For the first one, the 'not guilty' one, it's the opposite for me. I'm older, and I get in trouble for everything my younger brother does, and he rarely gets in trouble.
The same was true for my family. I always got in trouble for every small thing I did, but he never got caught, and the few times he did, they just talked it out with him. Meanwhile, I got the yellings and beatings. However, in my case, I think a lot of it had to do with the fact my folks always wanted a boy, and I wasn't... lol It also had to do with the fact I was EXPECTED to know everything, and he wasn't, because I was older. So when I "misbehaved," they got a LOT more upset about it than anything he did.
