#Noita
Hell yeah, Noita. Let's go!
Hey look, it's the guy 👍
YOOOO IT'S FURY FORGED HELLO THERE
@@mesut3284 Hi
YEAHHHHH
The GOAT of noita guides
There's no way any of us are touching grass anytime soon.
both of them
The devs knew this, why else would they add a touch of grass spell?
Wdym, i eat grass in noita all the time?
Every run starts in grass. Close enough for me.
Yes I checked grass there is no secret. Looking in a desert now
Hey that's me! Thanks so much for the shoutout! Super happy to see so many new people discovering one (if not the) best single player games of all time.
Hey, your video got me back into Noita after a 3 year break! Great content man!
me too! Got my first victory today.
thanks for your awesome video that I already watched twice ! hope it brings more people to this fantastic game
It was thanks to your video I decided to give Noita another shot. Because of me 4 other friends started playing as well
I was watching your Stardew Valley video on my lunch break lol
Going check out the Noita one now.
Edit: I have apparently already watched it. Let's go again anyways.
You know when a game says "Final Update Part Two" then you have something good that the community loves too much to leave alone. This happened with Terraria, they kept saying they were done but then they kept adding more stuff. "Journey's End" became "Rounding Out The Journey" and then we got a crossover update and then "Labor of Love". Can't wait for Noita's next update.
Basically Nolla pulled a Terraria
And there is still another terraria update in progress
Not to mention 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 were all supposed to be "the last update". Journey's End was supposed the be "the last update for real this time" XD
@@HackersRUs That's what I thought, I just couldn't find the info. Terraria and Noita are games that weren't allowed to die.
After over a year of edging
It's finally here
For legal reasons, I'm obliged to explain:
It came.
It came
It came
It came
It came
It came
Not only the new update, Thor also played it 2 days ago.
My friend was going to get this game when it went on sale and this update just came in clutch
I want to let you know that your videos made the difference for me. It took me from "I can't get anywhere and it's frustrating" to actually grasping some of the systems and getting into NG+ and killing optional bosses. Looking forward to the new content.
Hey! New guy to Noita here. I started watching Albino and his streams about Noita but never really interested me because it was too complex, but I started watching one of your videos/guides; the Noita Sun Quest, and even though I dont understand a lot of things it helped me decide to buy the game. I've been doing some runs (which have been disastrous xD) and I'm really enjoying the game. Thanks man! Keet it up!
You got this! I pretty much struggled my first dozen or so runs, but watching dunk made me realize just how much cooler the game was than I was experiencing. After that, I really did fall in love. I've come to the point now where I almost look forward to dying- it gives me an excuse to play more noita! lol
Just bought this game a couple days ago on a whim after watching Connor's video, and despite not usually enjoying roguelikes this game is clearly something special. Your videos have been helping a ton, so thank you very much!
We must solve this human need called “sleep” so much time going unused will forever prevent the truly god-like run.
I can safely say, Connon Conquers was 100% the reason I joined the Noita head-bashing
I just downloaded nouta two weeks ago because I programmed a falling sand game & now I’m obsessed 😭. Also you’re an excellent content creator. Love the passion and thorough tutorials. Thanks for your help & im excited to see the new videos!
I just got noita too and it’s literally the perfect evolution of falling sand games. The unpredictability of everything definitely keeps it more exciting than just mixing particles too😂
I hope this makes your channel get bigger, you deserve it and so does every noita player
I picked a fantastic time to stumble across this game lol. It's so good!
Enjoy!
And for anyone new to Noita, id highly reccomend his long form videos as he goes into great detail about mechanics. And also look at a youtuber named FuryForged. He is also extremely great at Noita. Both are my 2 favorites, hope they become yours. Throw on a long form vid while you struggle through it, just listen till something catches your ears.
Worst guide to noita got me to noita and this channel! I ve been loving it
i am one of the new people that got the game a few days ago because of the sale because of your vids and the one titled "the worst guide to noita" from some other guy i forget. I have convinced most of my friends to also buy the game and it's been fun discovering stuff together. I like that the idea of talking to each other and sharing info on a massive scale seems to be built into the game.
