I believe this was actually mixed back in the Napster days. Reallyyyyyyyyyy long ago by internet standards. Anyway, back then, it was easy to get file names wrong. One way or another, this mix made it onto the net under this name.
And 8 years longer than that I just felt that same relief. I had this song on a CD a friend made for me probably like 16 years ago. Haven't been able to find it until now.

damn i remember this song when i was young took me so long to find this idk why i randomly decided to search on youtube for megaman techno remix and this came up and i was like yesssss this is it! i had a cd with this song on it when i was young my best friends older brothers would burn random cd's and they would give me random ones at times. and one time this song was on one. and i was like dude this is so good haha and it just said megaman techno remix in sharpie on the cd. for years and years i still had the cd and then i put it into my itunes lib and added the song to my ipod ( NOW DEAD) but man its cool to stumble across this song. thanks for the upload of this. brings back some core childhood early 2000's memories.
i think it may have been from a newgrounds animation that used this song that was mega man themed, not sure if that is how it got associated with megaman for sure though
I remmember downloading this off limewire called Megaman by Linkin Park lol. obviously its not by them but at the time I thought it was so cool that they would make a track like this. I imagined Joe Han making it even though if they would have made this it would be by mike shinoda. Was a cool imagination
