Honestly found this kind of awkward! Some of the moves reminds me a lot of Frankie's samba with kevin though.
Who dresses them up like this?! Is this a parody of a Samba? The sad thing is, the routine is PACKED with authentic Samba figures and Louise accomplished the difficult techniques most of the time! Argh. I want to like it (the music is very suitable for this dance) but the costume totally ruined it because it makes them look so campy and twee! 9

you can tell she's having so much fun during this dance, her smile lit up the ballroom
She's so stiff, her movements were too sharp and robotic. Also, especially at this stage of the competition, why was she looking down at her feet for most of the dance?
Really didn't like this samba at all. I like Louise a lot but I think she's in serious danger tonight after that dance !

Ross K , I totally agree with you. This dance only came to life in the 2nd part when the music went up a gear. I wish Kevin had given Louise a "Danny" style samba. This would have showed off Louise is a better light. She can definitely dance better than this. I fear for her tonight.
Sandra Poku .....even if Kevin had devised a "Danny style samba" Louise would need Dannys skills to "show her in a better light".....a truly skilled performer would stand out regardless of routine. Kevin knows it , end of story.
delta fay you make a valued point. I rate Louise as a performer, you can only shine if the material you are given to work with is good. Kevin is a good choreography, however this routine was very basic and boring. As for the music, don't get me started on that dull song.

I do really think that Karen Clifton can be over the top and too hyper, but I don't like how Kevin acts around her it's like he's ashamed of her, whereas when he is with Louise he seems so proud n always happy to show her off, very talented couple but I don't think he is loyal in that aspect, someone needs to remind him that she is his wife regardless, sorry about the rant just had to say it cause it's what I've observed
I think the producers were really mean to give her this dance so close to the end when everything is on the line! She is clearly one of the best dancers, but this wasn't her best. I really hope she makes it to the final!
I don't think this was the best Samba if I'm being honest.
Saying that Kevin is one of my fav pro's and Louise is a lovely person too.

Hard dance to have for the semi final and she really gave it a good go. She would sail into the final in any other season. This year? I just really don't know.

Only thing I didn't like was how this scored higher than Claudia's Rumba. Louise unluckily got both of her weaker dance styles in the semi-finals. It does also point to how good she is if her not performing up to par is still kinda good. Anyways, hoping they make the finale - Kevin would extend his record of three consecutive finals to FOUR!
I actually really like this dance
Louise Rednapp, I like her and i like Kevin he has done a great job with her. Louise actually attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theater, that is the the most prestigious dance school in the UK. She danced Tap , Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet , from the age of five - years old until she went to Italia Conti Academy. She is a professional dancer. She was a Dance Judge on So You Think You Can Dance. Professional Singer in a girl dance band . She should be dancing circles around everyone on the show she has plenty of experience as a performer I think her dance training is above and beyond any person ever on this show . Danny did not dance as a child he was to scared to try . He was 18 years old when he studied Acting and Drama for three years he did not major in dancing . Wicked is not a dance show his character in Wicked sang and acted did not dance. , he acted for 4 years on a soap opera . I am shocked beyond words at how well Danny dances for such little dance training compared to Louise who should be called a professional dancer has trained her entire life in different forms of dance for many years since she was a little girl Why has Louise background been played down to the point that no one ever speaks about it making her look like she has no dance ability but in fact Louise has more training then Danny Mac could ever dream of. She is the ringer Danny is the underdog . I expect her to dance much more difficult choreography more content in her dances. because she has more then 20 years of dance training in many different kind of dances . This criticism has not been applied to her this year. True facts change everything. Danny is dancing by far more challenging routines from the first week of the show but he does not have the years of expert dance experience she has . I hope to see something amazing from her in the final after her background being played down . i do not care about dance experience but everyone thinks she has no confidence or dance experience.

If anyone was overmarked last night it was Louise. This samba exposed her weaknesses. It wasn't a fitting dance for a semi final. If anyone is the Judge's favourite it's Louise, that dance was 8's at the most. Making sure Louise was joint 3rd place with Claudia, has put Claudia in jeopardy.
Louise maybe a nice person, but she shows no passion or personality when she dances. Kevin through out this series has played it safe, never challenged or push Louise in his choreography.
If anyone should be in the dance off and eliminated, it should be Louise, making it a Danny, Ore & Claudia final
She should have got voted off tonight sorry but she was the worst dancer, shame for claudia who danced far better!

Far too safe: she's the housewives' choice, who think they would like to leave the kitchen sink but can't dance either. Danny Mac is the best dancer since the show started 12 years ago.

I'm not a male chauvinist: Abbey Clancey and Natasha Kaplinsky were the best in their day. Louise Redknapp is just not in this class. The producers have skewed this series to keep her in by changing the swingathon and the judges fell over themselves to award the first Donnyten to a woman. Danny Mac is head and shoulders above the others this year and should win if housewives like yourself don't join up and conspire against him.

Great dance Louise as always, in my opinion by far the best dancer throughout ( I still miss Judge Rinder though!) I feel she is not getting enough credit. I would love to see her win .

Honestly, I found this very boring first time around, but I really didn't like the choice of music and that can heavily influence the feel of a dance. So I came back to give it another chance, while playing different music over it, and that really improved it for me. Still not great tho. 8's would've made more sense to me.

Technically she was very good. She covered the floor well, her footwork was clean too. Not a fan of the music though.

@@globalcoupledances they didn't dance samba.... they didn't dance gafiera samba. Gafiera Samba was born in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. This couple danced an ugly copy of our typical dance.
I think Louise is an amazing dancer and has improved a lot but clearly this wasn't her dance and I'm baffled as to how it scored higher then Claudia's rumba

I loved the choreography but she's so stiff.
Everyone gets on to Danny about his previous training and no one mentions Louise's previous dance training aswell which doesn't benefit her! Just goes to show Danny's dancing is due to practicing and a hell of a lot of TALENT

Claudia was the better dancer tonight and Louise should have been out,it's been obvious for a while the judges want her to win and they haven't nitpicked at her like they do with the others and have gone over the top with their praises for her average performances.
I think Louise did well with all the Samba moves but I didn't like the outfit. (I think wardrobe would have gone further with it, with more dangling fruit, but Louise wouldn't agree to it). I also think it's a difficult dance to put against the power houses of the American smooth, Argentine tango and Quick step as they are very dramatic.. I really hopes she makes it to the final.