More Dunk vids coming up 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
kubek jumpscare
Noita was sitting in my steam wishlist from a long time, I added there because of the physics shown in trailers, bought it this sale (didnt even know it was because of new content added) and started playing completely blind. I already put 10 hours in 2 days and will definitely check out the videos on your channel when I feel like I played enought in the dark and want to learn more about the game!
also I died about 30 times already and got as far as the snowy depths, dont even know how many layers there is but that one is hard XD
It sure doesn't get easier haha
don't get spoiled! it will be much more enjoyable if you don't
ps: the nota discord server has people in their vc's (me too) that can help with wand building if you need it
If you like blind, you're my type of guy, but even as a going-in-blind type of guy I highly recommend looking up the Chainsaw spell mechanic and after beating the game looking up The Alchemist.
Hey one of those is (maybe depending on when this was filmed) me in that graph, I just discovered noita and bought it today! It's so fun, normally I like to stay away from anything battle-y or otherwise with like many achievements because it stresses me out so much (literally when I played noita from my partners steam library a few days ago all I was saying the whole time was "I'm probably not playing the game as intended" just to realize noita wants you to think outside the box and explore and stuff) but I really love Easter eggs and secrets so it immediately drew me in the second I went into directions other games have fun invisible barriers in or just plain nothing to discover that there are things there that you can explore? I love this game so much already and even if I have died so much already (I am very bad at games) apparently just knowing that this game is much more of a loose sandbox game basically and that I'm "playing it right" gave me enough confidence? Maybe? To actually get calmer with my gameplay and be able to get much further without dying as fast :)
If your having fun when playing, then your doing it right 👍
When I saw Shadow shaman on your desktop in one of your videos, it instantly clicked lol. Interactions and masochism, of course you'd like dota and noita!
7k is noita's peak?! That is insane to me... Its one of the greatest games ever made, I thought itd be at least 50-100k
It's a singleplayer game that's why. If the game had co-op mod it would be insanely popular. Imagine th chaos!
its a niche game at the end of the game... also it tends to bitch slap casual players right in their casual face. Also every other type of player. The point is, it's an acquired taste.
Well, its not particularly noob friendly and some people find it feels unfair. People like you and me may like that but it doesn't have that much mainstream appeal
That's just on Steam, I bought it on GOG
@@akurvaanyadat No that's definitely not why. Multiplayer doesn't make a game good.
After years of lurking, I decided to give myself the treat and bought Noita last month.
Now the update came and I couldn’t be happier.
I've been playing for about 3 weeks and i love it. Tnx fot content, helps me a lot!!
A new All-Time peak users for Noita? Oh yeah baby!
Massive shout-outs to the Nolla dev team for virtually coming back from the void for making this happen.
...of course they've been working on this in Beta for virtually 1 year+... but the prior "almost-2-years" before that (Apr 23, 2021 was their last update), was silent...
Started watching your vids a few months back and bought the game back in Feburary. I'll be honest, I haven't done a lot else since...
Such an incredible game, had a few W's now and my first NG+ just last night! Thank you for everything so far and I'm looking forward to some more content to help me along with new bits and old!
I got this game 2 months ago and has been on my mind non stop and makes it hard to want to stream other games! I was worried it wasn't going to have much around since i felt i was coming in late but the community coming in has definitely proven me wrong there coming around with support and hype for newer players and motivating to make videos of this gem. Cheers for all lets all "find out at our earliest convenience"
I'm a fairly new guy, stumbled across a discussion of it on Reddit, and man. I'm hooked. It's awesome!
Hey Dunk, have you done any challenge runs where you let chat ban spells? Would be fun to see you have to be creative when inevitably Chainsaw, Add mana, sparkbolt, tele etc etc are banned.
