      Just a stamina thing most likely, you try playing these songs for 30mins and not bend flat or pause for a line or two. The part that bothered me was always how he handled the bends in nicks solo. Somethings off when he learned that one

    I was considering watching this live today but can’t justify $75 since I’m broke right now. I also am less of a “polyphia fan” so much as a Tim fan. I hate to say that because his band mates work so hard but I wish Tim was a soloist.

      @@xborg3236 Have you played any of their songs? You're back and forth across the fretboard at such high speeds and hitting so many harmonics that it's really hard to play perfectly. It's disingenuous to compare with other guitarists who aren't playing parts that require as much precision.

      Agreed, Henson (and others of that style) is the start of a new chapter in the electric guitar's history. Notice also how the audience actually stands and watches/listens as opposed to leaping about like a bunch of idiots. Reminds me of the days of Hendrix and early Zeppelin gigs where the crowd actually took notice of the artist.

      Agreed. Dont get me wrong - they are amazing musicians who are redefining their instruments. (I applaud them for that) But "trap" beats in general are very repetitious. A actual singer on atleast a couple of songs would make it more interesting. Still very cool though.

      Just because they have multiple melodies in one song or because they play fast doesn't mean there is no melody, most their music, especially the latest stuff is very melodic. The fact that I can sing (out of tune but still) most of their riffs is pretty much evidence of that
