior knowledge of its game version's popularity. Nonetheless, I was so captivated by the storyline that I delved deeper into the lore and eventually found myself watching this four-hour movie. I have to admit, it left me feeling quite depressed afterwards. But despite the emotional rollercoaster, if given a chance to relive the experience of watching the series and reading the story, I would do it all over again.
Absolutely loving this game , all though it was the first game to bring tears to my eyes and fill me with emotion . cant watch the last hour as I'm doing blind playthrough and don't want to know what happens before i finish playing.
This game was the greatest game i ever played the story telling showing abby and her group as the bad guys (most of them where bad people) but abby, mel and owens. But then with the story telling you see both sides it is truly the best written game ive ever played. I would love too see a second game with younger joel, tess and tommy in that 20 year gap seeing how ruthless they would be or a game on abby and levs story there is so much more to do with this series i could talk about it forever
Maybe that could serve as dlc. Imagine a story of that 20 year gap with Joel and Tommy and Tess but intercut with moments between Ellie’s mom and Marlene. Like how Left Behind switches between past and present. Idk maybe it’s a dumb idea
That's something that actually builds to the depth of the storytelling when you think about it. Take the opening sequence, for example. They have their jobs. Patrol, clear infected. Get back. But there is more to life than surviving now. This late into the apocalypse, infected would be normal. Especially if you belong to a large settlement this way. There's more to life at that point than only surviving. If you were on a revenge mission, surviving would be on your mind, yes, but that's just life for you at that point. Infected being such a big part of the first game and a minor part of the second is great world building. It speaks to humanities nature to endure and rebuild no matter the circumstances
Truth is most fans don't wanna admit that what Joel did to save Ellie was messed up in a sense. He couldnl have spared Abby's dad and got away with less deaths on his hands and would have avoided Abby avenging her father's murder. He would/could be still alive if he didn't make that one mistake. Abby gets heat because of course she's not Ellie not Joel but let's understand why she did what she did. Her father was truly her only parent she had left and they had a great relationship. I don't condone revenge or murder but both sides had their reasonings. Yet, it's important to let your feelings not overrule your judgment.
He couldnt spare abbys dad, he would have stabbed joel with the scalpel if joel tried grabbing ellie. And its not messed up to put someone to sleep, operate on their brain and kill them in the process without their consent? Id say there is no good nor evil in this instance, just people doing what they think is right in the given moment.
Yep Abbys dad wouldve tried to kill joel. They were going to kill Ellie, no question about it. Joel already lost his daughter, he thought of Ellie as his other daughter. He was damned if he let someone kill her too. I wouldve done the same thing if the situation was reality involving me. With that said, i understand Abbie killing Joel, he killed her dad, i would do the same thing if someone killed my parents.
@@droberts1664 that’s what the devs tried to portrait, how life is complicated and have different point of views. But people were too invested in joel and ellie to understand this so all they know how to do is scream and protest cause they imagined some fairy tale where joel and ellie lived happily ever after.
@@paradiseb5950 People had a problem with the way Tommy and Joel, two veteran survivors, gave away their names and town location to a group of strangers while knowing that there are people who are after Joel. It was lazy writing; a plot contrivance to get ellie onto her revenge journey. The cycle of violence wasnt lost on people, they just didnt like the way things happened and I agree. Joel should have died, but not in a way that makes him look like an idiot
ellie killed people way more stronger than abby as a child, and had multiple chance to kill abby in the theatre, especially when she decide to stab abby's leg, eventhough abby's rib was wide open, they really nerfed ellie and joel in this
She killed them with weapons yeah. In my opinion making ellie win in a knife/fist fight with abby makes no sense. Abby is obviously way stronger and bigger
@@wrestlingscience but they were both absolutely fooked, neither had been eating, abby had been strung up on that pole emaciated, ellie with her wound in her stomach so they were more than matched at that point strength wise. Without question Abby full strength would absolutely annihilate ellie fist to fist, but ellie with a knife, thats a winner right there everytime.
During season 1, i found myself always waiting with excitement for the next episode and i like how it felt. For that reason I'm going to resist myself from watching this. 😊😢😂
I think the 2nd part was just more upsetting and hard to move past because it came out the year after the pandemic started. I think I was looking forward to something different and then it was just more depression when this came out lol.
OMG What a ride, a journey seen through Ellis and Abby lives, so intertwined and so sad, but beautifully done... IN another life they could have be best friends...
It was all filler anyway, that's the worst of it. Abby's campaign is pointless. The only thing it affects is why Lev is there in the ending, but even he was useless. Keeping the scenes like her motive, finding the map, etc. should be kept but that's like 30mins at most.
One of my favorite game series, really enjoyed part two but it's very controversial to say the least. I'm really really really curious how part two of the TV series is going to play out. after revisiting part two currently I am very excited for part two of the TV series now.
Played it when it first came out and watching it here again just cause I loveeee it so much ❤ it has it all! I just am really hoping Ellie will have a better ending in Part III.. at least with Dina and JJ
I liked how part 2 went for the most part. However at the end scene with Joel. He says how’d he do it all over again I’m assuming the same way. If he cares so much about Ellie, he never said he loved or cared about her. Even at the end I was waiting for something like that. I mean it’s obvious Joel cares but just not sure about it. Great game tho, it’s been a long time since I played a game for so long at one or two times to complete it. Need part 3 now
I felt like Joel's care for Ellie was a lot more clear than Ellie's care for Joel. I would have liked to see her forgive him before he died, or at least appreciate her own life at some point. It was sad that they were not as close before he died.
I think one of the reasons why ellie let abby go is because in this fight ellie won, so she feels a bit relieved? Before it was abby who always won & let ellie live
I think she let her go because that was the first time throughout the whole game she actually sees Joel happy and in a good place (not the flashbacks i mean the PTSD visions ) they were all bloody and brutal . In the most violent act of hers she saw him chilling because deep in that beautiful immune brain of hers she’s still that sweet girl who enjoys puns and laughs she’s not a cold blooded murderer ..deep down she knew it was enough and that Joel wouldn’t want her to lose herself over something that wont solve anything . I was so proud of her when she let go of Abby she won because she was able to do it and chose not to, Abby lost because she wasn’t strong enough to let go of her revenge . Even though i understand Abby and she grew on me and i tried protecting her in the last fight by dodging and stepping back i know she lost herself her only gain was Lev and Ellie lost everything but herself . Its sad and poetic at the same time i’m sorry for making this way too long its just I could never shut up about TLOU .
