Purely legendary!! This is the real Little River Band that we've known for so many years. They sure haven't lost a step at all with these classic timeless masterpieces. The "Night Owls" is among one of their best songs and it sounds so amazing right here. This is what you call extremely pure talent. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rock band right here,!!!!
Band was formed when I was born, grew up listening to them on the radio and still one of my favourite bands to this day. Legends of Aussie music industry
Love these guys! First saw LRB live on tour in 1977 with Boz Scaggs. They opened up for Scaggs and absolutely stole the show. Harmonizing vocals like no other.
really nice version. this song was written in a more "rock" format than their usual songs and still holds its head high today. The strength of LRB ( yeah i said it, they will always be the only LRB ) is their vocal harmonies and this song shows it beautifully , and of course the many brilliant songs they all wrote. I still believe they are the best band to ever come out of Oz but somehow got overlooked on the worlds stage. here at home they are the Kings. Thank you Graeham Beeb + Glen

Beeb walked right past me as I was walking down the laneway in Richmond on my way home. He came out of a recording studio and was leaving. I think that place was called “Stone Deaf Studios” and was at Gordon Street, Richmond, Victoria. I have no idea what he was doing there that day. It was many decades ago. Beeb looked right at me.
Wasn’t it in the scene where the radio blows up in dudes face? I’ve always associated it w/that scene anyway. Remember seeing it when it was in rotation on HBO. Radio bomb and the Pillow Case Soda Beatdown were unforgettable lol
Funny Graham chose Mr. Nelson to do the lead. I've watched a recent interview where he freely says he wrote it for Wayne to sing. Be honest...That band was falling apart long before Nelson or Housden joined.
That's also a fair statement. Wayne is a decent singer but I do think this guy sings this song a little better even if it was written for Wayne in mind.
@@mattharris5067 are you kidding? You obviously know little about Wayne Nelson and the theft of the band's name. Wayne Nelson had no hand in writing the tune and these three guys show that giving him the lead on the original was unnecessary
@@christopherwood2290 Nelson was absolutely b grade compared to Shorrock at the time, that's why he is lead vocalist one only one hit. He has gotten obviously worse with age and continues to use the originals in marketing and most of the show are songs the band had hits with before he even joined.
The MUCH BETTER VOCAL version of this LRB classic! Beeb should have sang lead on the original imo. Beeb sings this song with much more passion and pride. The other guy Nelson was just an amateur fill in at best in comparison to Beeb.
The REAL & ORIGINAL Little River Band!

This is my favorite song from the band!
The REAL little river band.
This is what music is meant for! One of the most underrated Rock Songs in history.
Underrated would imply that it was great but not noticed. In fact it was great and very popular when it came out.
Bloody awesome! Timeless classic that’s never sounded better 👏🏼👏🏼
BSG -- WONDERFUL jam!!!
thx for posting !!!!

The heart and soul of the Little River Band..... Shorrock, Gobel and Britles.
Or...perhaps...Birtles Shorrock Goble.
Brilliant. Great stuff from BSG. Simon Hosford on lead guitar was fire!!
I'd definitely pay $$ to see these guys sing authentic LRB music...
Still listening to LRB October 30, 2022
They just get better with age these absolute legends
The one and only! Anything less is a cover band.
Oh my God, that harmonized guitar. They still have it! And how!
One of the most iconic bands ever! Am I the only one that sings along with every song?

What a Great Band, Shrook what a Super voice you still have.
Good!
Great song……..been haunting me ever since I heard it at the Zoot Reunion………even got me into Little River Band, thanks!
Awesome!!!! This is such a great song - love it!!!!
sir can you upload the whole video on this, thank you
They are the best
They are awesome but the original version with Wayne Nelson doing lead vocals was amazing.
The BEST🤷♀️
you dont need the paper boy these are the originals the real thing
Too bad he can't sing anymore.
Sweet 🤙
Go the mighty Hos!
Who remembers this song in the early 80's movie featuring a very young Sean Penn ??
Lol, Bad Boys. Good movie. Although Sean Penn is not much to be desired. Arrogance is not becoming
Wasn’t it in the scene where the radio blows up in dudes face? I’ve always associated it w/that scene anyway. Remember seeing it when it was in rotation on HBO. Radio bomb and the Pillow Case Soda Beatdown were unforgettable lol
Fucking amazing.
Missing Wayne On This Song
Not if you heard him recently.
I was wondering why this sounded a little weird, then I remembered Wayne Nelson originally sang lead.
Beeb did a much better job singing this live than Wayne does with the current "fake" lineup of LRB, and Wayne was the original singer.
wayne was a mistake to ever be brought in to lrb ,just one of those jackasses to take advantage of something he never created just a newspaper boy
They should have recorded this song with Beeb on Lead vocals rather than Nelson
Wayne who?

How come the 4th best vocalist in the band at the time got the lead on this one?
noteatpig2getha I didn’t think it was a competition
@@mattharris5067 are you kidding? You obviously know little about Wayne Nelson and the theft of the band's name. Wayne Nelson had no hand in writing the tune and these three guys show that giving him the lead on the original was unnecessary
Nelson was new and Goble wanted to welcome him to the band.
You have go to be kidding. The guy is a tremendous vocalist.

🤣you got jokes wrestling🦻
@@katamedo5703 Wayne Nelson can't sing anymore.
@@sallywilliams5444 That may be so, but his vocal on the original recording is the best
