This was such a good presentation! I've long wondered if this was the underlying reason the LBRP is an efficient banishing tool. Aside from the current that's present with it, your upper movement acknowledges "destruction" and the lower movement acknowledges "creation", neutralizing the space.
It may or may not be born of the same core source. But I found the similarities between the Wu Xing and the mechanics of the LBRP really fascinating.

Oh my god, you're so wonderful! So much knowledge or second, it's amazing, thanks for the wonderful work you're doing for us all! I study kabbalah for some 5 years, but I study lots of other spirituality stuff from all over the world. If you could, would you please indicate literature within Chinese and Asian cultures that could link to kabbalah, hermeticism, wu xi, I ching, tarot, and even done stuff like extraterrestrial antique civilizations and possible influencers within those schools especially in China, India, southern India and Japan? I live in Brazil, almost every reference more available is rooted in judaeo-christian traditions. Oh my god, how I'm happy to fill the gaps within my heart! I'm a practitioner of Asian techniques for lots of stuff, from Japanese Mahikari, to I Ching and Taoism. So happy to find out there's so much content and books available though the door of your videos!!

Thank you for all your videos on Wu Xing. They help clarify the theory I try to get through reading but can never seem to understand. I’m hoping as I get to fully understand this system my Tai chi, Qigong, and Bodywork can all be more effective and rewarding. I also love digging into magic systems and you are the best resource I’ve found to help my western mind understand these eastern systems.

Another great effort in explaining the crucial ideas in english! Thanks and congrats~ Just one thing, I always feel drawing parallels between Wu Xing and the Buddhistic Mahabhuta or Godai is misleading, if not detrimental, especially to beginners. They are completely different concepts, just by divine reasons both used elemental forces as representations. It misleads people to try to extract "similar meanings" from, say metal and void, or even water and water (which has the same name but different essence). It's like fitting a foot into the wrong shoes

This is so fascinating, thank you! I've studied jyotish and indian cosmology for some time, it is wonderful to get a different perspective upon these types! It seems to me more so that the book of songs could be of the nature of venusian, documents jovian, rites saturnine, changes martian and music mercurial; That would make songs metal, documents wood, rites earth, changes fire and music water.

Love your videos keep up the great work! Wise FEM Woman thou art! Can’t wait for the new book. Maybe it’s on my end but something I’ve noticed is the sound seems off whenever your on screen. The last few videos I’ve seen seem to have some feedback or interference. I don’t know what it is but maybe look into it. Sounds fine when you voice over the images so I’m not sure if your using a different mic or if it’s a settings issue. I hope to learn more and will enjoy regardless. Thank you so much!

Wow, so much information in a concise and intelligent package. So the question for me arises, once I understand how the elements and energies are moving in a given situation. How can I apply that knowledge? How to take the I Ching reading and apply it as actionable items/task, etc. I am still learning ☯️ ☯️ ☯️

I'm /almost/ angry at the last part of you mentioning wanting to connect the Five Classics and the Wuxing but coming up short, because now it's going to live in my head rent-free, and I'm going to spend the next 3 years trying in vain to bash the puzzle pieces together like an astoundingly stupid monkey.
    But some thoughts...?
To my knowledge (from reading Liji's Yueji chapter), music in ancient China was heavily associated with cosmological order and a natural method of cosmologically aligning behaviors of both rulers and the people with "what would be most harmonious"-- a metaphor that comes to mind is the notion of someone playing a drum to subconsciously influence people into marching to a beat. Book of Songs are a compilation of songs, part of which were recorded from the common folk-- a "realistic natural" state, perhaps? Or a result of how successfully the ruler have attempted to implement the cosmological order onto the masses. I'm not sure I'm making sense. But regardless. Book of Documents seem to primarily be about political philosophy and rulership; argumentation on what "true societal order" should look like and the philosophical steps to achieving it. Book of Rites continue this by presenting a rigid roadmap of actions (rituals) to that end. It is geared towards the living so that they, in a grounded, practical sense, could maintain connection with the divine (and maintain practical order) without necessarily trying to "understand" divinity. Book of Changes, on the other hand, steps past this focus on organizing the mortal world to favor instead understanding, and in a sense gaining the ability to manipulate the outcome of, divine secrets.
So in summary, I suppose this is how the order appears to me, in my possibly delusional head:
Book of Music -> Book of Songs -> Book of Documents -> Book of Rites -> Book of Changes -> Book of Music
ie. Music is a way to assert "a" cosmological order in a natural way everyone innately understands, and the state of this order, ie. to what degree it is whole or not, is reflected in the songs the commonfolk create and sing. The songs sung, in a sense, collectively inform everyone of the state of the world (ie. in peace? at war?) through its contents. The current state of the world generally cause philosophical thinkers or "great men" to speak up about what they think would be the antidote to the specific ongoing strife. The winner of these philosophies butting against each other would then be implemented through establishment and observations of rituals, which often would attempt to connect the base mortal world with a higher plane of divinity and ideals. Once you have that bridge back to divinity, attempts to more deeply understand its inner workings could result in a new "refinement" in the understanding of cosmological order, which could then be softly implemented through music.
How that might translate to states of Wuxing? (laughs in fear) Don't ask me I majored in biomedical engineering and am talking out of my ass
Regardless, the "personality tests" seem to reflect the ideal behaviors of people who truly understood and took the contents and core of each classic to heart (in understanding divination, hopefully you learn to be wise as to not cause great upset; in understanding rituals, their places and reasons, hopefully you learn to be disciplined and the reasons why you must be so; in learning (harmonious) music, you train yourself into being in alignment with the ideal Heaven, etc), so I wonder if reverse engineering to get to the core of each classic would help get something closer to the more dynamic set of concepts that is Wuxing.

Thank you for another great video! One question - I've seen different sources explain how Metal supporting Water works and you mentioned some examples here - that Metal is providing minerals to Water or that Water is able to condense on Metal. I've also seen that Metal vessels provide containers for Water or that Metal melts and flows like Water. Do you know what the standard examples are that are typically given in most Chinese literature? It seems like this particular relationship is the most abstract amongst all of the creation and destruction relationships so any clarity you could provide here would help. Thank you!

One totally-just-jokes-but-on-second-thought-maybe speculation my friends and I have had was that ancient Taoist alchemists believed that potions containing mercury could endow you with immortality. :-D I wonder if it's premised on the belief that fortifying water solutions with minerals was the process of creating medicines for healing, thus Metal increases the powers and potency of Water. *shrug*

Or maybe I mean, why the chinese system calls them wood and metal. This has always confused me. This is different than the Ayurvedic explanation I heard which started with Aether out of everything arises...
