I'm a simple man. I see a sick album cover, I click on it. I listen to fire music, I stay.
cavaleiro

so relatable
same
same for me
Came for the occult metal, stayed for the jazz
Right lol
Same! I get recommended both, so had no idea which one this would be, lol.
same :D
Amen
Deadass lol I was hyped for some raw bass guitar riffs
Whoever found this video must have impeccable taste
Thank you and I salute you.
600k views, not exactly unknown or unheard of 😂
@@icankillbugs I didn’t say it was any of those
@@Porkishi You exclaim and balk over the thought of somebody finding a very out-there, popular video as though it's the most surreptitiously hidden geocache lol

albums coming out of nowhere with a knight on the album cover and with cool fonts has to be my favorite genre
You're damn right
need more from this genre
Love it when a random intuitive clicks land me on a gold mine
Normally, I do not approve of piggybacking off things with cult followings, like DS art, but when you make music like this you just gotta stand back and praise the sun god
Exactly!
That's how i discovered one of the best prog bands ever, the band called 'Gentle Giant', i found the album cover so wicked that i had to click on it, and then boom, hooked.
Trust intuition, God is in your gut. ⏸️

"Amazing music ahead, therefore praise the sun!"
praise the message!
Quagmire…
A new favorite thing, reading soulsbourne messages irl
"try finger

I came for the Souls. I stayed for the jazz. I got melted by the trip hop!
Praise the absolute fucking sun
Same here praise the sun
nice 😅
So this is trip hop? Because after a few seconds i discovered this: OSCOB is a Vaporwave / Ambient / Hardvapour artist from ger.^^
@@WeirdRoamingWolf trip hop is an old school term for what this music may be. I used the term to accentuate the arcane aspect of the overall vibe.
Came for the sun worship, stayed for the divine source of existence.
this is gold as ruby is red
I thought this was another Metal playlist that TH-cam recommended to me, but it turned out to be something better
the whole aesthetic of this plunder genre is something i really never seen before. peak internet stuff, i love it
well said. i feel the same way
a e s t h e t i c
vaporwave was similar. what they have in common IS aesthetics. The album art, the music, all of it- It's all meant to be aesthetically pleasing. which the more i think about, make this music pretty narrow and defined (might be why vaporwave didn't last).
this album artwork pulls heavily from the Dark Souls games series if you didn't know.
What do you mean vaporwave didn't last? It's more alive than ever. Just gotta know where to look.@@Whisper0ak
@@joshbarnes9267 Yeah I guess so. I'm not saying it isn't still being made. But it was nearly mainstream pop culture at the height of it's popularity, then it sorta just fell off the map. One didn't used to have to look for it- it was trendy enough to be found by the masses. Vaporwave isn't dead but i'm not seeing the life you speak of. I think vaporwave got 'played out' and perhaps a similar thing will happen with music like this video. Phonk is another type of plunder-music that doesn't look like it has much future because although good, it's narrow and limited in characteristics. Time will tell. But its hard to see how this stuff is going to stay fresh when it's mostly recycling the old.
I guess I feel like it's doing well because I'm following all of my favorite vapor artists and labels on Bandcamp and get notifications pretty much daily about new music and physical drops. I'm sure you're correct that it was most popular a while ago but the scene is still alive and well from what I've witnessed from being in it the past couple of years.@@Whisper0ak
This one’s for the people crawling through poison swamps

It's my birthday today and I feel so completely and utterly blessed to receive this beautiful gift from the gods. Magic is all around.
Happy birthday ❤❤❤ I wish you happiness and prosperity 🧚♂️
habby repirth day
I want this on vinyl so I can slow dance to it basked in sunlight on a nice bright and warm morning.
dance nyway
I like how people who don't know about Dark Souls were still intrigued by the cover art. To those who haven't played it you really should. It has the same relaxing vibe.
What do you think of dragon's dogma?
“Dark souls” and “relaxing” do not belong in the same sentence 😂
@@adeledam1but yet it fits so very well
@@adeledam1 as wild as it sounds, dark souls is kinda my comfront game tbh
i wish i would die in Majula from ds2, it's so nostalgic, sad and happy at the same time
i love when youtube occasionally blesses my feed with good music
This feels very fun, like syrup is being mixed. It's texture feels really good.
That's such a poetic way to describe this. I completely agree.
i wish i could do that
Great way with words.
You write?
;l.,
What in the Dark Souls Doomer Jazz is this? Im feeeeeelin it
It's the night, I should be sleeping, and I'm once again finding myself listening to this album
I swear there's something so hypnotic about the last song ("take care, it's a desert out here")
It feels like I'm stuck in the Overlook Hotel, smoothly dancing with some ghost people, sipping some fancy Martini cocktail and moving my shoulders slowly to the never-ending song with that relentless echo... and I'm enjoying it. Truly fascinating
i'm only one song in, and this is definitely what it feels like to have the sun hug you on a day where the wind is harsh and bitter.
Raven’s flying in slow motion
Mixing up my potions
Pondering the void
Of destroyed cosmic oceans
lake filled with rot
like my heart red with devotion
they sleep on me like trina
the maddness cause their commotion
Am I inside ? Is not going to I will have to drive
Magical ether
Gently sussed away from my path,
The Hero straddling a Nightmare,
TRAVELS IN THE COOL NIGHT AIR-
Chasing shadows behind incandescence
Cant move or prove my innocence
Amidst the dark bliss comes finally
The only Londo I approve - explored anally
Praising the Sun while Pondering my sanity,
As I slay these blutklat demons with insanity,
I will forge the fire so it may ignite once more,
As the demons in my head break down the door,
Also fire rhime bro
I wish I did more,
Unnoticed words we failed to hear,
Days passing by, wishing I did more,
Weeks I try to cry but I'm playing by ear,
My eyes decieved me too long,
Rather be blind the deaf, your vision is flawed, I staying neutral,
No feelings involved makes it mutual,
Oh you thought I had the key, b, I only have keys after finishing 3,
High and mighty, that's me when I'm driving, front seat,
The back is all you good for, I wish I did more,
No love or point in pondering the past,
The moments I present myself could never last,
The future is a burden, all these damn curtains and my ass-
still sitting on the surface staring through the glass, scared to ask,
sorry gotta move to notes I aint done lol.

