Purple Dragon the new version of this game was hard the first robot arms was Easier than all the other characters to beat if I played this version it would be hard to though lol.
I beat Robotnik once in 22 seconds by complete accident, and I don't even know how I did it. This was many years ago, so I couldn't replicate it today without a lot of luck.
Crhsi I beated the new version a few times I haven't played the old version which is this but I bet this would be is this better than sonic labyrinth and sonic blast which maybe is less stupider than sonic racing not the sonic and Sega all stars racing game the one were sonic and his friends race on land running with their feet I played both sonic racing on sonic gems collection on GameCube before I got that from a game convenient in may in from Ohio state but sonic and Sega all stars racing was better than sonic racing for Sega Daren and sonic gems collection for Gamecube though Double lol.

EDIT- 9:38 P.M.: *finishes longplay 32 minutes later* I'm glad that Stage 9 changed things up. Hearing the same song for eight consecutive stages really got on my nerves!
This game had another version of it the version that I played was on the mega drive and it was on sonic's sonic's genesis collection on the PS3 and that version was hard to beat the only characters I got to beat 1 time that robot was Arms and almost for Coconuts the little annoying monkey robot Brat on my god I played it around one or two time and I beaten the game but third time was getting hard because of trying to beat spike on stage 9 and it's not hard though but it is a challenging game.
I played both versions on Sonic Mega Collection Plus and I always found this one to be offputtingly ugly compared to the Genesis version, but now I wonder why the Genesis version didn't have that mission mode.
This version of the game is more nostalgic to me than the Megadrive version.
And to think i still suck at Puyo Puyo

The mega drive version of this changed it up slightly by making the music from stages 5 - 8 faster than 1 - 4
Mega drive version was released before Game Gear & master system versions.
