~ ABOUT ME
Just a boy and his vaporwave lab.
I reimagine great hits to design soundtracks.
Almost everything here is plundered.
I take some credit but keep in mind
nothing here is totally original.

The graphic desinger deserve an AWARD for that thumbnail!!!!!
100% agree!!!!
It's very striking, it's hard not to check out the music the cover art is so intriguing
I'm a GD and was thinking the exact same thing. It's an incredible piece of design.
You deserve an award for having good taste!!!
@@TheSeptuagintok let's just all have some reward and put an end to this selfmasturbating discussion...

Wow❤
exactly! that's what i've been doing :D
I love that every comment is about the music itself but can we also appreciate the album cover .. the layout, images colors and fonts
And Snoop Dogg too.
@@kwajoopokuware Halal Snoop is real.
color contrast!
The hole in the fence really speaks to me.
we can, it's pretty good.
As a middle eastern arab , listening to a vaporwave music like that is very exquisite ! Good music indeed 👍
It's extremely rare to have every track on a album that's worth listening to.
Facts, especially this genre lately.
Yup. Last time for me it was Flunk- For Sleepyheads Only.😊
larks tongues in aspic, spiderland, 200% electronica, remain in light, etc.
Easy to do when they all sound the same 😂
Listen to roy ayers or Jorge ben
Can we all agree that #4 is the best track off this album????
Arabic Snoop respect! Fckn great designs throughout your albums ❤
Glad I m not the only one
also glad i'm not the only one
Can we appreciate that the songs tell a story?
The songs names are, in sequence:
01. far from home (intro) 00:00
02. getting lost 01:07
03. strange gateway 05:24
04. fetishisms 11:41
05. pleasure overdose 16:08
06. arrest at dawn 22:28
07. dusty prison 27:41
08. the great escape 34:24
09. red sunset (miss home) 40:20
Its about a person that is far from home, gets lost and finds a gateway. Then have a huge party, gets arrested and scapes.
Each of the songs convey the emotions of their story part.
Its so cool
also wise to remember that when travelling it's often the case that dealers have arrangements with local cops where the dealer will sell to a tourist then tell the cop so the cop can get a bust
such a great album cover, I really like how it feels "valuable" to look at it. The mix between electronic, voices and instruments also fit very nicely, modern without having any kind of fillers
There's a story in the titles as well.
number 4 is the best for intoxication
arrest at dawn speaks to me on another level
I Feel The Same Brother.... .. That track Speaks Directly to My Soul.... .. ✊🏽👑💎
Respectable, however, I much prefer pleasure overdose.
I hate the high pitch sound lol
I'm feeling this❤
sample from turkish türküs?
This make me feel like, goint thru desert, drinking coffee with tuaregs and whatching the orange sunsets... dam, so magic!
I need this in spotify bruh
we* need this on spotify
After the great escape, I was able to repair my LG washer 😎
May the force be with you 💪
arabic music is just somthing else
this has been another dose of my never ending craving for middle eastern vibe indie music ever since i heard desert sand feels warm at night and eyes of ibad from pachinko
I wouldn't consider this fully Middle Eastern. If you listen closely, you can hear a lot of Indian instruments/tracks mixed in. Persian music and instrumentals would go amazingly well with the indie genre, but I've yet to see anyone do that yet.
@@zack2804 yes thank you for clarifying
if you play this 1.25 speed, you get like a OST for a dreamcast retro - futuristic unreleased game
Yep we’re getting out of Lebanon with this one 🔥
تستحق جائزة والله ❤
"Pleasure overdose" indeed... This album is absolutely sublime, the first time I listened I was transfixed. This music actually makes me nostalgic for the similar stuff I listened to as a kid. I remember my parent bringing home a lot of Deep Forest and Enigma CDs, I would listen to them for hours. This album captures the same kind of enigmatic beauty that stole my heart way back when. I'm so glad that this album exists, I shall revisit it many times. My favourite tracks are 4 and 5, the singing in 5 is unearthly. Also, the desert is my favourite setting! So this album checks pretty much every mark for me!
Reminds me of Enigma as well. Have similar memories from childhood.
thanks for the comparisons you two, I had listened to a little Deep Forest before but never Enigma... and I had a couple Delerium albums as a teenager after copying everything in my sister's CD binder, hadn't thought about that stuff in a dog's age!!
You're right it sounds a lot like Deep Forest, but if Deep Forest got lost in the desert with Lawrence of Arabia
i don't know what those are but i guarantee they're nothing like this
29:00 اول مره أسمع موسيقئ تناديني 😍
its a cool album but one thing that westerners seem to keep getting wrong is the differentiating between middle easterns and south asians. in song 4 (fetishisms) middle easterns do not use that instruments, that is a south asian instrument!
truly creative music is not limited by rules, and it is NOT up to a listener to decide what is "correct" for the creator of the music to do
I think that's why it's called fetishisms. Westerners have misrepresented and stereotyped Arabian music to something that it isn't.
@@CastleHassall True, we can hear Mongolian throat singing in song 5!
Thank you for representing our culture with this amazing painting and delightful music.
Excellent use of "desert" samples. This music got me thinking about all the exotic kingdoms and sandy deserts I'd seen in movies and video games growing up, but how the first time ever seen a desert with my own eyes was earlier this year- and I didn't even realize how novel the experience was for me at the time. Maybe you didn't intend it as such, but this mix really got me thinking about what I absorbed about deserts from fiction growing up.
If people are not listening to good music, is because they dont want to... simply eargasm all the way
the feeling of being lost in the desert, amazing keep it up i love this vibe north african/middle eastern i was looking for this its perfect .
yeah like the people attacked by the hamas at the music festival
@@Elmafusa69 Shoo, out with your hate and far stretched associations, it is no place to discuss such topics.
@Elmafusa69 yeh after 70 years that's the least they can do

