Honestly, I quite love this movie. Just watched it yesterday. Its a hell of a lot of fun and it makes pretty good use of Sydney as a locale. It feels like a very bright and vibrant location. I know people find the action overly stylized but I honestly love that. And this scene had that "hell yeah!" moment when the twist is revealed. Ambrose's scream was priceless and the music cue changing with Ethan ripping off his Hugh mask was awesome.
I don't get how this wasn't reviewed more positively , it's such a great movie. The action scenes great, the shocks, the score.. it's one of the best mission impossible for sure
Pankaj Kumar I found it ok I guess, easy to go along with anyway. There's a few mission impossible and James bond films that have had such confusing plots I just completely lost track
I love the music change at 5:39...right when he takes his mask off. Brilliant editing. Also, Sean Ambrose and Hugh Stamp....the 2 villains in this film. What accent do they have? South African?

"Run That Bastard Down!" Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott) was the greatest villan of all MI movies. he have more of a sadistic and evil way for a character.

I didn't know that contract guy at first but when he portrayed Mad Eye moody, he brought his name forward and returning back to this scene i knew his name would be Brendan Gleeson.

I think 2 is either the best or tied with number one. I didn't like 3 as much, but still it was a great film yeah. MI2 has some of the best scenes definately though, like the injection sequence. I could watch that all day and not get bored =D

That dove was a symbol of Hunt's purity..he is the personification of determination & will pointed in the right direction.

This scene is one of the reasons why its one of my fav action movies, this, and the bulding shootout, the motercycle chase and the ending fight.

Nothing is more pleasing than seeing a psychotic villian realize that he just killed his own right-handman. Ambrose's scream was just epic.
