I am in class 9th and literally this videos speaks all the facts ! Our Education System does not focus on learning but on "kya ye exam me aayega ?" This thing needs to change...the things we learn in previous class forget as soon as the exams are over. Focus on learning not for exams.
Books 📚 you described as outdated are in fact still Bible today. Ncert is such a beautiful book(science stream) . No book in market can match it's level. Talking about application based question you must see this year term 1 paper. When board tried to put good level qn you discouraged it by saying why you are asking such difficult qn. I think when population is the main problem competition will remain and thus comparison. Changes that you were looking for are in NEP. Let's wait nd see the change.

I'm a student currently studying in NIT Goa. Though our syllabus is yet to complete, we're "ready" to rush towards the exams and give it anyhow! Coz in India, exam matters a lot than the process of learning. Thanks Abhi and Niyu for addressing our pain. We should rise above this system and strive to create a better one ! ♥️

@@sanjaytiwarytiwary6450 Solving questions are no fun…making something from what we learn is enjoyable and it is not stressful and the point no one is interested in projects is because they do not decide your final grades but the exams do…also solving application based questions doesn’t give you the experience of applying them in the real life.
Also exams only prove that you know something but it doesn’t prove that you learned something…

They literally ruined my studies by dividing the syllabus into terms . I can score more than 90% in 80 marks paper. But when it comes to 35/40 marks , I barely get 80%.

Cbse improved this year boards paper 2022 is totally based upon skills ...question were not directly framed there were introduced to a real life phenomenon and then asked ...which caused a lot of students to loose marks... so it's improving ...but then children along with ministers in parliament start to question are tough then how will this work....?

:34 false, exams are focusing on concepts I am from class 10 and our all exams are concept based even english and hindi. This did not make anything easy like most backbenchers want infact it made exam even harder because no matter how much you study you are not going to do good in exam because teachers not trainined for this system . Plus we rats now batch 2021-2022 , they are doing all kinds of experiment even our preboards are rot learning based

This time CBSE's Term 1 questions were made conceptual based but they schools had not provided us the conceptual understanding so it ruined our term 1 result though🥺 But I'm happy because I mostly prefer understanding rather than mugging up....
But again term 2 is less conceptual

If we can look into almost two decades of the syllabus from any Indian board we can easily conclude that there have been negligible changes in the syllabus. One thing that the Indian Education System lacks is market knowledge and functional aspect of literacy. In layman’s terms, we always know the definition of a certain process but never know how to do it. Functional literacy has been totally zoned out due to the extreme importance that our grades have. Along with this, our curriculum has zero basics of how the market functions and how the economy runs. The basic market education should be provided to students at least from the secondary level so that they have a wider understanding of the financial functioning of the world.
Economics is there in SST of higher grades in CBSE. And I love the way it is taught in the NCERT books

Well, the root problem for this is in TEACHER .....it's the bad teachers who work for salary instead of education that ruins the system ....tbh, our system quite good enough to give education for diverse forms of people ....but teachers are not able to justify this....it's just my opinion, no offense

And internals which keep coming at u every other day .... As u reach the last sem u don't give a damn about exams ....And over half of the subjects in atleast my civil engineering are not industry oriented or just useless ... When as a civil engineer ur not able to overlook the construction of a small house from start to end after graduation ... What's the point of cramming high level subjects like ... Construction of Dams ... And fluid mechanics n construction of airports ... They just focus on quantity over quality .... Only a handful civil engineers got placed n most them are shifting to tech field .... It's like u were thought tons of things ... But u still can't meaningfully execute the basic tasks of even a junior site engineer .... We talk about bad education In schools but .... Education standards in engineering colleges is shit .... Except for maybe those iits or nits ...

Ancient "Aashram" system based education was the best thing in Indian history! Nowadays our education never taught us to question ourself why I'm studying that particular thing, they never told us to find our purpose behind our actions & idea! They just give 1 or half, maybe 2 year to know about things, not to think it in dimensional perspective! "They never taught us how to dream instead always put in comparison!"- (someone greatest I knw)

I'm an English hons student.
We are bound to complete 6 semesters.
First 2 semesters = (8+8)= 16 books (novels, poems, etc.)
Next 2 semesters = (12+12)= 24 books.
Next 2 semesters = (16+16)= 32 books.
1 semester = 3-4 months.
No interesting stuffs, no grammer, no writing skills. Consume age-old Q&As in breakfast, lunch, dinner. Plus Generic subject, Compulsory subject. I'm really annoyed. 😕😞

I Want to just describe mistakes I did and problems which I faced during my whole education....
1. Language Barrier- I am from marathi medium and after 10 th got admission in top college in Pune ...I got admission in science.....and didnt understand a word because teacher taught this in English.
Because of Language barrier percentage in 12 th decreased from 91 to 66😢
2. Gap in Graduation- In first year I was suffering from High fever and low BP that's why I can't continue my college and took break for 4 months it affects on studies and as a result I got Year Drop
Because of this year drop I am not eligible for any company in MNC😢....no use of degree and knowledge....because of only one year 😢I wasted 17 years in my life😓....Degree is more important than knowledge...
3. Didn't enjoy school and College Life ... because I want to score high and wants to become Topper....
But it's ok.... विझलो जरी आज मी हा माझा अंत नाही पेटेन उद्या नव्याने हे सामर्थ्य नाशवंत नाही....