@@KoujiInfected91This is really well said! I never thought about it as Ellie won because she was able to kill her and chose not to and Abby lost because she couldn't let go of her thirst for revenge. That's really poetic and I agree with this whole interpretation. Why do you say that Ellie didn't lose herself but Abby did?
@@rose.888 think of it as life in general ,a person can never come back from killing ..all the NPCs we fought as Ellie were merely kill or be killed more of a “ i have to do this to survive/ they are in my way “ but Abby was the target she was THE kill and a very well studied plan . Ellie put all her efforts and skills to find and eliminate Abby only to choose to let her go after everything she went through to get to her which shocked alot of fans who didn’t get the deeper meaning behind part 2. For me i think this is the ultimate strength , to be fully aware of yourself at such a devastating hard moment . Ellie chose to end the cycle of vengeance even though everything in her wanted to finish Abby right there. I think she also realized at that moment that Abby and Lev are just another Joel and Ellie . She saw how much Abby cared for Lev, the moment she cut her down she expected a fight but Abby went straight to Lev because thats all she cared about . That scene reminded me of when Ellie drowned in part 1 and Joel was trying to save her not caring that a fully armed man was yelling and pointing a gun at him he went straight to Ellie because thats all he cared about . Ellie gained herself by realizing all of this in a span of seconds while crying and drowning Abby . Abby couldn’t see past her anger and sadness couldn’t think of anything other than revenge she had more time than Ellie to process yet she couldn’t process any of it because she chose not to . Sorry for the essay 😅i swear I’m obsessed with anything TLOU related ,it literally shifted my way of seeing things .
@@KoujiInfected91 No need to apologize! I loved reading this. How would you say this game shifted your way of seeing things? Also, when I seen Abby on the beach I was shocked, she looked so destroyed. When I was playing I wanted Ellie to kill Abby lol. Reading your perspective makes her decision more clear. I wonder if a part of Ellie would feel some sort of regret or bitterness for letting Abby go. Or if Ellie will ever come to forgive Joel? I think I can't ever fully wrap my mind around the whole story because its very complex to me. 🫠
Abby still was tough after the massive weight loss. I didn't know that was Abby at first on these little short videos that got whooped up. Abby was a big dude
After watching this I actually like abby! Her character is interesting, her friends are loyal to her. What she did to joel is still bad & cruel.. abby & ellie are the same. But ofc ellie number 1 favorite character for me then abby numb 2!
This is not the full length of the game/cut scenes. This is just the cut scenes but the whole thing is around 10hours including game play since it emerge the viewer enven more. I watched the 10h one and have no regret.
This story sadly had some pieces missing in the end missing. Elli never found out why Abby killed Joel. Remember, Joel killed Abby's dad the Doctor that was going to exstract a cure from Elli's brain which would have killed Elli. All those people had to needlessly die because of this. Lastly and sadly, Elli never knew Joel had and lost his daughter at the beginning of the virus outbreak and Joel's run-in with Elli, made him feel God gave him a second chance with his daughter through Elli. Six hours of the best game movie ever!
See , don't blame Joel, he's only human and we all do what we think is right in our own eyes , you saw the way he lost his daughter , finding E was the best thing that happened in his world even it was a s*itty world to live in like that where people get so f*cked up like that but yet he lived , why kill one person to save others? Point Is all lives is precious ! She deserved to live because the virus wasn't her fault either .. I pray that doesn't happen to the LAST OF US ALL .. wonderful story. Just sad Joel died just like that. . Very sad ..
Don't be closed minded, Joel killed Abbys dad, ellie killed her lover and her friends. Abby sought revenge on Joel after her dad's death, in conclusion Joel got what was coming to him. An eye for an eye, look it up.
Joel did what anyone would have - to protect a little girl from an adult who was going to sacrifice her without her consent. Abby is just a ponytailed man.
@@iamtheiceman exactly my point , I mean what would he have done ? Watch them kill her just like that because they want to live so we must take others life? @@monicatate4767 the thing is would you have allowed E die for everyone else just because they want to live ? His dad was killed by joel... Ellie knew it was on Joel..but still try to kill Abby Abby spare Ellie's life eventho she's trying to avenge his dad killer Ellie's " still" trying to kill her after and managed to kill her But Ellie's spare Abby's life back I think Ellie and Abby is the same, they're both victims of revenge. Just different path
Worst parts of this game, Ellie NOT FINISHING Abby even tho she killed Joel and bit of her finger, and Joel dying with a fricking golf culb didn't deserve it
ellie would be only repeating this cycle of violence if she killed abby- it wouldn't stop, and she knew better so she let go and came to terms with her past and honestly rooting for ellie to kill other people sucks shit already- i get you, and i felt it too, but it doesn't always have to end this way, killing people after people for revenge also joel crossed too many people in the past, so his death was clearly coming, it was brutal yeah, but it was honestly inevitable :( he killed abby's father, what would you expect abby to do in a post-apocalyptic world? im not justifying her actions, they all did bad things, just wanted to clear things up i get the hate but yeah sorry for the bad grammar
@@catastrxphe0007 idk whate made you think that killing Abby wouldn't end it all, since Abby did start the nonsense, Joel really didn't have to kill the doctor but Abby could at least hear from Joel and not kill him in front of Ellie's eyes, so for me letting Abby be was super idiotic, even tho it "could" create cycle which would never create
@@icloserG the only reason Ellie went for Abby again near the end of the game was because Ellie’s ptsd was getting worse, she just wanted closure and for it to stop; when defeating Abby for once Ellie saw a good image of Joel rather than the tainted bloody images she usually sees, right then Ellie got the closure she needed; killing Abby wouldn’t have changed anything, letting her live was the best option for Ellie. They’re two peas in the same pod.
Hey cmon, in the years of apocalypse, that is caused by a deadly virus and that you have to be glad if you wake up next morning being worried about your dad's killer is the last option possibly, even more tommy and joel saved abby's ass out there and that's how she payed her, by killing the most badass and most beloved character in one of the top tier games out there, that simply is bad writer job and not abby, ellie or joel at all @@loni1932