THIS NEEDS A PART 2 !!!!
Am I hearing some Turkish in Arrest at Dawn? it feels like a folk song. Great!!
Dude, you can take some more credit! You are an artist, these mixes are OOOOOOZING in style, thought put into it and even the text below each video and the graphic designs are crazy polished. I'll have some money coming your way good sir, you deserve it!

spoiler: its not just youtube that does this, your Internet provider does this, your search engine of choice does this, every single website you use does this. advertisers know what you want more than you know what you want
the art, the theme, the music genre. Idk what youtube recommended to me but this combination hit so hard for me that I am hooked to this for days already.
Too good man
nah fr ive just been on rym looking at barber beats since youtube put me on this pipeline, the art style for this genre is genuinely insane
my curiosity paid off big time with this one
Sounds like Mark Morgan. I like it.

This album cover would look amazing on merch!
far from home (intro) 00:00 is a masterpiece!

Cope by listening to Zodiak
listen to muslimgauze
just listen to classical music in the orientalism genre ( saint saens for example )
I was listening to Permaculture - Modest by default when TH-cam suggested this album. I think you can give them a try
Interesting, authentic, inspiring and great electronica
this is a banger mix. fun fact, spy from cairo also goes by Zeb, and has some banger tunes. some of those were sampled by other artists, namely "the place to be" and "the water and the sun"
This is big. I love the quote at the bottom. Or statement? I'm not sure who said that, if anybody.
Dusty Prison.
this is a way to cap off the work week. much
texas here
not sure why this started playing right after a death metal song I was listening to ended, but this is damn GOOD
Reading exodus while listening to the great escape 🗿
mmmmmmm 90s lounge beat with oriental samples. this is a good pocket
Very nice, reminds me of 90s downtempo stuff, esp Thievery Corporation "Lebanese Blonde" and Up, Bustle & Out "Emerald Alley".
My uncle died a month ago and he I and were very close. He drew a very large funeral and I, of course, wanted time to speak about Freddie. Before taking my turn, I approached the PA worker and told him to queue this album up. I stood at the pulpit and let this album play as I spoke about my uncle. After about 3 minutes of speaking, I just let the album keep rolling. Everybody in the church was bopping for the full 45 minutes. Unfortunately, this meant that his wife and son did not get time to share any thoughts about him, but they did get to hear some new, good music. This is probably what uncle Freddie would have wanted.
truly a masterpiece, the only complaint about this album is that it ends
12:16 this part is straight fire
As an Arab the thumbnail is just alluring, and the music is astonishing, great work!~
I can visialize the camel in the background slow grazing.

pleasure overdose is one of the greatest things I've ever listened to...
Big Stronghold Crusader vibes
This is a certified Arab classic!
fetishisms (11:41) has a sample giving me strong spore creature editor's vibes
The sky is beautiful, let it glow down on you, smile back up at it.
This really gives me some Pathologic vibes, like what if Pathologic took place in the Middle East.
This whole thing is fucking fire
second half gives me Moby vibes & its marvelous. 💙
Love this! Gives Thievery Corporation vibes, one of my fave groups
Freedom or Heaven 🍉
I can't even begin to say how this album speaks to me. It is such an artistic inspiration and is just putting you in another universe of reality. I think I will just write a book about this one day. About how music and atmosphere work together to create such pleasure. You are very talented, slowepace.
We appreciate you so much, thx!
Imagine you're in a desert far from home starving from dehydration and heat. Then all of a sudden you see in the far horizon what appears to be an oasis. As you approach the oasis you hear this music playing. The closer you get the louder it gets eventually you get there drink plenty eat well and just relax. Those are the vibes I got :))

Also red sunset is something really work of art and it hit me really hard! Well done
I feel like I'm on a magic carpet ride, and the sky is full of stars 🤩
This is amazing. I especially love the cover with the quote to fight until there's nothing left and the fact that the track titles create a story which played in my mind while listening to this. Such great vibes and talent to put this together.
Absolutely couldn't leave this as is. Went to Bandcamp and purchased the album. I felt I was being a thief for not paying for the great experience.
Who agree with me the second track is some thing that is gift from god to our souls or our ears to listen and feel that music. I cant even pass or denie there are some thing majesty and blessful .
Mine is like the last comment, dope pro bro
Thank you TH-cam recommendations for this absolute gem, spaced me out for an hour. Clicked because of a thumbnail, very powerful art!
