This is a legendary album that seems to disappear out of thin air, then appear when you don't expect it to.
It's like when a movie has a running joke / side plot about the coolest, most mystical thing ever, and how some people have seen it but the main character never gets to. And then eventually it shows up only to disappear again, and the MC is treated with the same disbelief he once expressed - except it's for real.
Oh yeah, kind of like in Tenacious D with the best song of all time.
It's like part of a larger OST of life.

@@000MidnightSunrecently I've been into more avant-garde black metal that fuses with other genres, and might not even be considered black metal at all by purists. I've been enjoying White Ward a lot, with their jazzy interludes spicing things up from the usual blastbeats and aeolian melodies. I've also been leaning into the more technical death metal/black metal crossover bands like imperial triumphant, who also throw a lot of jazz stuff in there, which makes sense why I was so drawn to barber beats. Also listening to some more obscure bands like Acausal Intrusion, Bekor Qilish, and a few others. Highly recommend "black metal promotion" and "odium nostrum" as TH-cam channels to find more of the obscure stuff, they do a great job at plucking interesting bands straight out of the void.
@@000MidnightSun how could I forget AKHLYS is a band that really caught my attention too. Highly recommended. There's gonna be a million other bands I remember at later times, I just plucked a few off my commute playlist.

I just stumbled into this and I’m an instant fan. Based on the album art I didn’t expect it to sound like this. I was expecting dark synth, but instead we got this jazz-hop lo-fi atmospheric awesomeness

I find it a bit infuriating that no one mentions that this "artist" doesn't mention the original composers, his albums are just compilations and goes to the extreme to change titles and everything, why? They are amazing collections but not original music

Right from the start, I fell in love with the flamenco/acoustic guitar into, and then I was drawn into the lo-fi synthesizers !

When I first saw the thumb in my suggested videos, I was expecting Japanese Black Ambient. What I was not expecting was an excellent blend of techno, hip-hop and modern jazz. I am so glad this was re-uploaded.

@@joebungus3447 Its basically just boom-bap with higher production quality. A lot of rappers in the mid-late 90s used instrumentals like these. Nas, Mobb Deep, Mos Def etc.

Reminds me of Early 2000s. Etro Anime, Smooth jazz on 98.5 Kyot on the radio. Driving home at like 4 in the morning on the newly built freeway, sun barely starting to rise so the dusty yellow street lights are still on. No one in sight because the city I was living in was still getting built. Good times.