Dunno why this game receives so much hate, the story is arguably better than the first one and the way the antagonist and protagonists story ties in with one another is very well done. The atmosphere and dialogue are also top notch. This game is nowhere near as bad as people say it is. It's a solid 8.5/10 for me personally.
Id really like if they change Joel's death in the series to one less humilliating and perhaps also make Ellie take a different action from the one in the game at the end
Joel killed people in some of the most brutal ways imaginable in part 1. He even tortured people. People with family and loved ones. Of course we are attached to him because we spent the most time with him, but he really had it coming. I like Joel but He got off easy considering all the killing he has done

@@coxmanbgg you don’t understand the reason why Ellie let Abby go, and is funny because they show that at the end, and the magic reason is: Forgiveness. Yes you might not like it, but is what it is and I think is amazing how this video game have a such important and great message even tho is a killing and more video game. Ellis knows what Joel did was wrong, she the last day she was him she said she would try to forgive him, because well she loves him as a dad and she knows understands why he let her live… Abby her dad was murder and plus no cure for the world. That’s not Ellie’s fault, is Joel’s fault, that’s why they let her go multiple times (also they know Ellie is inmune so I don’t think is worth it to kill the only person that can’t get infected) Abby let Ellie live 2 times, would you do what if they are trying to kill you because you murder their father, father that murder your father? Abby didn’t felt hate or reason to murder Ellie because it was none, she should kill her the times she had the opportunity, but I’m here guessing they both knew they were repeating the violence cycle. Killing each others friend and family was not going to bring them or make them feel better. For much that I hate to see Ellie getting hurt and beat up by Abby, I’m excited to know what can happened because they would make a good time if both can move on and pass that both parents were not amazing man, they would done terrible things just to survive. Fact. Saw where they are coming from
Joel was in the wrong for determining Ellie’s fate. If the vaccine were a success, a literal cure would’ve saved millions of lives and the world could become new again. Ellie even hated this.
The L6BTO+ inserts totally tanked it.... so artificial and pandering
The fight between ellie and abby was painful to watch and it wasn't like it bad it was heart wrenching seeing how ellie was so desperate to get revenge but she couldn't :(( also seeing abby in that shape and prepared to sacrifice anything for Lev really reminded me of joel and ellie 💔
exactly what naughty dog wanted to make you feel
It was heartbreaking watching Ellie try to play her guitar with one less finger, she has to learn how to do it again
The biggest problem with this game is the timing of it coming out in a pandemic when everyones brains were broken and everyone got a little bit too emotional. It really is a fantastic game.
😂😂😂 yeah ok
You're giving people too much credit. They would have botched regardless lol
@@lex_rodriguez You know what? You're 100% right 😂 Even though I do think it made everything 100x worse.
Season 2 & 3 of the show has the chance to correct these problems so here's hoping for the best.
i've seen what happens to Joel 3 times now and I still tear up on that scene
It is closed for probably 99.9% of people even without an apocalypse. Joel brought her to a theme park
It’d be great if NaughtyDog made a DLC of Seattle’s 3 days from TOMMY’s perspective. Dawg was wilding for 3 days straight by himself.
Holy shit, never considered that but could be quite interesting, I think the ship may have sailed for it though.
That would be a great cinematic until they work on part 3.

