@@elmoblatch9787 The music definitely doesn’t lack heart, songs like all falls apart proves this differently. I ask that you remove your bias and look at it with an open view. There songs are definitely memorable too, their riffs stick with me, and are hard to forget

@@sr60030 Pretty common with bands with high post production and intricate parts. That stuff is impossible to play perfect live, so the live performances have to be 'simplified'.

Was at this exact show too. Right before the show began I was walking outside the back of the building with my brother and ran into Clay Gober. My brother has met him a couple times before from things like the VIP stuff. Clay remembered him and we had a great talk, plus he got us free merch!

I really Love Polyphia. The downside of this super complex music is that when played live, it sound messy at times. the drummer seems the most consistent both live and on tape.

They messed up a few times brother, they are still exceptional players and AWESOME. but if u listen to these tracks on the studio recording u can tell where they improvised and messed up, this was STILL AWESOME THO!! Love polyphia

I’m the guy who threw the marker to Scott lmao. I had two markers in case they didn’t have any during the meet and greet. I used to work in a warehouse and for some reason we only used huge ass permanent markers, glad it came in handy.

The literal glue of the group, they’re all literally INSANE. But without clay on drums to keep the beat alive in between these super intricate sections a lot of these bangers would fall flat.

Hello all! My bf and I have been listening to SO MUCH Polythia lately. I’m actually not super into the genre, but I absolutely love all of this. The Ogden Theater (fav venue where bf and I met years ago) is so close to my heart. Idk about the lighting design though.. I like it, but maybe a little less mega flash from those main lights? Especially in the beginning. I actually may just be getting old😂

Scott LePage of Polyphia is one of the band’s two guitarists. If you’re unfamiliar with the band, they were formed in 2010 and its roots are progressive metal. Their powerful sound helped them acquire notoriety at first. Later, their sound became more mainstream, merging guitar with rap/hip-hop music to produce a distinctive sound.
