Thanks for having me; it was definitely a fun experiment to be a part of! For me personally, most of my experience comes from ~100 BB games in LA, so I'm less accustomed to super deep play. Other than that, I did my best to answer as honestly as I could! p.s. in the A8 hand, I didn't catch I was chopping with lower aces in the moment, but doesn't really change my answer.
This is probably the most useful video you’ve ever uploaded and that’s saying a lot because all your videos are very helpful. I’ve saved this one so I can rewatch it multiple times.
In Brantzens defense on the last hand is probably best for the games he plays in, so his perspective is skewed. Don’t know how much 20/40 he plays but in typical 5/5 or lower it may not be wise to try to bluff them off a nut flush as played. Too often they will just call saying if you got it you got it. They may be nits but some hands will be too strong for them to fold
more of these please! really cool to see how people play these spots - and absolutely disgusted to realise I would've folded to the x/r in hand 3... still a long way to go but i found it really cool to actually write down thoughts and think along with these guys.
On the KQ hand, is there ever merit to checking back flop? I feel like it’s hard to get value from much since worse Qs are 2pair hands in a 3bet pot. Also allows your opponent to start turning hands like J9, T9, 99,88 into a bluff.
Awesome content. Would love more of these. I'm quite happy to have ended up somewhere between the mid and high stakes pro. Took most of their lines but didn't always squeeze the last value out of it like the HSP.
So I’ve only watched the first hand but my one critique is - who am I playing against? Saying “rec” is too wide. There are some fish I play against where this check raise is such a strong range I could see an argument for dumping the hand on the flop and some that are so clueless I could be ahead still on the flop(clicking buttons raise). Other than that I love everything about this first hand.
Like the Idea! in terms of content i can see why you waited for the breakdown at the end, however in terms of teaching, i think a break down immediately following the decisions made might have a more linear path of thought to learning, sort of like your other videos! thanks for the upload and creativity!
Sick content; you have me regret going with another training site’s BF offer, but here we are. I think n big difference between these LA games and the ones in Chicago how deep low stakes tends to play here. Everyone at 300BB+ deep here just isn’t a thing till 5/19, and 5/19 here plays humongous, like 3K/5K buy ins often for regs. I don’t doubt your skills bc you’re insane deep, but I do find myself wondering if a lot of 3B strategies just won’t work against 130BB stacks when openers are 5X and were 3B out of position so much. Anyway, thanks for the content, and if you have some insane promos next yr, I am in.
Obviously the lower stakes guy is going to be more careful. Most low stake players will call you down more often with crappy hands. Such as mediocre flushes 2 pairs and forget about trips or straights , they think they have the nuts. Higher stakes players are analyzing every street

KQ: I would have gone 150 flop, call xraise, bet a size for 2 spr for river jam because he doesn't have a flush, jam river. The line of the high stakes pro at the end made by far the least sense because none of villain sets and straights are folding for less than 1 spr. None of the bets actually were trying to do or fold anything, leaving him with a non scary shove on the river. You just gave him the only hand that would fold here, which is J10. The tidbit you included at the end that 6000$ is a lot of money suddenly includes the fact that villain plays out of his league, because he turns chips and BBs into dollars, which was not information given prior. A8: was in a similar spot yesterday with having 3bet 78s (not with a matching flush) on pretty much exact runout. I tripple barrelled into him because he has none of the AQ, AK, AA, KK, QQ and that's that. He 100% had an Ace. JJ: Against aggressive opponents, I show weakness with my best hands and strength with my good hands, because aggressive players bank on aggression, not responding to aggression. So I would raise flop to show strength early on and dissuade him from bluffing further streets, keeping up the aggression myself.

Wow! What a fantastic format! Hope you'll do more of these -- super entertaining and very educational. Greatest free poker content on YT by a mile!
3-bet river shove against OMC when we have blockers to the nuts is way above my current level of thinking. Please do more videos like this one!
🥰🥰

Im finding this in my 1/3 games as well people just tank forever...then I get the oh well I want to go home anyways. call with nut low flush

This is a great video Marc! Very unique idea I like it!
🥰🥰🥰
8:59 the fish cant even multiply 350 by 3 😜
Brill vid; only improvement would be to give a total profit over the 4 hands for each player

Should do more videos like this just to see the different lines you can take

Lol the later hands he does exactly what I am describing here.

So the mid stakes and high stakes players would have gotten stacked if the nut flush called? 😂 so in essence Bran made the correct play?
Max EV the difference!!??
S-Tier content !!

All of them played to their level. You need to get a better coach.
Excellent video! The brain that thought of this and then put it together in such a digestible presentation deserves thunderous applause 👏👏👏

Do these first two player not realize the A8hand their kicker doesn’t play when they say targeting weaker ace or am I stupid
they didn’t realize, hard to take everything in with shot clock and cameras and pressure on!

@hungryhorsepoker Christmas came early this year!

How you gonna not specify what hand
Terrible video. Didnt smooch a single guest.
