I know it’s not known for it’s sick bassline or anything, but this is the song that made me finally buy my bass. 😌 this bassline is addictive! I’m glad for the tutorial, I tried learning it with online tabs and........let’s just say this is much better
I'm also starting to learn the bass and this song became one of my favorites to play. I picked it out one day randomly and now I always have a go at it everyday for some fun.
Tabs are great when you know the timing of the bass part but if I don't, I watch cover videos. Between the two I can usually figure out the song

Is there a reason you play the intro with all down picks?
+Moist Snail Poop I really think there's a slight sound difference between alternate and all downstrokes. So i kept the way the original bassist played that part

Using a single motion makes sure you do the same thing over and over again getting a more consistent sound and rythm, which is why some people play with one finger too
