Finally, a samba performance which takes a lot of energy an quick movements and keeping up with the beat of the music. This couple surely carries them all out well. Just marvelous!
She was robbed of the title. She was the best dancer ever week.
She freely admitted she hated it but still delivered an excellent dance. Wins even when she is not playing well.
I thought this was really well done but I reeeeaalllyy wanted to see her move her hips more... That's my only complaint.. The rest was so fun, lively, she looked happy, and what a tune! So catchy! Oh and I love her hands in this! Great choreo from Giovanni here!
Ayesha Sha Sha! I don’t think she can move her hips anymore. It’s too much of a risk of pain. She looked as though she was enjoying the dance though ...

Ayesha Sha Sha! Prior to the show. That’s why she seems cautious. If you notice, she dances with the lower limbs and doesn’t twist much. It’s all in the feet and calves that she dances with.

Very good variety of Samba choreography, which she technically did well. Promenade runs were pretty well executed, and there was a good amount of hip action through the voltas. She just didn't seem very connected to this dance. All of the moves were executed well, but there was just something missing to make this fabulous. She seemed more unsure about this style (as compared to her Theatre/Jazz and Quickstep). No doubt, a nice dance for the Semifinals, though! 9.5.

She has nailed most of the routine. This samba had good amount of content, and Faye has shown, for most part, really lovely technique. Beautiful samba rolls, lovely promenade runs, great stationary samba walk, fantastic hands... However, her whisks and her voltas were technically weak - she didn't straight her legs and that effected her quality of movement and her hip action as well. Overall, she did very, very well, but not perfect. An 8.

I feel this s a lot more technically competent than many are suggesting which shows what a natural and joyful dancer Faye is- even when she clearly hates a genre of dance! Loved the bounce and the rondes. For once, I didn't like Gio's choreography as I felt it to be a little superfluous. It did feel to me like she had slipped back to the early weeks when she was struggling to really express the connection between her and her partner. And when she doesn't express it, it doesn't matter how good or bad the technique is, it isn't pleasing to watch. 8.
Was it just me that thought they looked like they weren't really enjoying this dance? It just looked a bit awkward for me tbh!
She looked like a ballet dancer trying to dance Samba. Legs too straight, no samba bounce (which starts at the centre of the body and ripples down). Her voltas were also not placed correctly either, the back foot was too far behind her body and the front foot travelled too far across giving it a ‘horse doing dressage’ look. She might have had a lot of dance training but she has not taken on the ballroom and latin footwork/technique which really she should have been able to!,
Alright geez cut her some slack this is the most difficult dance on strictly and she executed it really well. She’s not a professional dancer so you can’t expect her to look like one on every single dance. samba rolls are probably one of the most advanced moves in a samba and they were smooth and fluid and she did have bounce in some her of her steps. Her musicality was good and timing was perfect. There was a lack of hip action which made it look a little off but it was a good effort overall. The judges scores were appropriate, except the 10 from Bruno, and since they are the experienced ones I’d listen to what they have to say before just critiquing her every move.
Another Mark Ramprakash’s song choice (he danced Samba to this song too). You can’t fail to smile to this song, can you? First the good: she did that beautiful rondes on top of the the steps (training clips looked iffy). It’s a very complex routine and I can see Faye struggling with this routine (she aimed at executing the steps correctly but it’s very ‘textbook’ - i.e. not quite ‘natural’). She’s NOT comfortable with this dance, and it’s almost as if she’s apologising for this routine. I don’t feel it. 9
I did not like this at all. Maybe she seems a bit too uptight for it. I thought Ashley did a better job with the samba the other week. And Charles (well you know how I feel about him) may not have been technically as good, but he was way better.
But give Faye due respect, she did have two dances this week. She probably had two days practice plus her other dance was an AT. I actually think she has had the most interesting dances of the series.

Meh, not worthy the score. Ashley still have the best Samba of the series, followed by Stacey, Charles and then Faye. Also, the band sounds bored as hell here.

I go to a rio is a well used song in the past for competitions. Karen and giovanni used their knowledge for that. Maybe its a collection of their favourite sambas?
Very nice voltas, great rhythym, fantastic Samba rolls and great personality but she didn't have the personality for that piticular dance sadly because it was good *10/10*

Laura Dell I think she is just a humble person, that’s why. She doesn’t believe in herself and lacks confidence a lot of the time.

This was overmarked but Joe has been overmarked the last couple weeks outside of Lauren he the weakest by far.
Hmm, maybe because this was five times as good as Joe's dance.
@@joshjones5062 I couldn't agree more. This dance was definitely overmarked but I don't get all the moaning on TH-cam and Twitter over the contest being rigged. I actually think that Joe was overmarked as well.

You really have to get the phone votes sorted out as the good dancers are going too soon for average ones after all it’s a dancing contest we want to see mind blowing dancing as opposed to the struggles in life
i loved the song choice but i thought ashleys samba was better. judges maybe overmarked this a little
I saw a few mistakes but overall not terrible just not really her dance at all. I don’t like it. 7
Faye is trained in 12 styles of dance and yet acts all innocent when she gets praise from the judges. What a nerve. She is so fake and shouldn't even be on the show. Why does Ashley get so much grief and yet Faye gets none? I'm pretty sure Ashley isn't trained in 12 styles of dance. If anyone should be getting grief it's Fake Faye.

Faye Fake Tozer is a professional dancer and trained choreographer. She is trained in 12 dances and her cv includes salsa, jazz, folk and Bollywood and she has starred in a number of west end roles. She has even admitted herself that she was so surprised when she was asked to take part in the show due to her vast dancing experience. Yet it's Ashley Roberts that's been hit by an almighty backlash. Ashley is only trained in 4 dances and is not a professional choreographer so if anyone should be getting grief and backlash it's Fake Faye. What a nerve she's got. Acts all innocent when she's a fraud.

@@anonymouspeacefulperson6199 Faye deliberately hides her vast dance experience and the fact that she is a professional choreographer. She stands there all innocent when the judges give their critique like she's a complete novice and acts all shocked and surprised when she gets the high scores. Obviously being professionally trained in 12 different dance styles means she is bound to get high scores, no need to feign surprise. Faye also stands by and watches Ashley Roberts getting unfairly ripped to bits by the public for her dance experience and again keeps hers away from the public acting all innocent. What a nerve. At least Ashley hasn't hidden her dancing history and been honest with the public, unlike Faye. She won't win anyway because Stacey Dooley is going to win as she is honest and genuine, a lovely person and a far better dancer than Faye will ever be as she was a dance beginner unlike Faye who is a professional dancer and choreographer and had a huge advantage over the others, even Ashley.
I feel that Faye is extremely fake and if Ashley is getting a hard time then Faye should be getting an even harder one.
