The problem with DTD is it has too many limited cards without being a draftable set. But it sure has great marvels and beatiful art

Nothing beats Outsiders for me. Best Draft experience ever. AND my man Riptide came in that set. That is just something I cannot forget haha
Oh i hope people resonate with the ROS take on limited. To me as a wizard player its obviously on top but community as a major I thought it was incredibly bold of LSS to make the worlds set arcane. But they did ot INCREDIBLY well again
I don't care what the tier list says. Bright Lights is my favorite set until LSS goes back to metrix. Or pirates happen. Or better yet, Mech Pirates.

Rosetta draft is good, but I'm not a fan of Rosetta sealed. Sealed is just so stacked in favor of Runeblade, it feels so stale. It feels a lot like Uprising, which was default Fair, unless you get enough cards for a different hero. Because of that, I don't rate Rosetta as high. Mistveil limited is phenomenal! Every hero feels viable, and you often have near even splits between all 3.
@@canadianized My issue with mistveil was just how polarizing the heroes felt. I think I'm a minority in that opinion though

Top 3 Sets: 1. WTR 2. Heavy Hitters 3. Outsiders (Only because Assassin became playable. CRU should be here instead, but I have too much love for the class.) 😛
Worst 3 Sets: 1. Tales 2. Monarch 3. Bright Lights (Dynasty and Mistveil are close to making this list.) DTD gets saved for me because I like Levia and Boltyn. But it's definitely not a great expansion overall, and I understand the low rating seen here. Fun video!

Super agree on the cold foil common equipment in Rosetta. Getting the cold foil rush and then seeing it's a common equipment really crashes that feeling and is super frustrating.
Opened my first ever CRU First box this weekend. I had an absolute blast and opened a CRUnic as well as a CF Mandible claw had a great time!
Maybe it is recency bias... but i think my favorite set is Rosetta. Florian is my favorite hero I have played in the game (besides maybe briar) and I just love the flexibility all 4 heroes present.
Completely agree with you saying HVY is the best set simply because it’s the only set currently with a Goblin… That’s what you said right…😅
I started my FaB journey with Dynasty. However, Heavy Hitters is my all time favorite so far. BETSY IS BAE.

DTD remains one of my favorite sets, and it is the most opened set for myself. DTD's art is great, the marvels are incredible, there are iconic Expansion slot cards and it brought us the Expansion slot system. I think it suffers from the same fate that every expansion set did outside of Crucible which is its lack of draftability. Though as context, I also was a huge fan of EVR when most people trashed it, so maybe I'm the weird one. I hope it will be looked more fondly upon in the waning years.

i just started playing recently, but i love part the mistveil. I'm all in for the lore of the game and Mistveils flavor wins big time for me. Also i really dig the transcendence mechanic and i hope they do more with it (Mystic Warrior aka Samurai plz)
CRU's impact to the meta at the time of release is unrivaled.
I agree that ToA, Bright Lights, and Dynasty were all weaker sets compared to others, but DtD is still a very strong set for me. It is absolutely packed with useful generics (Warmonger's Diplomacy, Censor, Poison the Well, Hold the Line, Crown of Providence), plus awesome marvels, new Heroes and the introduction of Demi Hero cards, and mostly great Legendaries and a useful Fable. It just hit on all fronts.
Outsiders to me was when they really dialed in what the draft experience should feel like
PTM was a beautiful set, but boy did I not enjoy the scissors paper rock format of the 3-hero split. Felt stupid. LSS please drop the 3 hero sets!
Heavy hitters limited was the funnest limited experience Ive had since MTG days. IMHO nothing comes close to that experience but Heavy Hitters just windmill slammed the "fun" part of the experience, my local scene was still running drafts months after the set came out.
Rosetta and the 2 talents also felt really great but not HH levels fun. I joined the game just after outsiders so never got to experience monarch :(

History Pack 1 is the best set by far.
Disregard the other regions. Aria has the best aesthetic.
Dynasty is easily the worst set for sure.
None of the new character archetypes functioned when the set released, and the ones that have been revisited have had almost all the important cards reprinted anyways.
Dusk till dawn had a lot of chaff, but it did introduce a new shadow runeblade with a unique playstyle, and a new prism with a unique playstyle. They were both bad competitively, but the best way to play their decks was decent. Plus levia and Boltyn got some pretty good support.
Dynasty introduced a new class, but the immediate next set did a WAY better job of introducing that class, and also immediately invalidated most of the assassin cards in dynasty.
Mistveil was something to be remembered, I don't think they'll ever top the beauty of that set.
How is tales of aria last when literally the entire hero group is banned from being too good haha.
