Never stand at the front of the auction while bidding… auctioneers can pretend they have someone bidding against you, to drive your bid up.. it’s a common practice… I’ve seen it many times… particularly at police auctions… Very nice rig, beautifully done.. and a great deal!!
We really considered buying a Con/Edition command center much like this one but we were concerned about parking to get groceries and boondocking access. Also, maintenance expenses. My wife & I ended up with a 30’ compromise! The RV in this video is absolutely beautiful! That you both!
Nice home on wheels! May run up on Jay sometime as I noticed he's from Troup county Georgia. I live about 10 miles south across the line into Alabama. Troup county has a very friendly, hometown feel. Everyone I meet there are so personable. I am a musician for a church in Troup. I hope to be on the road in the near future myself and have been following Cheap RV Living for quite some time. Have gained a lot of knowlege from Bob and this channel.
Oh my. I could easily live in that knowing I could road trip anytime. I always wanted to see all the states. That era is gone as I retreat to Hawaii with a 1999 Toyota Sienna. Going to travel every road I can in it and sleep on the beach in it in campgrounds going home to a newer affordable senior apartment. Dreams do come true. This rig is pretty impressive. Nice bachelor digs. Sleeping like a baby sounds good as only close to rural land is my deepest sleep as I imagine for those with a love of wheel wonderments. What a fantastic video Bob! It is fun and educational with your conversations. You really have a natural gift as a good listener. I have to see this at least two more times. ❤
Let me know when you throw the first square dance or disco event in that salon!!! I agree with Bob-you’ll be the most popular guy at the RTR-but now that you’re in this interview you’ve got hundreds of ready-made fans and you’re popular already!!!

Bob can you do a video that covers how you deal with bugs, snakes, scorpions and other dangerous critters. I also wonder about your dog being at risk for getting hurt as he wanders around, and how people keep from getting bugs inside their vehicles or tents. Than you so much!
$60,000 sounded expensive until I saw what he got for that. That bus will probably last forever because everything was so well made. What a wonderful home!

Huge... Looks nice inside. but cant imagine having to drive and find a place to park. I guess the price was not too bad considering how much of the interior was aready professionally done... nice wood on the inside. I think I would spend the money and get the solar... you could keep the generators for back up, but the solar and the amount you could mount on top you could have power all the time from the sun if you got the right batteries/setup
Wow very nice, so the 12k gen set on the side with the 3 50amp power plugs - he didnt really get into it but that is actually to power something big outside the rig - you could easily backfeed and power a small home with that setup

Government/Police/Military Auctions are the best! Those departments never scrimp when specifying with and spending our (taxes) money. They also renew capital equipment with alarming regularity. If you can raise the funds, you won't find - as here - better bargains; state-of-the-art equipment for pennies on the dollar. One of those rare opportunities to profit from The Man, everyone who could, should. :D Another great YT, as always: Thank you.
What an incredible rig - and such a steal! The cost of all that cabinetry alone would be over $60k. The storage space, the build quality, the engine, the power... just amazing. Could use a few windows though. Imagine taking that through a drive-thru! 😆 The elephant (dinosaur?) in the room? ⛽
We all no how 2 go 2 the bathroom but I want 2 no about some other things, if u have no home base u r full time on road what about banking, mail, what if u need dentist or mechanic work
I love this thing, but did I see delamination on the rear of the passenger side of the rig, or was that from the removal of the wrap? Very nice setup indeed. Extremely comfortable, extremely expensive to operate from fuel to tires, registration etc...Again, I do love this rig.
Like Bob said, This thing is just Geogeous👍! Certainly Jay will be safe wherever he goes, that is, if he can get in there😉. Everything makes sense on this 'RV', except the outdoor shower. Jay said it came with it. Why would it not have it indoors with the porcelain toilet? Why with all that high command build would police personnel still have to be exposed to the elements, and to whatever else for that matter, just to get clean?
Nice! I noticed that you had a Tobie's restaurant and bakery sticker in your storage room. I live in Minnesota, that place is a mandatory stop when going up to Duluth. That rig is a steal at $60,000. It would have probably cost over $200,000 to buy an RV that would be comparable.
I appreciate the smaller more practical setups. But man this thing is just awesome. He got a 1.3 million dollar bus for 60k what a freaking deal! Plus you can party on the roof if you want, wow!

Our church was able to buy a short school bus with 56,000 miles on it from the Community Action Head Start Program for $5,500.

It gets great gas mileage parked , no generators running, otherwise about 6 mpg .
I’ve had Buicks with that kind of mpg’s, so it wouldn’t really put me off unless I was driving to work an hour from home. 😂
