Look at these beautiful guys..just hanging and looking and sounding so good for all their years on the planet..life seems better when l know they’re always there for me..🇨🇦
Feast your eyes, and listen closely to an absolutely legendary band: The Little River Band. This would be the type of song that puts a big smile on all faces, and it just doesn't get old like the others. The amazing example of this beautiful song, sounds exactly like the originally recorded one on their studio record, released in 1981. These guys have aged, but haven't lost a thing. They still got it together as though they released all their music just yesterday. I find that very incredible. God bless them all!! Most bands age, and usually don't sound the same after many years time. This is a wonderful get together of these incredible musicians, playing this, that is my very favorite song of theirs. The Night Owls is great too.🎵🎶🎼
No longe little river band. Now BSG Sold the right to the LRB name. Now the band that tours under that name is a tribute band. One member was on a few songs in the 80’s. Basically scamming the fans. You see in the heading it even has BSG in parentheses
@@janinemartin9045 Yeah, I misspoke. But it’s pretty sad when you don’t protect your name and are outmaneuvered by a Johnny come lately to the band. I agree it’s now a scam band charging 200.00 dollars plus for tickets and many of the fans have no clue they aren’t seeing a single “real” contributing member on stage
@@Oldcrow77 that's the sad part people think they are buying tickets to the original LRB. Yes the name should've been protected big mistake. The American ones need to write their own music.
Glen Sher is an Australian Idol & the best vocalist of LRB with all Due Respect to My Hero John Farnham. Loved this band since 1978 when I was 6 yrs & heard their song in My School fest.
40 years after it's release and these three sound as if it was just yesterday. Love the song and the memories that come with it. Bravo BSG! And always loved that drum kick at the end...
@@johnhoward5389 If you are talking about the official touring band using the LRB name, then yes you are right...all Americans now. But right here is half of the original LRB, namely the 3 main singers, as well as a backing band of mostly Aussies. Much better.
Absolutely amazing, I grew up listening to the little River band with my parents as a little boy, I absolutely love their music and they will go down in history as one of the greatest band's of all time.
I just read a comment where somebody said they were the Australian Eagles…. which I think is pretty accurate. Their songs have held up and it appears their voices have too. Bravo!
Wow, you guys must have traveled a long ways to your games every week being way up north. Ours were all close by, Grand Rapids, MI. Thanks for listening.
@@tonycompeau2170 Cool! Played in the Gus Macker 3 on 3 basketball tournament in Alpena one year. I remember the long drive. Beautiful country up there.
Just beware If you buy tickets to see little river band. They won’t be there. For whatever reason they sold the name and it’s now just a tribute band. They can’t use the name They are now BSG.
@@Oldcrow77 Confused...so the tribute band goes by the name BSG? Are there original members of LRB still touring and THEY'RE using BSG? Or is the tribute band known as the Little River Band?
Sounds just like 40 years ago....right up to Wayne's part. Beeb is a fantastic singer. But my 14 year old mind says Wayne needs to sing that part. Glad he pushed for that song all those years ago. Nice high note at the end Glenn😉 like Wayne and John Farnham did in Germany in the mid 80's. I remember the video and your ending was much more subdued. With that said....Carry on😊
Goodness, what a great day to find this wonderful musical gem from the past. To see and hear the LRB together after such a long time playing one of their best is really what brings me back to YT day after day. These guys are true legends.
My first concert (rock) was LRB back in 81' I think... Still appreciate them. Very few bands can do vocals like LRB.. Beach Boys and Eagles... but great vocals indicate talent and separate the gold from the garbage.
This sounds incredible! I remember my mom had this on an 8-track (I think? It got stuck in her car that summer, so I was perfectly happy with that!) and I was either 3 or 4 years old, and I still adore the music as much now as I did then. The harmonies here are beautiful and so satisfying. Thank you for sharing!
The REAL Little River Band!!
THEY SOUND AS GOOD AS THEY DID WHEN THEY FIRST MADE THE SONG... THESE GUYS ARE THE HARMONY OF HARMONY
One of the most underrated bands in history! These guys are one of the very best!
Underrated by who? What an ignorant and uninformed statement. Utterly disrespectful.
Here they are with time added to their lives grey and balding, but they sound just as good as they did back in 1980's.
Beautiful voice
2022 here. Im 50 years old and still listen to this all the time. Best times ever. There awesome. Older you get the better they get
Still got harmony great!
2024 and still listening to this wonderful band!
My favorite LRB song. I was 16 years old when it came out. Time flys.
You aren't kidding time flies! I'm 64 and have loved them since a young teen as well! 😄
This was my first favorite LRB song as well. Now I gotta go with We Two with Farnham on vocals.
They haven't lost it. They still sound great. Amazingly good music from one of the best bands ever.
If anything they sound better! The harmonies are more well-developed here than in the studio version. Love it!

Yeah, to bad they sold the name and the band touring as LITTLE RIVER BAND is just a tribute band. Very sad.
What year is this? They sound Amazing

This is the lineup of the group I tend to listen for over all the other iterations that came after.
Beware. If you by LRB tickets. You won’t see them.
Sold the name for whatever reason
They have to go by BSG.
LRB is just a tribute band now.
Still here in 2021! They don’t make them like this anymore! Truly real music! I’m so grateful to grow up listening to these guys.
Real music, for sure. I love their songs. Thanks so much for watching, listening and commenting :))
Jim
Me too, I dated with them in the background, and drank beer on the country roads, doesn’t get any better.
One of the best bands around.
Fantastic voice.
Beeb can still sing the bridge like no other.
Not like Wayne though🤷♀️😉
3 beautiful Aussie singers.
Sound the same as they did 40+ years ago. The one and only LRB!
No exactly. They sold the name for whatever reason
They can’t use it. Go by BSG
The Little river band is just a tribute band now.

Awesome band
Glen sounds fantastic!
Added bonus, different from the studio version, Glen's falsetto at the end.
Those harmonies wow
I really like their greatest hits the 12 songs.
At the top of their game.
Still sounds Great with most of the original lineup..

Beeb is cool & hilarious. Watch some of their 80's footage. He was constantly high on blow.
Glad to see him upfront
Early 80s, broken fam but songs like this helped.
Aussie answer to the eagles brilliant harmonies.
None of the original band.... ALL AMERICANS. the songs are still great though...

I love how he tells the story as he sings. It touches the soul.
Take a listen to Bob Seger and Jim Croce and maybe even Ronnie Milsap and Marshall Tucker.
So many great songs from this amazing band. One of my favorites growing up. Life was good.

Me Too!! Thanks for watchin'.
Me too!
I’m still addicted to their music
Their sound never changed. As always, LRB class-A1 !
Glenn Frey of the Eagles loved Little River Band and their harmony. Glenn played with them a few times, but he never took center stage.
LRB, LIKE A FINE BOTTLE OF WINE. JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER.
Just brilliant Jim!! LOVE this song!! Nothing beats those harmonies!! These 3 Adelaide musicians were the heart & soul of the band. Cheers Tiger.

So, the 3 of them are Australians?
Thanks for the info brother.
Living legends… and I quote Mr. Fry: “The worlds greatest signing band”

WOW...
Why does Glenn have a handheld mic attached to a wire? He needs both hands to do the "snaps & swing" moves like he did in 1981
