Great reaction, I've been listening to Periphery since the very beginning in 2010 with their first self titled album. I usually go back to Periphery 1&2 and sometimes 3 because those were my best Periphery moments, but every album they put out slaps harder than a piranha slapping me with its tail, instead of biting me with its teeth, can't wait for the next continuation in their band's musical journey.

Next for u from Periphery...Satellites (showcases Spencer's vocal range) and Reptile (long, epic masterpiece)

If he does do satellites, he should show his daughter... she loved lune, she'll love satellites.

Listened with the video the first time, watched a reaction... then listened while driving and am now hooked. This song might be my favorite they've done and I've been here for it since the start

Funny you mention Final Fantasy, because Misha said on a podcast that Nobuo Uematsu (composer on FF7-10) is in his top-two biggest influences (along with Meshuggah, obviously). There's even a song on their new album called "Thanks Nobuo"

Mind blown 🤯Ok it's Periphery, I expected nothing less, but it needs to be said. Because it's why I love it, along with perfect songwriting and musicianship. And also they always satisfy my appetite for weird. Great reaction!

I saw you reacting to new Periphery and I automatically assumed you were going to love it!!! I audibly said it when I saw it! 😂 You rock, man!

Aha, Smooth Jazz is a thing with these guys from time to time bro, they did some of this stuff on their earlier release, Juggernaut, and it works so well. Nothing’s off limits for them! Also, with Wildfire, the saxophonist Jørgen Munkeby (who’s a friend of Misha’s and Mark’s) has played on both of Haunted Shores’ albums, which is just Mark and Misha essentially taking some of the heavier stuff that doesn’t make the Periphery cut 😂👀 Now he (Munkeby) features on a Periphery track 😂🤯

It ain’t stupid bro! 😂 They have a pretty extensive backlog at this point lmao, one of my favourite bands for sure haha!! 👌🏼

The video makes me think they ran their video through an AI filter. Love the prog here.

What a fun reaction! I knew you would like the song.... And the Carlton was a great catch.
I caught Spencer on another reaction channel talking about how they made the video and all the footage is live and then layered with AI art. So when you see Spencer dancing it is him and the people in the video are also actors/ dancers and the city shoots are real then there are countless # of AI layers morphing the images.... Resulting in a very trippy and cool video!
Your next Periphery should be Reptile.
    Cheers🤘

Video was filmed live and then AI art tweaked it. Love this band!

Been listening to periphery for 12 years now (holy shit) and it’s so cool to see other metalheads discovering them for the first time. Would love for you to check out some more Melodeath. Maybe some Ghost Brigade? Hint hint.

@@OldSkuleNerd I can't believe I forgot to respond to this. Actually, I'm gonna give you the opposite - here's a track off of their highly regarded second album. I've never seen anyone react to this song, would be super interested to see your take.
