I never would’ve expected the brake line routed into it, thanks for the heads up!

fun fact you can take that clip off the brake line and make enough clearance to zip a slot in that old strut with a cut off wheel and slide the line out (if you live in the rust belt and its your own car) do the same with the new strut and pin the line back into place with the clip and no one will have a clue what you did but you.

After finally getting the old one off the new one wouldn’t fit so I tried compressing the spring but now the bolts at the top won’t line up with the bracket at the bottom

So I got to bleed the brakes how do I do that?

Am I going to have to bleed the brakes when I’m finished?
    Thank you!!!

Hello, thank you for posting your question. Yes, if and when you disconnect the brake lines air is introduced to the system, so bleeding will be needed. Keep me posted. Have a great day and God bless you 🙏

@@drunkjonboyNo idea if you still need this but watch chrisfixes video everything’s identical (for basically every car). Only costs like $20-$30 to do and it’s very easy

Do you need an alignment after replacing the rear struts?. Thanks for your reply.

It is always recommended to check alignment after major components are replaced.
