Fascinating video! This looks like such an interesting place to visit. Being able to imagine what life was like back then. This video really put into perspective for me how it was to cross the Atlantic in such a ship. The furniture maker was also cool. It's always fun to imagine history in such a hands-on way. Your video translates that perfectly, while not overexposing the experience.
Wow!! Roanoke Island Festival Park looks so lovely, my beautiful friends! 😍 How awesome they invited you to return. The merchant ship depicting ships of 1585 - STUNNING! The interpreter is staying fit!! 💪🏼 The blacksmith too. I’d love exploring the Adventure Museum. (Kenny and I took many trips visiting the Navajo in Northern Arizona. Honestly, some of the prettiest, pristine land I’ve ever seen in my life).🙌🏼😍 Thank you so much for this fantastic, informative video. Fully enjoyed, as always! Hello to your kind hubby. He has a great voice, btw!!! Happy, relaxing Labor Day to you both! ❤
Its nice that exhibits were open that were previously closed. Can you imagine using old tools to create and the additional hours necessary to do everything? In recent years I've come to really appreciate museums and the stories they tell of our history.
We enjoyed visiting Roanoke Island Festival Park with you Jack and Alice. Happy you returned! Would love to take the ship tour and feel just a little what like would have been like to sail across. The seeing the wonderful settlement re-creation with it's interactive displays. Such a tough life with an unknown ending. Loved the tour with you both.
Those Colonists where not nice people. Thank goodness we have come a long way. Very informative and enjoyed the history of the indigenous people. Great little ship. Imagine what life was like for those people living in those circumstances for 6 to 8 weeks. Those old trades where amazing. Great to hear about the two pacs. Great museum full of interesting historical exhibits. Thank you for taking us along Alice and Jack, a great place to visit. 🤠🙏🏼👍🏼❤
Very cool they encouraged you to come back! Looks like a very cool and historical place to visit :) My boys are in online school and the 5th grader is learning all about this stuff right now!
Thanks so much for sharing. It was a wonderful video. Glad you got to go back and get the full experience. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie. Thanks for taking me a long.
Visiting this place offers a unique glimpse into colonial life. Exploring the ship would be quite intriguing. It's a captivating destination,👌. Thanks for sharing your experience - you've done an excellent job, as always!
Thanks for taking us along with you to Roanoke Island Festival Park. We have never visited here before and appreciate your video. Andy Griffith's gravesite is in Manteo, but unfortunately it is on his private farm and not open to the public. Would love to visit to show my respects. Enjoyed your video!
Loved the creepy music with this video! Because it was kinda creepy that they all disappeared, even though they just merged with another tribe! So awesome that the museum asked you guys to visit again!
Very cool visit to Outer Banks! A lot of historical things to see 🙂 I can only imagine how it felt living on that ship! Price is not bad too.. thanks for sharing guys!
I would love to visit the outer banks of North Carolina. Such a wonderful place to go to learn what it was like to live as a colonist. Beautiful ship recreation. Very detailed. Great demonstration of the blacksmith and furniture maker. Also, nice exhibits inside the museum. So nice that some were interactive. Thanks for all the wonderful information and very professional narration. Have a great week.
Cool they reached out and invited you back. Always better when places are at their full potential. You never told us… did you produce your 100 table legs??? 😂
Together, we completed 0.5 table legs - so we are not up to the professional colonial table leg manufacturing standard yet. Maybe one day. Maybe not. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!
Outer Banks is something I keep telling my family about after watching your videos. So cool you guys are true influencers that places ask you to visit. Colonel Times had to be so tough. My favorite thing was that ship. Can’t believe how affordable it is. In Chicago I have paid $69 to just park.
So sorry I missed this one you guys! I have always wanted to visit the Outer Banks. So nice the park watched your video and encouraged you to return again to get the full experience since there were no interpreters last time. THat's really great! The Elizabeth 2 is so cool! I love old ships like this. Amazing it would have carried 50 people across the ocean. 6-8 weeks at sea on this ship would have been unimaginable :( The early colonial settlement is really cool to see too. Love seeing the supplies they had. So cool seeing the interpreter show how they made table and chair legs, that looks exhausting haha. The Adventure Museum, so interesting! Love seeing the old outfits and exhibits of Roanoke Island's history. Great video as always you guys :) Thanks for sharing with us!
We really enjoyed visiting Roanoke Island Festival Park. It is a fascinating historical site. Thanks for watching - and for taking the time to comment!

A really interesting telling of the story of Roanoke Island. It looks a great stop off when touring. The costumed interpreters were doing a great job.

استمتعت كثيرا شكرا❤❤❤
The indigenous population did not take too kindly to colonizers!