Literally who the fuck cares about them

I love it
I like how it starts with the guitar 0:02 and ends with the guitar too 4:05:08
Thank God no banjo.

This is one of the best story telling games ever made
I dont play video games. The stories are amazing.
one of the worst stories
It makes a much better movie than a game. The story is excellent. Despite what people say, I did care about Abby playing it. But the pacing for a game is off. It slows you down so much for story, as if it’s a Telltale game. You end up frustrated from the constant flashbacks. But as a story, it’s excellent.
This was fantastic!! Joel trying redemption and opening up after building walls from trauma.
But despite the emotional rollercoaster, if given a chance to relive the experience of watching the series and reading the story, I would do it all over again.
i love how Ellie still got that bracelet Dina gave her. Indeed a "Lucky Charm"
OMG A THIRD GAME COVERING THE 20 YEAR GAP WOULD BE UNBELIEVABLE
Omg that would be amazing!!
Maybe that could serve as dlc. Imagine a story of that 20 year gap with Joel and Tommy and Tess but intercut with moments between Ellie’s mom and Marlene. Like how Left Behind switches between past and present. Idk maybe it’s a dumb idea
The part 2 is not all about infected anymore, but revenge. I love the part 1, but this one.....I don't know
Same problem as walking dead in later seasons
I see Ashley Johnson's eyes in Ellie. Anna, you would be so proud of how strong your girl has become.
Humanity is its own worst enemy, not parasites.
@@paradiseb5950 True true