You could even let chat ban a spell every holy mountain or something. So many fun formats for content.
our man dunk is so humble.
for any newbie around here this guy is the dang goat when it comes to noita
his stuff will single handedly teach you every detail you need to know about noita, it just might take watching 3 or 4 of his super long ones :P
Me just starting and then a week later they drop a new update *confused screaming as I’m glitterbombed*
MY FIRST RUN I GOT CHAOTIC POLY
DRANK IT
TURNED INTO A NEW MONSTER AND KILLED MYSELF FROM HOW STRONG I WAS
NOITA MOMENT
Just got the game after starting to watch you then noticed it was on sale! Already got a couple wins under my belt, sun quest here we come
may the gods bless your run with no polymorphine bullshit brother
I've had the game for months (playing of and on pf course) and I'm yet to win lol
Personally, the thing that has helped me to learn about Noita the most has been watching your long runs. There are so many little things to pick up on, and to anyone new to the game, I recommend watching one of them. They can feel a little imposing due to the length, but if you split them up, it is definitely one of the best ways to learn how to play.
One of your videos popped up on my recommended, got the game, and I haven't looked back.Love your content and the game. Wish my schedule lined up with your streams.
BTW would love to see more videos of your power hour runs. I got my first win thanks to that vid.
I watched Connor Conquers video and then watched Albinos runs. Bought Noita, and now I'm stuck in your channel learning about every mechanic in this game. Im excited for the new videos
The increased numbers is because they had a Steam Weekend Deal (with a pop up!). The update is timed to match it.
That in turn boosts youtube noita content and thats how I landed here + ended up buying the game and putting a bunch of hours in!
It's really cool being able to play Noita w/ that sense of mystery again
As soon as I heard about the push to main client I got excited for more Dunk videos. Keep em coming.
Woo! Thanks for keeping us updated Dunk!
I found this game a few weeks back while watching Lets Suffer Togethers guides for enter the gungeon lol
I cannot believe this game isn’t on the main radar, it is without a doubt one of the most challenging and rewarding games I’ve ever played. The last time I had this high of praise to give a game was Tears of the kingdom and DayZ
Naturally, I also made my way over to your guides as well lol I have to say without your help idk I’d have made it this far. Almost 50 runs in and I just made it to the laboratory. I’m getting my build together for the fight!
I first got into Noita thanks to OneyPlays and they certainly gave it the fun-factor of Noita. I soon discovered and started watching you after I bought the game for myself and wanted to learn and take it seriously. It's awesome to see more people joining into the community!
Hii!! new sub! so glad to see that you're still dedicating to NOITA!
I love Finland
I kinda lost touch with Noita last summer, but have been following the updates and playing briefly here and there and watching THE MAN DunkOrSlam. This is what some said would NEVER happen. Well, it's happening!!!!
about a 12h limit: it is possible to upload a >12h video on youtube, you'll need to stream your video, and the stream can easily be more than 12h. I don't know how to do it without the stream blocking you from your pc though.
quality would suffer with that though right?
@@Tismitch don't think so, there's something that allows you to stream an already rendered video. imagine uploading your video to the channel but it's actually a stream.
I managed to upload a 26 hour video about two years ago, but I had to lower the framerate to 30fps to reduce the size of the video file. At that time, TH-cam counted both the number of frames plus the size of the video, not the actual time length. I'm not sure if that's still the case tho
Noita is a technical marvel.
This update got me playing noita again.
I completely quit noita but then I got a noita pop up saying "noita MAJOR UPDATE" so I went back to play it and now im obsessed , because I learned things I didn't know before, I understand wand building a lot more now .
I love this game
Got the game this week and definetely gifting it to my two brothers next month, they have birthdays 3 days apart.
Respect for shouting out some other creators thats awesome man!
This combined with the new Rimworld DLC and update.
Im pretty damn happy.
I only found out about Noita when a short of PirateLab's popped up with him playing it. I downloaded the game on Monday of last week... I think 40+ hours in now.
Playing daily again since the update and yeah I want to see them darn guides on here. Bring it on.
Just returned after like a year and my promising attempt at the Sun Quest ended today when i got a little big for my britches and got domed by Squidward in a PW.
we are so back
Yo, HugoOne posts 70 hour runs on his channel. Give us that deliciously long unedited run lolol.
For real though, so stoked for the update.
