Bonds of Agony is the single most terrifying card I’ve ever been on the other side of. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve had to fire off a defensive AoW just so they can’t rip the other copies out of my deck
Shifting Winds of the Mystic Beast is hilarious. I can't wait to pretend to be going for a dishonor line and then name a crouching tiger "Victor Goldmane, High and Mighty"
I've built a hybrid Enigma for blitz with a lot of phantasm, and yeah Restless Coalescence is still a slam dunk lol its a get out of jail free card to maintain that pressure you need in a shorter format.
My immediate impression of Restless was a 3of, but after trying it I feel like it could go down to 2 as +1 counters are not always abundant, the value of a 0 cost on-rate ward instant is pretty strong though on its face
JJE is a weaker effect in Azalea but its strong. It’s also limited to 1 copy. If they put the same ability on a stealth card for Nuu though that’s really good
I have seen many people saying that Levels of Enlightenment is one of the best cards in the set, while not mentioning, or even talking bad, about another card that is Tooth And Claw. Tooth and Claw is MUCH easier to get as a 0 cost 5 go again and draw a card. I know it because I've done it multiple times. But Levels of Enlightenment almost always is just a 1 for 3 go again. Even if it's a 1 for 5 go again it's worse than Tooth and Claw. I'm anyway happy that Tooth and Claw has not that much of attention and I will be able to buy them cheaper haha
You’ve had considerably better luck with Tooth than I have. It’s consistently been a 0 for 4 go again and nothing else. Whereas Levels I can reliably get 2 modes and occasionally 3 in all 3 heroes
You are comparing a red class+talented card to a blue that will be played in every single mystic forever, cause they need blues that can be played before activating a transcend card. Tooth is good. Not even close to necessary tho. Levels doesn't have any card that come close to the same power level.
I don't like nuu. Limited feels very slanted to favor her. In our local game store prerelease there were 8 players and 5 were nuu, 2 zen, and i was the only Enigma. I felt good at first going against nuu round 1, but mid game nuu's ability happened and it felt like there was so much unfair advantage being dumped out against me because you have to use a lot of blue cards in limited with mistveil. Playing against nuu is not fun. Ill get over it, this is just growing pains going into a different meta. I even opened bonds of agony but still refused to play nuu. I also opened three visits so i was alright with Enigma.
Because cosmos Ward = power effect isn't actually seeing the number of +1 counters, it's seeing the Ward X value. So on attack, manifestations of miragai has base power X, then the +1 counters add more power on top of that.
Mask of recurring nightmare is the best thing you can do against a brute player whenever they're going for a discard play
Mask is an attack reaction. This would need to occur as you attack them.
Nuu's ability to banish defending cards is already insane by itself against guardians/brutes, which also play a lot of blue cards
Bonds of agony is insane, even with Uzuri. Her ability is already a reaction.
It might even be more interesting in Uzuri because you can put it down after they declare blocks after being restricted by dominate.

Shadowrealm horror is such a cool card, awesome artwork. Totally changes the way you build a deck. Very happy to have pulled one in the prerelease

I dont get it. Why does Manifostation of Miragai swing for 8 ??? If it has ward 4 it swings for 4 ? (Still good)
