3:30. When you talk about fast tradesmen. Omg there was a plasterer on our site. And he was so fast. He used to literally do double the amount as the others. He had a guy with him as well. And he used to finish early . And when he left the site. You would have other spreads checking his walls for level and that. And it was all spot on. He used to make a fortune 😂😂😂

Congratulations on using a proper trowel with straight edges not one of those silly round edge American things ! You should appreciate the fact he is teaching you the art of corner building .
I remember my Dad had me rolling mortar all day long when I first started .I had 6 months of corner building before I could run in with the others .I had the best Bricklayer teaching me ,sad to say they are passed away now but great memories and great laughs .
Take notice of what your Bricklayer is teaching you it seems he is teaching you well 😉

Alright Charlie . Why call a modern day bricky labourer a hod carrier ? most couldn't manage a hod nowadays , times have changed and not many modern day lads could manage a hod over an 8 hour shift up a ladder , and it's a knack to load a hod with muck and carry up ladder . Can a hod still be purchased ?

You are fast bricky but your work looks neat and your actually teaching the employees instead of using them as cheap labour. Only thing I will say , your young you can keep that pace . But remember if this is your career look after yourself.