Ya know, the reason I am excited about Noita is I’ve realized it’s a modern NetHack (one of my favorite games of all time). All the same types of depth and nuance, bones files, immediate death at every corner and the only thing keeping you alive is awareness of what actions will get you killed and an understanding of how to make stew out of the ingredients RNG has given you. Every death is a lesson, every decision a measurement of risk. And when your knowledge crosses a certain threshold you realize how to attain the power of a god.
Id like to shout out Thor at PirateGames as while his community has exploded over the past 6-12months he was playing this alot and drew me in completely, which is around the time the Noita got a nice boost
I am so stoked to see more TH-cam content
Noita with couch coop would be the breaking point for 5 digits concurrent player count
Or making noita officially multiplayer, however crazy
Its crazy thay so many people are getting back into noita at the same time that noita is getting updated, i even seen people who never played the game before getting it.
the spell is the only grass we'll be touching for a while
I had no idea the game got such a big update, I just randomly decided to get it since I wanted for quite a while and it was on sale too. I love dying in dumb ways while I feel like having the best run so far.
YES DUDE, waiting hard on your take on this!
Glad that you have returned! Looking forward to the new content!
New player here. I somehow managed to already die in amazing ways (digging into the jungle egg and getting my face instantly chomped, blowing myself to bits while testing wands, electrocuting myself by switching items while in water, bouncing around and crashing on a landmine, teleporting myself in inescapable water and drowning...). I'm having a blast, every run is exciting and new.
LET'S FREAKINI GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Also I did NOT know your stream lasted THAT long bruh that's insane
💀💀
I'm so excited! I'm a very slow player and the exploration is my favorite part of this game. After 160 hours I got my first win and I love the fact that it feels like there is just so much of the world to explore and secrets to find and just all of it makes it such a perfect game for the type of gamer I am.
I think best intro to noita is Albino's videos !
I love your rambley content Dunk!
Got my first win at 2AM last night thanks to chainsaws spitters and an absolute god wand. Thanks for all your vids, helped a ton
Pls bless us with vods and videos
Thats crazy that such an amazing game only has had a peak of 7,9k
right? I was thinking more like 15-25k peak
Can't wait to die to my own powerful spell experiments
I got into Noita thanks to Albino BUT I learned much more thanks to you!
Originally learned of this game via wikipedia rabbit hole, i've lovrd it ever since.
Just found Noita a few days ago. I haven't seen the sun since.
This update corrupted my first sun quest save just before creating my dark sun :(. So I did it again the next day :). Thank you so much for your content that helped me so much get me my crown :)
The Sun and the Moon came together and Noita was reborn. \o/
I wish more people knew about this game... Such a hidden gem for sure.
Sitting at 115 hours played with 1 win
"The worst guide to Noita" motivated me to play Noita since a long time again. Stumbled across your videos and it was just today that I got my first win after a little over 200 deaths!
makes me so happy noita is still going strong
connor's vid is why I bought Noita. While I suck absolute ass at Noita I'm super hooked and really hope this game blows up.
Wow i didnt know they pulled those numbers holyy
Oh thats why i found mycelinium flask and i though it was weird healing liquid
Balling, time to do another full run
You're editing a 57 hours long vod into 12 hours video for us?! God bless you
2:00 that video is what made me buy noita. I don't regret, even though I never went past level 3 :,)
I came back and got my first win right before the new update 😊.
Such a fun and beautiful game.
I literally just finished my first run yesterday, best time for this update
The people who didn't play beta finally get to manage their Inventory outside of Holy Mountains.
Enjoy it, you deserve some quality of life!
UNCLE DUNK NEEDS YOU. MAKE NOITA GREET AGAIN.
it would be good to have an updated tips&tricks video. Many of those among all the Noita uploaders are outdated/fixed exploits
I wonder if "anti homing" has any use.
(I suck at wand building 😂)
theres a discord for that
Got back into it recently idk how I ever put the game down
great choice for a guide/intro recommendation. connor's video was great
I bought this game a few days ago after watching most of your 2-hour playthrough and I saw your wandbuilding and beginner's guide videos. I have discovered that my biggest problem in this game is that I love fire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just started playing last week and got my first win. About to go for other endings
lol, I have got this game just today and even didn't know that there was also a huge update anticipated, as other games that I used to play, like Terraria or GD