Books 📚 you described as outdated are in fact still Bible today. Ncert is such a beautiful book(science stream) . No book in market can match it's level. Talking about application based question you must see this year term 1 paper. When board tried to put good level qn you discouraged it by saying why you are asking such difficult qn. I think when population is the main problem competition will remain and thus comparison. Changes that you were looking for are in NEP. Let's wait nd see the change.

I struggled nights for it... But my neighbours keep comparing my marks with my friends who secured more than me... They pressure me more than my parents... Our college management thought it was the only board on display, but not the principle behind it. As It is said EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS, but the question is what does this education stand for?
Is it theory and concept or the practical and logical knowledge or both?
The new meaning of education defined nowadays by students all over the country is Rote Learning, Marks and Rankings. 95% children in India study for marks rather than practical knowledge and the rest 5% most probably have never ever studied anything just because they are from the remote and unprivileged areas!
Let's look up to the 95% students first-
While walking on roads we can see thousands of plastic bag spread all over but none of us went and tried to clean the area though we are always taught cleanliness.
What is the use of such a knowledge...such an education which cannot be implemented for a practical change?
Theoretically whenever asked we always write such value-based answers but when it's the time to implement it practically...none of us even remember those value based moments!
Is such an Education the key to success?
Now moving on to the rest 5% -
This part the ignored one...the deprived...the unprivileged one...but what made them such typed? What is the root cause for this situation of them?
These are none other than the 95% part who are educated but not practically!
Still there are slums where some of us would hate to go though we are taught to empower such people and acknowledge them of the resources!
Still we can clearly observe corruption in every second scheme though we are taught about equalizied power sharing!
So the change I want to make is to change People's mentality, teach the students practical and logical education rather than theoritical concepts. Teach the 95% that marks the not all what we are running after! It's the value-based answers that are to be implemented rather than to be just written on answer sheets!

True. We need inspirer education system than aspirant education system. Subject must be classified as core learning and interest. And rather than exams there shall be case studies and realtime problem solving.
I've been an introvert, so in my high school days I would just watch American shows and movies rather than hanging out with my friends, and so developed a slight American accent, but the English teacher thought I was mimicking them and cut my marks off in internal assessment, hail Indian education system 🙂🙂

Bro I feel frustrated when someone asks about exams and results, but the reality is this I am studying so that I can somehow grow my mind and think in the worst condition and by virtue I which my talent can be used in the goodwill of country.
Knowledge don't matter but how to apply it matters.
I don't know why students who clear entrance exam are considered that they can be good doctor or engineer, the reality is this that clearing exams can't make you sure that you can be good engineer or doctor but the man who actually uses his knowledge practically by his innovation and creativity is actually a good doctor or engineer who can help his country on development not those who come first. 👍
As someone who strives to not become an engineer or doctor but instead a researcher, i really really agree with the video. Since the release, there has been some changes and the exam papers now of 12 standard science were really good. Sure there were aspects that were to be memorized, but there were also some things which were really commendable and interesting. I personally feel that things are changing when it comes to exams, but the mentality of teachers is still a major drawback. The paper might change but as long as the teachers dont emphasize on certain things, things will be slow paced, because teachers have the biggest impact over the course of a few years. The exam paper can give thought provoking questions, which might induce changes in the teachers teaching methods, but i sincerely hope the teaching methods change on par with the exam papers and things get better

I felt trapped in a system that makes you feel worse and no one have the solution for it... Their simple answer is to just suffer the way they had suffered... It's not the child that needs to know this things let their parents know that there is a different way to learn things in this world and a different ways to have a successful life..not just doing well in exam and getting a job....

Education system should be changed from the roots .....but even after new education policy 2020 has launched...nothing has changed ...we are only launching laws and policies...who will implement them .....cbse is not working according to NEP....for example...NEP has suggested to break board exams in two terms but still cbse hasn't done anything...for 2022 to 2023 batch they have declared to take a single exam ......very worried of our education system...new subjects should be added and competition should be less..

I don't have much interest in these subjects but still I have to learn them for clearing jee
I want to learn more about coding, i also have interest in investing, trading and other related stuff but I'm not allowed to learn them because I'll get DISTRACTED BY THIS
It feels like I've got trapped in this system and there is no way to get out of it
I want to learn soo many new things but our education system doesn't allow me to do that
Everytime when i try to learn something new and productive I have to resist myself from learning that because it would distract me from my studies

I remember when I was in my 11th standard I searched for labratory preparation of diazonium salt and what I found on whole Indian TH-cam is just theoretical lectures when I searched this question on Quora I got many educated persons from the well known Institute of like IIT NIT they all were addressing the same thing none of them were actually able to help me out.
Well that was a problem for me but i learned from foreign youtube channels and internet forums.
And now my channel is a solution for all the chemical science and Rocket Science lover who want basic and necessary information in HINDI language.
However still a lot of people including Millions of young minds are more interested in Kacha Badam than science or in learning.