People had a problem with the way Tommy and Joel, two veteran survivors, gave away their names and town location to a group of strangers while knowing that there are people who are after Joel. It was lazy writing; a plot contrivance to get ellie onto her revenge journey.
The cycle of violence wasnt lost on people, they just didnt like the way things happened and I agree. Joel should have died, but not in a way that makes him look like an idiot
Imagine if the first season of the Halo tv Series followed the game this closely! It would of been a massive hit

One of the most compelling stories ever.
ellie killed people way more stronger than abby as a child, and had multiple chance to kill abby in the theatre, especially when she decide to stab abby's leg, eventhough abby's rib was wide open, they really nerfed ellie and joel in this
She killed them with weapons yeah.
But in terms of boss fights, Abby killed that huge infected condicept final boss single handedly.

Like make the story's shorter
It was all filler anyway, that's the worst of it. Abby's campaign is pointless. The only thing it affects is why Lev is there in the ending, but even he was useless. Keeping the scenes like her motive, finding the map, etc. should be kept but that's like 30mins at most.
One of my favorite game series, really enjoyed part two but it's very controversial to say the least.
I'm really really really curious how part two of the TV series is going to play out. after revisiting part two currently I am very excited for part two of the TV series now.

All Joel wanted was to save Ellie. All Ellie wanted was to find the purpose of her life, not being told by someone else 😢.
Playing as Abby was the biggest slap to the face I have ever felt, I literally turned off the game and never went back when Joel died.
Initially I had the same feelings as you. As the game progresses, you will start rooting for Abby.
You have to be strong and finish the game. The whole point of the story is to make you hate Abby at first
I felt the same way I had to put the game down for a couple days. Then I went back and experienced the most incredibly emotional game I've ever played
Excellent movie! Love the game too.
Need part 3 now
He shows how much he loves and cares about you have to be able to read between the lines
It’s not something that needs to be explicitly said. What he says is more than just a cliche “I love you”
I felt like Joel's care for Ellie was a lot more clear than Ellie's care for Joel. I would have liked to see her forgive him before he died, or at least appreciate her own life at some point. It was sad that they were not as close before he died.

Damn, to know that's how she treated Joel and now can't take it all back before he got murdered. That shit cuts deep man
Still mad at Abby for killing Joel.
Joel killed her father. Wouldn’t you act the same?

This story sadly had some pieces missing in the end missing.
Elli never found out why Abby killed Joel.
Remember, Joel killed Abby's dad the Doctor that was going to exstract a cure from Elli's brain which would have killed Elli.
All those people had to needlessly die because of this.
Lastly and sadly, Elli never knew Joel had and lost his daughter at the beginning of the virus outbreak and Joel's run-in with Elli, made him feel God gave him a second chance with his daughter through Elli.
Six hours of the best game movie ever!
Elli knew that Joel had a daughter before the outbreak and also knew she died. that was acknowledged in the first game.
it’s gonna suck when joel’s gonna die. that game scene already hit me hard when joel died
See , don't blame Joel, he's only human and we all do what we think is right in our own eyes , you saw the way he lost his daughter , finding E was the best thing that happened in his world even it was a s*itty world to live in like that where people get so f*cked up like that but yet he lived , why kill one person to save others? And they mocked us in the face, by showing a brief flashback of dead joel right before ellie lets abby go. Every normal person would get even more enraged by thinking this picture in their head, not the opposite....
Its insane how the storytelling is stupidly twisted, and with stupid woke shit too!
Remember they still fighting against a parasite that is mutating and getting worse with time, this 2 girls are smart and powerful.. So let’s see.
Joel is a complex character he rooted to his
Loved one's do anything to protect them,
The main reason I use to play video games was purely to see the cutscenes....I enjoyed watching others play their games for same reason..now internet & TH-cam vids of the entire cutscenes put into movies from stopped me from losing A LOT of $ on game systems & games..🤣 oh and HOURS of lost time.
Lawd bless ya'll who sit play record & edit these vids .
It actually stopped me from having a gaming addiction in my adult years.😁
Last game I purchased and play occasionally on my Xbox 360 is BioShock. I got the entire set of games ...aid I wouldn't purchase another game til BioShock 4 game came out...still waiting 😂
