I don't think I've ever seen Civic Steps get flung back in someone's face that hard 😱. So glad you guys have such consistent sponsors and that LSS continues to value how fantastic these videos are for learning the game.
This game could have been a nightmare to watch with how complex the thought process was behind so many different moves and how much text is on those cards. Luckily your frequent cutaways and explanations really softened that a lot. You guys are such professionals and always such a joy to watch, wishing you all the best and everything that you do. 💖
That Nuu ability activation to steal Aidan’s stuff was just brutal as heck.
New Three Floating hype, but I'm dying on the inside after this video. It really shows how much of a menace Nuu is going to be and two of my gaming buddies are interested in maining her. Hoo boy.

Honestly, I hate Nuu so much.
Not really the champion itself, but all the cards designed around her. It feels hella overtuned, and from the Prerelease, I can say how NOT fun it is to play against her.
I desperately hope this strategy somehow ends up not being relevant, because this is the type of design which will cause players to quit the game if it is.
It's just toxic overall. I feel like LSS dropped the ball on that one.
Just all my personal opinion, of course.
@rgbcgroup I mean, I think that a character discouraging the use of 1/3 of all cards in the game (blues) is really dumb. And her ability to put attack actions that block her Stealth cards into banish *automatically and for free* is insane. If it were a defense reaction for a pitched Chi I'd be okay with it, but free is nuts since it feeds into her main Chi ability.
@@LtRand0m Oh yeah. There are so many ways in which this could have been done better.
Like, only allowing to banish the defending cards by paying 1 resource would have already made a huge difference.
NOT giving her an equipment which forces the opponent to banish a card from HAND,
not even Arsenal, top of deck or Graveyard, FROM. THEIR. HAND.
at instant speed AND triggering her attack action bonuses would have made a difference.
NOT making her most broken cards ALL free to play would have made a difference
NOT giving her a free go again at basically any time would have made a difference.
NOT allowing her to win basically any fatique battle super easily just by existing would have made a difference.
But no... she got ALL of the above going for her. It is mind boggling to me how this is supposed to be ok.
Edit: not to mention this strategy will now greatly limit all new assassin card design moving forward. Every time, until the moment Nuu inevitably LL's, LSS now has to think "can we really print this with Nuu around?"

@18:30 he could have used tunic to activate the boots, to give the 3rd guardian attack go again and swing for another 5, lol. that turn was insane
Just gotta remember that we cannot just turn broken equip down anymore because of the new cloaked equipment.

I think to maximize Goldmane Estate you would want Spring Tunic. Just play it with the tunic resource and get a free card.

Sam could have played the wallop on the big nuu turn by using tunic to activate his boots. Insane turn.
Yeah I thought about it but wanted to keep the blue in there in case I needed it later. Also don’t think I had blocked with them yet - felt like the turn was big enough hahaha

What is the usage of silver tokens for nu? Only draw cards?
pretty much, yeah-they are just additional upside to the contract cards that you want to run for banishes, rather than the primary goal in the other assassins

Could you have flicked the Beckoning Mistblade during your first Nuu activation to play out the wallop?

Why do Aidens like FAB so much I know 3 Aidens that play FAB the one from this channel and 2 of my friends I initally started playing FAB. If I had a quarter for every time an Aiden played FAB I'd have 3 quarters. Which isn't much but weird it happened twice.