1:31:13 the first version of maria quiet (1966) is Maria Moita, from Nara Leão (1964), one of the greatest bossa nova singers in Brazil
Came for the Sun Worship, stayed for the yazz.
This album makes me want to search my own Sun 🙌🏽☀️

This album inspires me to be so grossly incandescent
When youtube works as intended, you find these gems!

I'm a simple man. i see my name in reverse, i click on it. i listen to fire music, i stay.
The melody of "A Place Beyond" has been stuck with me for a while now. It feels like a well-meaning fever dream.
i can only hope this indicates an era of more albums with similar cover art to song composure aesthetic
Oh yes the ancient knowledge is widespread again. A second Renaissance/Enlightenment period
apenas uma manhã calma para um clt que trabalha à noite. paciencia, solidão, plenitude.. a vida tem seus momentos de estagnação e não há mal algum em aproveita-los
god how much i love this genre of music.. idk how i found it but goddamn
This album has lessened my dysphoria, watered the crops of my soul and restored my humanity
I hope that whatever you're going through, you make it out the other end alive and happy. As the you that you want to be.

Под это слишком хорошо рисовать. Мои рекомендации работают как надо. Это восхитительно!
Yes i love drawing to this stuff!!!
This album cover is epic, praise the sun 🙏
pagan xd
With this playlist, I imagine myself as a sniper in a hot desert, sitting and waiting for a caravan of loot under the scorching sun.
And in the last track I finally burn out from sunstroke, never having waited for my prey.
Came for Jazz, Stayed for Soul(s)
What a mesmerizing combination of jazz, vaporwave, funk, with dungeon synth album cover.
glamorous, beautiful, masterpiece. I take my hat off to you master...thank you for doing this for music, while people are losing their focus and not valuing or respecting the significant things in life, these guys make this, I can't understand it I want to thank you for keeping it real, bless you...
A person who sat in his room playing dark souls over and over becoming more hollow day by day who likes dungeon synth and black metal must have made this. Cheers!
The album art & title brought me here on this the day of a total solar eclipse, 4/8/2024.

I just found this, it's April 8th 2024, today it's gonna be my first total solar eclipse, life is crazy
if only I could be so grossly incandescent as that album cover
Across the ramparts of the Undead Burg, a warrior gazes in the distance.
A wanderer just like me, ruminating our existence.
This man is devoid of fame, kind words prove his good intentions.
The stranger calls me by my name as he stares into the sunset.
Ahh yes, I have stumbled upon great music. I may rest awhile.
This is so well mixed I am shocked! More people should listen to this.
You should know by now 🙄

Very cinematic and relaxing, especially in the beginnning.
TH-cam recommended this to me on the day of 2024 solar eclipse. Perfect album of the day!
Today is my birthday, and besides I'm not likely to celebrate it, I feel like listening this album is kind of a gift from the Universe to me. A special thanks to all the humans involved on the creation of such a gorgeous piece of art. I'm brazilian, and as we always say, 'I'm sorry for my bad english 😄
Holy Mother Nature the last song is out of this world, I cannot stop listening!!!
It's an english and jazzyfied version of a brazilian song called "Maria Moita". I personally like Nara Leão's version of it.
It seems that someone finally found the hidden bonfire located at the Village Vanguard.
came for dungeon synth, stayed for the mall synth jazz
Jeez this is insane!
'for the fogs about the earth may weigh you down' is my power tune.
