I just stumbled into this and I’m an instant fan. Based on the album art I didn’t expect it to sound like this. I was expecting dark synth, but instead we got this jazz-hop lo-fi atmospheric awesomeness

I've been enjoying White Ward a lot, with their jazzy interludes spicing things up from the usual blastbeats and aeolian melodies. I've also been leaning into the more technical death metal/black metal crossover bands like imperial triumphant, who also throw a lot of jazz stuff in there, which makes sense why I was so drawn to barber beats. Also listening to some more obscure bands like Acausal Intrusion, Bekor Qilish, and a few others. Highly recommend "black metal promotion" and "odium nostrum" as TH-cam channels to find more of the obscure stuff, they do a great job at plucking interesting bands straight out of the void.

When I first saw the thumb in my suggested videos, I was expecting Japanese Black Ambient. What I was not expecting was an excellent blend of techno, hip-hop and modern jazz. I am so glad this was re-uploaded.

Reminds me of Early 2000s. Etro Anime, Smooth jazz on 98.5 Kyot on the radio. Driving home at like 4 in the morning on the newly built freeway, sun barely starting to rise so the dusty yellow street lights are still on. No one in sight because the city I was living in was still getting built. Good times.
This is simply amazing. I listen to lofi, vaporwave, trip hop, all that kind if stuff... this feels like the culmination of all of that. This is an experience and I love it.
