In this episode, we're playing Ultimate Pit Fight! This is a 4-player format of FaB where that last player standing wins. Each of us are starting with one of the preconstructed Blitz decks, which is a 40 card deck with a Young hero.
Flesh and Blood: Round the Table contains 4 decks and was designed by LSS in collaboration with The Professor @TolarianCommunityCollege . It contains everything you need to start playing Flesh and Blood immediately.

This is a fantastic product to get into Flesh and Blood! Give my new (and currently empty) FaB channel a subscribe to follow my FaB journey www.youtube.com/@SuperDuperFAB-wp8ji
I give this episode an A++++++
The subliminal messaging worked 🤓
Congrats on becoming a Flesh and Blood Hero Prof, super cool to see. I would want to be an Arakni hero
This needs more views! Such a good vibe and gameplay!
Thanks!!
This got me to purchase the Flesh & Blood: Round the Table! I can't wait to try FAB and have game nights where I alternate between this and EDH 😊
Can’t wait to see you guys build your own decks 💯💯💯
Hey thanks again so much for having me on the show. The game was a ton of fun!
It's always great to see FaB being looked at by the MTG community instead of trash talked
This looks really fun!
great vid. would be interesting to get fab pros on videos like this.
Awesome video!
That box seems very interesting. any idea where you got those pitch dice?
But what app did you guys use to track your life?
also curious
question. If first player attacks right side player (who is last on the first around) After attack he can draw back to 4 cards (if he blocked). Now when guy who is third decides to attack that same player again. Can he draw after that back to four? (it's third player first turn and defender doesn't had turn yet) Or will he just miss his first turn if he blocked with all his cards? So is that draw turn only for first player who starts the turn and defender of that first attack?
This might actually compel me to buy this
Cant wait for your FaB content :)
Glad to be Round The Table with you guys playing my favourite game, Flesh and Blood ! Great work by LSD and The Professor @tolariancommunitycollege ! Thanks for the invites
More fab content!
Yeah lets goo! Brevant!
Awesome ! Thanks !
Welcome!
So much fun, i love flesh and blood
Lol when it’s a real game you missplay a lot haha still good tho
Are you sure you can over pitch? 😅
Only if you stack it so you pay with a red first, which isn't enough to pay for it all, then you can pitch the blue to fully pay for it. You have to have something to pay for to pitch a card.
Super fun Game
Yeah it was!
I tried fab but it didn’t really excite me like magic does. Does it take time to enjoy?
Having people to play it with is one part of it. The bigger part is choosing a hero that feels good to play. My first time I played a ninja and decided it wasn't for me. I tried a brute after a friend suggested I'd like that more and we were suddenly off to the races.
you need to find a class you enjoy playing, also part of the excitement is the fact that it is always evolving, there is actual R&D with new cards and not just reprinting of the same effects. it is also not based on a mana screw mechanic.
It definitely took like ten games for me to "get" it but man is FAB fun once you get your sea legs
It depends on what you like about TCGs. I was playing a lot of EDH and Limited in Magic, and while EDH had its fun moments for me, it started to feel very bland and repetitive the more games I played. Every deck seemed like a variation of some Rube Goldberg machine / win-out-of-nowhere gimmick / board state advancement value engine without too much interaction, which eventually just stopped being fun for me.
I still play an occasional booster draft, but what frustrates me the most about Magic is losing to my own deck, i.e. mana flood/screw. This was _never_ the case for me in Flesh & Blood. Every time I lost a game I could clearly see where I made a mistake and what could I improve. Obviously, there are some matchups which are almost guaranteed losses, but these also exist in Magic. The best part of FaB is that it's a much more interactive game overall (unless you come to a game against Wizard hero with no Arcane Barrier equipment) -- there's a lot of back-and-forth all the time, and a lot of decisions you need to make during both active and inactive turns

MTG still king!

If you were smart enough to figure out how to play Magic well you would enjoy it more as well!
Why not both? I alternate with UPF and Commander with my friends. UPF is a little faster than Commander so it's fun to play when there's a time constraint.
unsub no magic content for almost a month and paywall bs
They're trying so hard to push UPF. It's boring, there's little interaction between players besides attacking players next to you and trying to time deaths. There's few fun global interactions. You just attack the player, usually to you left as attacking the player to your right gets you very little value. Also why they make you play this with a blitz deck is beyond me. By the time you get down to two players it's usually just fatigue. It's boring and janky and severely limited. I hate magic, but commander puts this format to shame.
They're pushing for more new players to try the game. UPF is their only casual format (currently, untill PVE comes). That's why they worked with the prof to create this product. The interactions depend on the heroes. If the bard and guardian wanted to they could interact with others. Also the turns go by faster.
