She is giving birth to in fertile eggs and rarely 1 or 2 fry...
This is called premature birth and this happens when the fish is in stress.....
You should provide a bigger tank and provide lots and lots of hiding place for the fry....
Mother can eat themm...

My molly died while giving birth😖
Your fish was in a lot of stress. Their eggs rarely fry, even just 1-2. You might need to look into a bigger tank, plants, hiding spots, and rocks. Rocks make them very happy and give them things to eat off of. I’d recommend live plants because mollies reproduce every few weeks, and they can get hungry. They feed off of live plants from time to time. A 20 gallon tank is the most recommended, even for one molly. Decor provides hiding spots, giving them a lovely feeling of trust, knowing if something were to go wrong they could hide. Also, a fun little play time. My molly loves racing around them. (I’ve looked into it, it’s normal for some depending on personality.) I am not a fish expert but I know mollies depend on trust and many other things, and it’s also my favorite type of fish so I care a lot for them.
I can tell you are a beginner you are over exaggerating things there are always exceptions to everything when it comes to fish this might have even been temporary just for the fish to have birth. No offense btw just trying to educate more people

I couldn't watch all of this due to fact not only is the poor Molly stressed but there is no safe place for the fry to have a chance. That's just mean. Least put some gravel and a plant to give a few a chance and her not be so stressed about the other fish in the tank.

Uh, she is way overstressed AND she was eating her fry. I saw 2 fry born at same time and she ate one of them. You need something for the fry to hide in.

Rainbow Sparkles fry cage, or provide with lots of hiding places. But you can also buy floating plants so that the fry can hide up there.

What a traumatic birth. Poor girl, i hope she survived. Needed better conditions, larger tank, plant cover etc. Looks like some got stuck and she was having trouble getting them free. Poor thing. If you took her from usual tank and put into that little tank just for the video, thats very sad. We have ours in a huge heavily planted tank and bread constantly. There very happy.

My black molly just gave birth tonight. Wasn’t intending on having babies, and now I have 18... I’ve never had baby fish either, so I’m not really sure what to do, but they are separated from the adults, and they already ate. Sadly one passed away, but you have to accept that I guess.

Don't know how I ended up here, but this is fascinating.
My ballon molly had 8 babies and at the top of the tank I found a yellow ball floating and I thought it was just a little yellow ball and I grabbed it and chucked it on the floor 😩😬😥 at least the others survived

This is not a "normal" delivery, she is in distress because she is in extreme pain for her oviduct prolapse difficulting the whole process.
my molly and platy give birth in the main tank, with betta fish inside. Many babies survive. There is lots of hiding spot and plant in my tank. And they probably give birth when the light is off lol.
